This International Women’s Day, as the world rallies behind the call to “Accelerate Action,” I find myself pausing to ask: Accelerate… from where? To what? And with whom? I turn the mirror on myself — reflecting on the life that shaped me, the lessons that carried me through, and what I owe the two people watching me most closely: my daughter and my son.
What has the world taught me about being a woman — not just in media, but in life? Nature balances itself effortlessly. Women make up nearly half the world, yet we hold just 30% of senior leadership roles.
Why is that? What are we missing? And is this conversation only about women — or is there something bigger we need to see?
Join me, as we go beyond the slogans and ask the questions that really matter. Because action is only worth accelerating if it’s taking us all forward.
