It could be argued that 1994 is the greatest year for music EVER, so the DREAM TEAM of Chris, Matt, Matthew Milligan, and Tony Hartman are once again reunited to try to outbid each other for the best of the best! A fifth drafter - returning guest Jim Logrando - is also added to the mix, adding an extra layer of complexity and competition to this fun exercise in budgeting money while gushing over some all-time favorite albums.

[00:00:00] Hey everybody, it's Chris. If you're a sports fan like me or you're just a fan of a great story, you gotta check out Pressbox Access, a sports history podcast hosted by Todd Jones.
[00:00:11] Todd sits down with fellow sports writers who experienced first-hand some of the biggest sports moments in the past 50 years and they share some of the stories behind the stories, some of which they've only told to each other.
[00:00:23] What I personally love are the wild stories that you might not hear so much about on sports center over the years.
[00:00:28] Like when Indiana-based sports journalist Bob Kravitz recounts the time Bobby Knight showed up making to an office meeting with him and then banned him from the Hoosier's locker room for the next three years because Bob wrote a story he didn't like.
[00:00:39] Or when Alexander Wolf tells a story about going out on the town in Chicago with Dennis Rodman and Carmen Electra in the middle of a Bull's Playoff series.
[00:00:47] Or when Dan Wetzel talks about what it was like to be in the media room, when Temple Basketball coach John Cheney stormed into UMass coach John Calapari's press conference after a game and threatened to kill him.
[00:00:57] These wild and fun stories paired with stories about real sports greatness, you know, like the 1970 Steelers being the greatest NFL dynasty ever.
[00:01:06] Or the legendary rivalry between Larry Bird and Magic Johnson and even the impact of protests for social justice issues in sports make Pressbox Access a show you should check out.
[00:01:16] Pressbox Access is part of the Evergreen Podcast family and it's available all the places you get your pods and you can also find Pressbox Access on YouTube. Go check it out.
[00:01:28] Knock that fire down 19.
[00:01:30] Happy cat, let's move!
[00:01:32] ABC Thursdays.
[00:01:33] Firefighters. We're family.
[00:01:35] Station 19 is back for its final and hottest season yet.
[00:01:39] The subject has explosive chemicals.
[00:01:42] With fiery romances and Andy is finally in charge.
[00:01:47] I'm going to be the best Dan Captain's station has ever seen.
[00:01:50] Station 19, all new Thursdays 10 9th Central on ABC and stream on Hulu.
[00:02:12] So here we are guys, it's the moment we've all been waiting for.
[00:02:21] I can't believe the passage of time is an insane thing and as we're recording this, we are 30 years from the year 1994.
[00:02:30] We've all been waiting for this one. It's a monumental year for music. Some might argue including myself and maybe some people in this podcast right now.
[00:02:40] Might argue it's the best year for music ever but before we get to that, this also happened to fall just by chance or maybe we planned it that way on Tony Hartman's birthday.
[00:02:51] And if I knew it was going to be that kind of party, Tony, I'd have stuck my dick in the mashed potatoes if you know what I mean.
[00:03:00] Out of context though, if somebody doesn't know what you're saying, what you mean? It's a messed up thing to say.
[00:03:07] Who would invite someone to a party that would do that?
[00:03:10] Yeah, well we'll get to that. Maybe we'll get to that eventually listeners if you don't know what we're talking about but we're not trying to name drop here.
[00:03:17] What we're trying to do is draft albums. Now here's the deal. We got the regular four.
[00:03:23] We got myself Matt Kelly. We got Matt Milligan and we got Tony Hartman here but we also because 1994 is such a stacked year.
[00:03:32] We got Jim Legrando joining us this week in his first ever draft. I know you're excited about it, Jim.
[00:03:38] I'm very excited. I really appreciate you guys inviting me to be on the show. I feel like I've been on a lot recently and it's awesome because you know the best ability is availability so I'm glad that I'm here.
[00:03:50] Chris, you you've talked about this 1994 is the best year for music thing for as long as I've known you.
[00:03:58] I always thought like that's a pretty good year. My long list for this is 48 albums that are in the content.
[00:04:07] It is insane and some of them are just like albums I like that are like a dollar value in the grand scheme of things but there's like I would say almost 10 albums that I would say like the threshold is easily over $50.
[00:04:23] That's something we'll be willing to pay for. These are big like monumental life changing albums. 1994 was a year I discovered music.
[00:04:32] Like well, I knew music existed but discovered that there was music outside of what my parents put on in the car.
[00:04:39] It was a very groundbreaking year for me so. So you agree that 1994 is the best year for music?
[00:04:46] I'm definitely converted into at a bare minimum it's a top three year we'll see what comes in the future drafts over the years but it's going to be a tough one for anyone to beat year wise.
[00:04:58] You all know the drill here for any listeners who don't know here's how it works. We all have a theoretical $100 and we all have to have five albums at the end of this.
[00:05:12] So we have to manage our money and part of this is there's some sort of scenario usually that we have what you know in the past we've been you're going to an island where you're going to have a party with all your friends and what five albums are you going to draft and your CD player is broken your car and you can only have five CDs in there.
[00:05:33] This time we're raising the stakes for the best year ever. This is these five albums you draft it's going to be as if 1994 never existed and whatever albums you draft are going to be saved.
[00:05:48] We are all going to remember these albums but all the albums that you don't draft they're going to be like kind of like that what's that Beatles movie where no one remembered the Beatles except one guy yesterday.
[00:06:00] It's going to be kind of a reverse yesterday situation where all the albums that aren't drafted are going to be forgotten and in your situation it's going to be just those five albums are going to be the ones that move on.
[00:06:15] So it's the stakes are high is what we're getting at.
[00:06:18] The stakes are high and at the end of the day what I like about these stakes is that no matter what we're collectively going to save 25 albums.
[00:06:27] Well I guess that's from existence. Yeah like it's like is even if I lose out on an album knowing that someone has kept it into the ether makes that burn a little less, a little less coming at it from a very friendly place.
[00:06:42] I like that collectively we are rescuing 25 albums.
[00:06:46] Yeah but each one of us individually only gets to own five of us and our listeners will get to go to the one hit Thunder Facebook group and vote for who did the best and I think those are the only five that should survive.
[00:06:59] Agreed yeah.
[00:07:00] The other thing just because we this was a big enough year that we actually had a group text beforehand to clarify some rules we established no greatest hits right albums are allowed for this but we did say it was okay to do a live album or I think someone said soundtrack a soundtrack if you dare.
[00:07:15] Yes because there are a couple of notable live albums and soundtracks from this year.
[00:07:20] I was gonna say there's at least one soundtrack that was released in 1990 for that I believe a lot of people consider one of if not the greatest movie soundtrack of all time.
[00:07:31] Yeah and maybe we'll get there but since it's his day we're going to let Tony go first but here's a rule that I have to throw out one more rule round one.
[00:07:42] Whatever album you nominate for bidding you have to start at $20.
[00:07:47] Okay round two you got to start at $10.
[00:07:51] Round three you got to start at five and then round four and five you can start at a dollar because there's so many good albums why even beat around the bush here you know not the name drop didn't mean a name drop there.
[00:08:03] Well let's say Tony gets to pick pick the order which also I'm sure includes picking himself first because it doesn't really matter who what the order is but Tony you can pick the order.
[00:08:14] I'm gonna be honest well first and foremost thank you so much fellas and a thunder nation for the attention on my birthday.
[00:08:23] I love attention especially on a birthday especially online.
[00:08:28] I will be picking myself first make no mistake I will I will throw out the first album and then in order on my screen it's Matt Kelly Chris Jim and Milligan so I think that's the way we're gonna go.
[00:08:45] Alright well let's get to it pretty obvious one thrown out here first is going to be green day dookie for $22.
[00:08:57] Okay the bidding starts at $22.
[00:08:59] I'll go 30 on it right now.
[00:09:01] I'll go 40 on it right now.
[00:09:06] I'll go 42 on it right now.
[00:09:09] Wow okay I'll go 45.
[00:09:12] I'll go 46.
[00:09:14] 50.
[00:09:16] I'm gonna let you guys have it I mean I know it's an amazing album I'd love to have it in my roster but Jim blow half of the budget on 50 51 Matt Kelly 55.
[00:09:26] Wow birthday boy come here.
[00:09:28] I don't know where he did get Venmo $50 before we started.
[00:09:32] I did yeah.
[00:09:33] Tony was bragging about his birthday Venmo's before we started.
[00:09:36] Yeah and this is a great use for it I mean just like the tick just like the title track from the album.
[00:09:41] I do it all for the the dookie.
[00:09:43] Everyone knows that song.
[00:09:47] It's just a classic.
[00:09:51] I'll go all in.
[00:09:53] Alright I really can't justify blowing that much of my budget on this album so I'm gonna tap out at 55.
[00:10:01] It's Tony.
[00:10:03] Let's anyone else want to go for it.
[00:10:05] So Tony's at 55 on dookie is anybody so Jim and Matt are out Matt Milligan.
[00:10:11] Are you in or out?
[00:10:13] Yeah I haven't said anything yet.
[00:10:15] I really thought I was gonna insert myself in there at some point but you've really taken it I think I have to be out.
[00:10:23] Okay I feel good about this I've never gone all in on a superstar so I'm gonna let the birthday boy have it sweet.
[00:10:31] I appreciate it.
[00:10:33] You know here's the thing Tony I came into this draft and in my mind I said I as long as I get green day dookie I'm happy.
[00:10:43] So I'm unhappy the rest of this but but it was here's the reason why I think that we one of the things we don't do enough when we do these drafts is actually you know give these albums their flowers beyond just the bidding like it was the song when I come around that made me realize that there was more to
[00:10:59] life than the motown that was in my parents car all the time.
[00:11:03] Would you say that they made you come around?
[00:11:05] It made me come around to music but I mean this was my first favorite band and this was my first favorite album like it was it was a pretty big album
[00:11:15] and it I mean most of I would say that almost every person on this call's life was in some way probably affected by here.
[00:11:23] Yeah.
[00:11:24] Kirk Plunker dookie from Green Day and being like oh this is music that exists.
[00:11:29] Can I give it a quick flower?
[00:11:31] Sure.
[00:11:32] The first song that I heard from dookie and kind of opened my ice Green Day was Longview and to be honest it was a song that as a young kid it was like it's all right to beat off.
[00:11:43] That's a hell of a flower to give it.
[00:11:48] I was also just going to say to Chris as a fellow bass player also a young bass player Longview was game change.
[00:11:54] Like that was like a life changing experience hearing a record like that.
[00:11:58] I had no idea you could play bass like that in a punk band.
[00:12:01] What about the most iconic 90s image at least to me is I think it's like a fish I photo of Billy Joe like holding a joint up to the camera.
[00:12:11] I remember seeing that and just being like equally completely horrified.
[00:12:15] The day looks cool.
[00:12:18] And let's just say for the sake you spent $55 on this you get the version of the album that has Ernie on the back of it.
[00:12:25] Oh yeah.
[00:12:26] That's only fair.
[00:12:28] You remember that it's Ernie Krautsurfing.
[00:12:30] Of course, I have that version.
[00:12:32] Yeah.
[00:12:33] It's a great version and last thing I'll say before I throw out my bid because I'm next in the order is like this is one of those albums where even yeah I mean
[00:12:40] it has those three or four massive singles but there's really not a bad track to be found on Duky like awesome.
[00:12:48] Like pull and teeth is one of my absolute favorite green day songs that song fucking rules yeah burn out is a great opener like there's just so much good.
[00:12:56] I love that.
[00:12:57] That is it's the seminal album that Kelly Chris with Falias $55 too much for him.
[00:13:03] Gotta let it go.
[00:13:04] I need your mind.
[00:13:05] I need your mind.
[00:13:06] Mine's just got it.
[00:13:08] Look, all right so I think that we all agreed that there were two albums that were going to be the first two.
[00:13:13] Yeah, they got caught out so I might as well go for that second one.
[00:13:16] I'll start the bidding at $25 for the self title Weezer album also known as the boy.
[00:13:22] Well, I might as well just go 50.
[00:13:26] Yes you should.
[00:13:29] Why beat around the bus here guys?
[00:13:31] Right.
[00:13:32] All right well I'm gonna go 51.
[00:13:35] I'll spend it on Weezer.
[00:13:37] I'll save it for Green Day but spend it on Weezer why not?
[00:13:40] I'll go 52.
[00:13:43] 53.
[00:13:44] I'll go 54.
[00:13:45] Let's match Tony with $55.
[00:13:48] Okay nice.
[00:13:50] So we're...
[00:13:52] Wow this is really the mark right now 55.
[00:13:58] I'll go 57.
[00:14:00] I'll go 60.
[00:14:03] Wow.
[00:14:04] There he is.
[00:14:06] I'm gonna bow it.
[00:14:07] I was gonna leave it at 57 for the Pittsburgh kid but here 60.
[00:14:11] Wow.
[00:14:12] So it's still not yet the highest ever that someone paid.
[00:14:17] I believe maybe that was a Ben Givert record of some kind.
[00:14:20] Yeah, one who's two Ben Giver records.
[00:14:24] Oh boy there's so many good albums this year.
[00:14:26] But is this...
[00:14:28] Geez.
[00:14:29] I was gonna say Chris if you go, I mean theoretically the capout on this is roughly,
[00:14:37] I want to say $80.
[00:14:39] Yeah well I think you can't go past.
[00:14:43] You can go past.
[00:14:45] You just won't be able to nominate that round.
[00:14:47] You need 17 left after round one.
[00:14:50] Fine, 61.
[00:14:53] I'm just throwing numbers out there.
[00:14:56] I'll go 61.
[00:14:57] Yeah, 62.
[00:14:59] Oh wow.
[00:15:02] I'm taking a look at my list right now.
[00:15:05] Seven Daytona, I'm just kidding.
[00:15:08] Obviously.
[00:15:09] Yeah Tony's officially is priced at check your memo, dude.
[00:15:12] See if you can afford it.
[00:15:14] I'm on a separate stream raising.
[00:15:17] I'm on Twitch.
[00:15:19] Please send me money.
[00:15:20] Yeah.
[00:15:21] What are we at?
[00:15:22] Are you at 62 right now?
[00:15:23] He's at $66 right now.
[00:15:26] Oh boy.
[00:15:28] So it's a real battle here.
[00:15:29] It's between a man who played a weezer blue album tribute before in his band
[00:15:35] and a guy who played every single song weezers ever released for an entire day on a live stream.
[00:15:40] That's how I know it.
[00:15:41] And there's also in a band that I assume sometimes people are like,
[00:15:47] oh weezer, I assume it's them.
[00:15:50] I love teenage dirtbag by weezers.
[00:15:53] Sometimes meaning every day.
[00:15:56] Oh you 63.
[00:15:59] Oh man wow.
[00:16:01] Bravo.
[00:16:02] I love these numbers.
[00:16:03] It's great.
[00:16:04] I'm glad you guys are out here, dude, and making it happen.
[00:16:06] Fine, 64.
[00:16:08] Wow, 64.
[00:16:10] Goddamn.
[00:16:11] And notice that Matt Kelly has been quiet too.
[00:16:14] I know.
[00:16:15] At this point as much as I love this album, I'm like, all right, let's just let one of these guys
[00:16:20] get to the point where in an opening bid I can block them from even putting in for the next record share.
[00:16:27] All right.
[00:16:28] Well, we know Tony's he's priced out.
[00:16:31] Matt's out.
[00:16:32] Jim, are you out?
[00:16:34] Yeah, I'm going to I just think there's too many great albums that we're going to be bidding on
[00:16:39] to blow the entire budget on this is hands down one of the very best albums of 1994 if not in the eternity of music.
[00:16:48] So I can understand why these numbers are so high, but we got to fill out a roster dog so I gotta keep that in the old wallet.
[00:16:54] All right, well.
[00:16:58] I'm going to let you have it.
[00:17:01] All right, that's 64 dollars.
[00:17:04] Not the highest anyone's ever paid for an album on here.
[00:17:07] Not the highest and that's why it's a steal.
[00:17:10] Yeah, but I think that's the highest anyone's going to go on this because probably like Jim said there's so many albums
[00:17:16] to like kind of block yourself out.
[00:17:18] You're down to $36.
[00:17:20] No regrets.
[00:17:21] All right.
[00:17:22] No regrets.
[00:17:23] This is all right.
[00:17:24] Well, Chris, you well, I guess we'll throw some flowers.
[00:17:26] I mean, the fact that we spent $64 on this album's plenty of flowers, but I mean, it's the blue album.
[00:17:32] If you're a listener, one hit thunder, you've listened to the blue album.
[00:17:35] I actually think looking at and there's going to be a couple others, especially as we enter some other genres that I'm seeing on my list here.
[00:17:41] But in the rock world, I think two albums that without a doubt are like game changing albums in music like before and after point,
[00:17:50] Duky and the blue album, I think both are like so seminal in like changing the course of like hundreds of other bands to follow them.
[00:17:58] And another one where there's not a bad track to be found on that album.
[00:18:02] Those are just 10 perfect songs.
[00:18:04] Well, is it my turn?
[00:18:06] Yeah.
[00:18:07] Yeah, it's your turn, Chris.
[00:18:08] What do you call it?
[00:18:09] So there's another album from this year that I think changed the face of music and it's why I didn't go higher on Weezer.
[00:18:18] And it was, I probably had 20 of their t-shirts in 1994.
[00:18:23] I knew it.
[00:18:24] I knew it.
[00:18:25] Here we go.
[00:18:26] I'll start at the minimum here $20 for the downward spiral from nine inch nails.
[00:18:31] I knew that was coming up.
[00:18:33] I got 25.
[00:18:35] 27.
[00:18:37] Well, I'm priced out.
[00:18:38] You're not priced out.
[00:18:41] Oh, yeah.
[00:18:42] Yeah, you are.
[00:18:43] I'm good.
[00:18:47] I'm good.
[00:18:48] I'm good.
[00:18:49] So it's up to Tony.
[00:18:50] Tony could maybe
[00:18:52] I could, but I won't.
[00:18:54] Okay.
[00:18:55] So it's between Jim and Chris on this.
[00:18:57] Okay.
[00:19:00] Chris, I know how much this album is to you.
[00:19:02] So I'm going to let you spend your $27 on it.
[00:19:05] Really?
[00:19:06] I just got this.
[00:19:07] Yeah.
[00:19:08] For 27 bucks.
[00:19:09] Oh my god.
[00:19:10] That's the steel.
[00:19:11] That's the steel.
[00:19:12] That's the best steel ever of one hit thunder draft histories.
[00:19:16] That's huge.
[00:19:17] And Chris, you're the most industrial guy officially in the draft.
[00:19:23] That's that's nothing to sneeze at.
[00:19:25] This is one of the most incredible albums ever made.
[00:19:30] No, I'm not disagreeing.
[00:19:32] But here's the thing.
[00:19:33] Similar to Jim, like I like this album, you love this album.
[00:19:38] You had more money.
[00:19:39] Would you have been in this course?
[00:19:41] Of course.
[00:19:42] Yeah.
[00:19:43] You would be right.
[00:19:44] I do completely.
[00:19:45] I actually think this is still the best nine inch nails record.
[00:19:49] Yeah.
[00:19:50] It's so, so, so, it doesn't have closer on it, which is now everyone like.
[00:19:53] Yes, it does.
[00:19:54] It's on it.
[00:19:55] A closer is on it.
[00:19:56] The only song that I think the only big song by them that's not on this is head like a whole.
[00:20:01] Oh.
[00:20:02] Because that's all pretty right.
[00:20:03] Right.
[00:20:04] But but it's got closer.
[00:20:05] It's got March of the pigs.
[00:20:06] March of the pigs.
[00:20:07] March of the pigs.
[00:20:08] It's got hurt on it.
[00:20:09] Yeah.
[00:20:10] You're getting hurt.
[00:20:11] It's just all just about.
[00:20:12] It's just about playing this album.
[00:20:14] It's a big man, big man with a gun.
[00:20:17] Yeah.
[00:20:18] Unbelievable album.
[00:20:19] Thanks guys.
[00:20:20] 27 bucks.
[00:20:21] I'll take it.
[00:20:22] Not bad.
[00:20:23] Let's go.
[00:20:24] All right.
[00:20:25] Jim, you get to throw a name out there.
[00:20:26] All right.
[00:20:27] Well, let's see.
[00:20:28] Looking at this list, I'll start the bidding for 20 bucks on Sound Garden.
[00:20:33] Super unknown.
[00:20:34] I'll go 21.
[00:20:37] I'll go 25.
[00:20:40] I'll go 26.
[00:20:41] I'm priced out again.
[00:20:42] Yeah, I think I'll tap out on this.
[00:20:45] I know Chris is in going for.
[00:20:46] For Sound Garden.
[00:20:47] So yeah, you got it for 26.
[00:20:49] Thank God that didn't go for more than the Doward spiral.
[00:20:52] Here's a thing.
[00:20:53] That's one that I love that album was one of the early albums for me.
[00:20:57] It's probably the best Sound Garden album.
[00:20:59] But I do think that there's a couple very long filler tracks throughout that.
[00:21:07] It's a long, it's like 17 tracks.
[00:21:09] I'm surprised you're such a Sound Garden guy, Jim.
[00:21:12] I didn't know.
[00:21:13] Uh, I mean, I like, I think Sound Garden is great.
[00:21:16] I think that's one of the top albums of 1994.
[00:21:19] I was playing a little strategy there.
[00:21:21] I thought we'd get a little higher.
[00:21:22] I wasn't going to waste all the top great albums.
[00:21:24] And I kind of got stuck with it.
[00:21:26] So we'll see if I can do it later.
[00:21:28] Jim, what you were doing.
[00:21:29] But I was trying to think like we can't have every amazing album from 1994 go in the first five
[00:21:34] and then we're like, let's fill the rest of it.
[00:21:35] Well, we got to spend 20 bucks on the first round.
[00:21:38] That's the problem.
[00:21:39] And Matt Milligan is in a real situation here where he has to pick a $20 album and not get stuck with it.
[00:21:46] I think I know one album that Matt Milligan would be willing to spend about $20 on
[00:21:53] that only one other person this chat would bid him for.
[00:21:57] I think I know the record you're referencing.
[00:22:00] And it's funny because I was going to not necessarily pick it yet.
[00:22:05] But actually, you know what?
[00:22:07] Let's do it.
[00:22:08] Why not?
[00:22:09] Why not?
[00:22:10] Yeah, now I'm going to pick a easily the least mainstream record that anyone has named so far.
[00:22:17] But a band that's very near and dear to my heart with what some would consider one of their best
[00:22:23] or certainly one of their most commercially successful records despite like I said not being commercial.
[00:22:28] Why am I doing a long intro?
[00:22:30] Ween, chocolate and cheese.
[00:22:31] Oh, boy.
[00:22:32] $20.
[00:22:33] Not even the one you were thinking about?
[00:22:35] No.
[00:22:36] You was thinking about me.
[00:22:38] I was thinking about you.
[00:22:39] It's 21.
[00:22:40] 21?
[00:22:41] Hang on.
[00:22:42] I need a quick amount of math on what I can afford.
[00:22:44] I think Chris actually already backs you out.
[00:22:49] Here's what I think.
[00:22:50] I think he should be able to bid.
[00:22:53] I just think if it comes to the round where you have to throw out a $10 album, you just don't get to nominate that round.
[00:22:59] I don't know.
[00:23:00] I feel like that's part of doing the money draft is being manageable with you.
[00:23:04] All right.
[00:23:05] I will accept the fact that in exchange for getting the Weezer album, I have just handed Chris Papalio's chocolate and cheese for $21.
[00:23:14] If that's what has happened to me then that's fine.
[00:23:16] I believe that's what has happened.
[00:23:18] Unless someone else wants chocolate and cheese, which is an amazing record and you should consider.
[00:23:22] I love to tell you this record guys.
[00:23:25] It's fantastic.
[00:23:26] Someone gets it.
[00:23:27] Technically, technically you would already backs yourself out just by starting at $20.
[00:23:32] I think I just realized that as well.
[00:23:34] That would have actually kept me completely, which is fine.
[00:23:37] So is anybody outbid 21 on chocolate and cheese?
[00:23:40] No, you got it.
[00:23:41] Yeah, man.
[00:23:42] That's another one you got to have here.
[00:23:43] I can't believe that was a first round album.
[00:23:46] But I love that album, that album.
[00:23:49] I knew you.
[00:23:50] It's so funny.
[00:23:51] I actually now don't even know what Matt Kelly was referencing.
[00:23:53] The funnest thing, the way you're entering a mic, yep, I nailed it.
[00:23:57] I know exactly what he's talking about.
[00:23:59] No one thought, no one saw Wayne chocolate and cheese coming.
[00:24:03] No, I love it.
[00:24:04] I love it.
[00:24:05] I can't wait until I throw this one out there.
[00:24:07] I'll wait until the $5 round.
[00:24:09] So I got two albums in the first round.
[00:24:12] I got downward spiral and chocolate and cheese, man.
[00:24:15] That's a 1994 duo that I love.
[00:24:19] Oh boy.
[00:24:20] Super sour.
[00:24:21] All right.
[00:24:22] Do either one of you want to throw some additional Ween flowers real quick before Tony throws out his first round too?
[00:24:26] Well, this album, I don't know if it's the best Ween album but it's probably the one that broke the most ground, I guess.
[00:24:35] The first one that had like real video content and like, you know, voodoo lady and roses are free
[00:24:40] and this stuff that started to like actually get played rubbed it.
[00:24:44] Yeah, yeah.
[00:24:45] And the cover that every kid has got to remember.
[00:24:47] Yeah.
[00:24:48] That's true.
[00:24:49] I love it.
[00:24:50] $10 round.
[00:24:51] Yeah, what's your $10 kickoff here for round two?
[00:24:54] Oh man.
[00:24:55] I'm going to go with another fave that probably could have been a first rounder but I had a post-revid in my room and that is
[00:25:03] the Beastie Boys' film communication.
[00:25:06] Oh.
[00:25:07] And I'm going to start at 10.
[00:25:09] 10?
[00:25:10] I'll go 15.
[00:25:11] I'll go 16.
[00:25:14] 17.
[00:25:15] 18.
[00:25:16] 19.
[00:25:17] 20.
[00:25:18] 22.
[00:25:19] Man.
[00:25:20] 23.
[00:25:21] 25.
[00:25:22] That Kelly needs an album.
[00:25:24] This is a good one.
[00:25:27] It is a good one.
[00:25:34] I think I'm probably going to tap out.
[00:25:38] Tony, are you tapping out too?
[00:25:40] I'm tapping out on my own suggestion here.
[00:25:43] All right.
[00:25:44] Anyone else?
[00:25:45] Going once.
[00:25:48] Going twice.
[00:25:50] Matt Kelly got himself an album.
[00:25:53] And Matt.
[00:25:55] And not in my favorite Beastie Boys album, honestly.
[00:25:57] But it's a very good Beastie Boys album.
[00:25:59] It's a really good one.
[00:26:01] And also, now that we've got the album out there, I can tell you the story of where
[00:26:06] that shit, if this is going to be that kind of party, I'm going to stick my
[00:26:08] Beastie Boys making with the freak, baby.
[00:26:11] Do you want to know the story behind that real quick?
[00:26:15] Sure.
[00:26:16] So that's saying it's a sample from Mantin Mordland, who is most famous for playing the black
[00:26:23] chauffeur in Charlie Chaplin's movies but he was a comedian in the 60s and he recorded a comedy
[00:26:28] album called That Ain't My Finger, which was released in 1965.
[00:26:32] Now I got to tell you, when you listen to like old comedy albums, a lot of times they don't
[00:26:37] age very well.
[00:26:38] You're like, why do people think this is funny?
[00:26:39] I listened to this comedy routine.
[00:26:41] This came from, I'm like, oh my god, that is incredibly funny.
[00:26:44] And basically the story behind that is he's telling this story of a French girl who's taking
[00:26:49] English lessons and she asks about the word fuck.
[00:26:53] And the teacher tells her it means to serve in English.
[00:26:57] And then she goes to the United States a couple weeks later and she gets invited to a party.
[00:27:02] And so the story veers off to a story about this guy who's like a foul mouth guy who gets
[00:27:08] invited to this nice party and his friends are like, yo, we're going in this party but you can't,
[00:27:13] you got to keep your mouth shut.
[00:27:15] You can't be cussing and stuff at this party.
[00:27:17] So he goes to this party and people are trying to talk to him.
[00:27:21] He just keeps it his mouth shut, not saying anything.
[00:27:24] And then this French girl walks past him and she's going to get the chicken in the kitchen
[00:27:31] and she stumbles over his feet.
[00:27:33] And the French girl says, excuse me, I'm going to the kitchen to fuck the chicken.
[00:27:38] His eyes light up and he says, shit if this is gonna be that kind of hard day,
[00:27:43] I'm gonna stick my dick into match with data.
[00:27:45] It was really, really funny.
[00:27:47] You should check it out on YouTube.
[00:27:49] It's a funny thing.
[00:27:50] Iconic album sound bite for sure.
[00:27:52] Yeah, yeah.
[00:27:53] I was going to say I'm pretty sure that that was part of there was a whole movement in the 60s and 70s
[00:27:58] where a lot of stand up comedy albums specifically for African American comedians are like literally record it in someone's house.
[00:28:05] Yes.
[00:28:06] Like they just like would have a show at a house and do the stand up there because just the way that crowd reacts,
[00:28:11] that is not a club reaction.
[00:28:13] It's so funny.
[00:28:14] It's funny.
[00:28:15] It's funny.
[00:28:16] Wait, the delivery is so funny.
[00:28:18] It's not flickspecial though would be so cringe in this.
[00:28:22] Yeah, yeah.
[00:28:25] Alright, let's talk about another album.
[00:28:28] I think this band has always been one of the most unfairly treated bands of the 90s.
[00:28:37] Records sales they were always great but the media always headed out for this group and with their second album
[00:28:42] they came out with something to prove and I think they ended up making their best record.
[00:28:46] So for $10 I'm starting with the Stone Temple Pilots purple.
[00:28:49] Good album.
[00:28:51] Yeah, I'll go 11.
[00:28:53] 12.
[00:28:54] Oh, we got to do it in 12.
[00:28:56] This is where I'm spending my grunge books.
[00:28:59] I think Jim technically got the 12 in first there toning so you're going to bring that on 13.
[00:29:03] I'll go to 13.
[00:29:04] Okay, I'll go to the 15.
[00:29:06] Oh, this is a good one.
[00:29:08] 16.
[00:29:09] This guy's, this has interstate love song on it.
[00:29:11] This is a sad scene.
[00:29:12] And Vaseline and it's got the track 3.
[00:29:16] I'm blanking on the name of it.
[00:29:18] Loungefly.
[00:29:19] Loungefly was the sound of MTV news throughout most of our childhood.
[00:29:23] Dude, that is the most 90s song title I've ever heard.
[00:29:26] Yeah, I'm going to go 20.
[00:29:28] I'm out.
[00:29:31] I'm out.
[00:29:33] Alright, you can have it for 20.
[00:29:35] Yes.
[00:29:36] This, this I do believe is their, their best album.
[00:29:42] Just like meat plows a great opening track.
[00:29:46] You've got, like you said, interstate love song in Vaseline.
[00:29:50] The song titles in this album are insane.
[00:29:52] But it's grown big empty.
[00:29:54] We may be talking about big empty again on this episode who knows but big empty is a huge track from there.
[00:30:02] But just a lot of good songs.
[00:30:04] I love, I love purple.
[00:30:05] Alright, Chris.
[00:30:06] Okay, I guess we might as well do it since you teed it up so, so well there Matt 10 bucks.
[00:30:12] I'll go the crow soundtrack.
[00:30:14] The crow soundtrack, the greatest soundtrack ever.
[00:30:17] 15 dollars.
[00:30:21] Oh.
[00:30:23] I'll go 16 for the crow soundtrack.
[00:30:25] We got that sick ass rage against the machine song on here.
[00:30:28] All the, the dead souls from nine inch nails.
[00:30:31] Man, it's like to run it down real quick.
[00:30:33] The, the cures don't double pilots.
[00:30:35] Nine inch nails rage against the machine.
[00:30:36] The violent fence.
[00:30:38] Rollins band helmet pantera.
[00:30:40] Three little kill cult Jesus and Mary chain.
[00:30:42] I mean, it's really the Rollins band song on that soundtrack is so good.
[00:30:47] The medicine, the medicine song on that album.
[00:30:50] The time baby.
[00:30:51] No, they don't have to take you away.
[00:30:54] I don't think I've ever heard another song by machines of loving grace, but I remember really liking that song on the crow soundtrack.
[00:31:01] It is that is the most, most goth soundtrack.
[00:31:05] It is, it is.
[00:31:07] I'm ready to put on my eyeliner the second I hear that thing.
[00:31:10] I mean, what are we at on it?
[00:31:12] I think you had the last bit.
[00:31:13] I'm at 16, I think.
[00:31:15] Yeah.
[00:31:16] Okay.
[00:31:17] Anybody going higher than 16 for the crow?
[00:31:21] I think I'm giving it to you.
[00:31:23] Well, you're not the only one in the running here.
[00:31:28] I'm just saying I'm tapping.
[00:31:29] I'm going to pass.
[00:31:30] Okay.
[00:31:31] I'm going to go up on out to 18.
[00:31:33] Tony's going up to 18 on the crow.
[00:31:35] Let me take a look at my list.
[00:31:37] Oh, there's some good ones.
[00:31:39] Do this soundtrack just makes me think of karate lessons and Yammer Jagger.
[00:31:48] That was really good.
[00:31:49] You sold, you sold me on it 19.
[00:31:51] Damn, I knew that would be used against me.
[00:31:54] Oh, I can't run a car.
[00:31:56] No higher.
[00:31:57] Do I have it?
[00:31:59] At 19.
[00:32:00] Go on once, go in twice.
[00:32:03] It's Chris.
[00:32:04] Wow, take it.
[00:32:05] Well, Chris, you have to three albums now.
[00:32:08] Downward spiral chocolate and cheese in the crow soundtrack.
[00:32:11] Are you kidding me?
[00:32:12] That's pretty good.
[00:32:13] That's pretty good.
[00:32:14] 33 bucks still to spend.
[00:32:17] I know.
[00:32:18] I'll have mine up.
[00:32:19] All right, I guess it's my nomination.
[00:32:20] Yeah.
[00:32:21] All right, so start in the $10 round.
[00:32:22] Why don't we do this?
[00:32:23] How about offspring?
[00:32:24] Smash.
[00:32:25] $10.
[00:32:26] Wow.
[00:32:27] It's waiting for the starting bid.
[00:32:28] $5.
[00:32:29] I knew Chris wasn't going to be part of this bidding.
[00:32:33] I'll go 12.
[00:32:35] I'll go 13.
[00:32:37] 14.
[00:32:38] 15.
[00:32:40] 16.
[00:32:42] 20.
[00:32:44] 22.
[00:32:46] 25.
[00:32:48] 26.
[00:32:50] The cheers.
[00:32:52] Thank you.
[00:32:53] I love that to be next.
[00:32:55] No, I understand that.
[00:32:56] Chris, you're trying to turn it into give it back.
[00:33:00] Are you sure you're not just clouded by the clouding?
[00:33:03] It's before they got really bad.
[00:33:07] Yes, I am clouded by what came after.
[00:33:09] That's what I was going to say.
[00:33:11] It was pretty flat for a white guy.
[00:33:13] Pretty much ruined a lot of offspring.
[00:33:15] But if we, you know, it's not time for a baby.
[00:33:17] That didn't make it.
[00:33:18] We didn't live in that just to be in future.
[00:33:20] Yeah, you're getting like bad habit.
[00:33:22] You're getting I love the opening track to that song.
[00:33:25] Nitro youth energy.
[00:33:26] Like I gotta get away.
[00:33:27] If you were playing Nintendo in the late night and then the
[00:33:30] just the CD just kept going and went into the weird like.
[00:33:33] Lounge thing.
[00:33:34] There's like a what was like a no sound of like an Arabian night's
[00:33:38] version of the single.
[00:33:41] Yeah, it's like the beginning of it.
[00:33:43] It was like well, yeah, I.
[00:33:44] Yeah, dad.
[00:33:45] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:33:46] Yeah, no, no, no, no, no.
[00:33:47] Self esteem was on that album.
[00:33:49] Self esteems on that kill boy power head cover is on there.
[00:33:52] Yeah.
[00:33:53] Even the title tracks.
[00:33:54] The title tracks smash fucking rules.
[00:33:56] Yeah, bad habit.
[00:33:57] I mean, how could you not get down on an album that said fuck in
[00:34:01] that tonight for?
[00:34:02] I think it was necessary to have to happen.
[00:34:06] It probably opened the door for a lot of good music and
[00:34:09] launching epitaph records and a lot of.
[00:34:12] I think I could be wrong, but this might still be the best
[00:34:16] selling independent release.
[00:34:18] I think it is.
[00:34:19] All time.
[00:34:20] I think it's like.
[00:34:21] Yeah.
[00:34:22] All right, Milligan $10 kickoff here $10 kickoff and I'm going
[00:34:26] with a different vibe than I think anything we've talked
[00:34:30] about so far.
[00:34:31] Another very established person a kind of later in career record.
[00:34:36] But also a big sort of return to form maybe I don't know.
[00:34:40] I think this is one of this person's best albums ever and it
[00:34:43] is the album Wild Flowers by Tom Petty.
[00:34:47] And I will start the bidding at $10.
[00:34:50] I'm out on the same.
[00:34:52] Glad it exists.
[00:34:53] I'm out on this one too.
[00:34:54] 12.
[00:34:55] Don't want it.
[00:34:56] Milligan at 12.
[00:34:57] 13.
[00:34:58] Mind us some of the songs.
[00:35:00] Wild Flowers.
[00:35:01] I mean, of course that song you don't know how it feels.
[00:35:03] You wreck me which is like one of my favorite songs ever.
[00:35:06] You wrecked me on this record.
[00:35:08] So I'm called Time to Move On.
[00:35:10] That's also really great.
[00:35:11] I mean, the whole thing to me this is just one of those like it has
[00:35:14] those singles on it but this is like an album album.
[00:35:17] Like this is like start to finish just a gorgeous, gorgeous record.
[00:35:20] Wow, you wrecked me.
[00:35:21] I would have thought that was earlier than that.
[00:35:23] No, no, no, no, no.
[00:35:24] That's what like this was a big like he's like kind of.
[00:35:27] I mean, I don't think he ever really had that much of a bad period.
[00:35:30] But you know, I my understanding is when this came out it was like a man this dude is back in action.
[00:35:35] All right, well Jim's at $13 right now on it.
[00:35:40] Jim's at 13.
[00:35:41] I really spent a lot of money on the blue.
[00:35:46] But after this, the world's basically your oyster.
[00:35:50] As long as you have seven bucks still in your bank, you're golden.
[00:35:53] Yeah.
[00:35:54] All right, you know what?
[00:35:55] Jim Jim's going to have it.
[00:35:58] All right, there you go.
[00:35:59] All right, I got three.
[00:36:01] Chris has three.
[00:36:02] Yeah, yeah, I got three.
[00:36:04] Jim, Jim, you have offspring, Tom Petty and what?
[00:36:08] Sound door here.
[00:36:09] I'll go down what everybody has.
[00:36:11] There we go.
[00:36:12] Tony has $45 left to spend.
[00:36:15] And right now all he's got is Green Day dukey.
[00:36:18] I've got $55 left to spend.
[00:36:21] I've got Beastie Boyzil Communication and Stunt Apple Pilot's Purple.
[00:36:25] Chris has $33 left to spend.
[00:36:28] He's got nine inch nails downward spiral, wean chocolate and cheese
[00:36:32] and the crow sound track.
[00:36:34] Jim's got $30 left to spend.
[00:36:36] He's got Sound Garden Super Unknown, offspring smash and Tom Petty wildflowers.
[00:36:41] Whoops.
[00:36:42] Matt Milligan's got $36 left to spend and all he has is the Weaservo.
[00:36:47] Sounds like me in high school.
[00:36:52] For anyone who didn't see it home, fireworks went off on Matt Milligan's screen.
[00:36:59] I love this new future we have you do to double thumbs up and fireworks going off with backgrounds.

[00:39:24] Tony kick us all around three five.
[00:39:30] All right, so I got I have the album so far that shaped like 80% of what I like about music to this day.
[00:39:39] I really want the following album which shaped a lot of what I like about music but also like my sense of humor going outwards which was
[00:39:49] I don't know if you guys consider this a comedy album.
[00:39:51] I do but it's back mellow gold and I'm going to start it at
[00:39:55] Oh, comedy out of the funniest as a kid the lyrics to this were so funny the samples were really funny.
[00:40:04] I don't think I differentiated music and comedy in this album at all.
[00:40:10] I used to I mean it has the lyrics get crazy with the cheese whiz in the first single.
[00:40:17] And then the next song talks about a giant dildo crushing this.
[00:40:22] I want it so bad I'm going to start at 10 and hope nobody.
[00:40:26] Nobody challenges me on that.
[00:40:29] Wow.
[00:40:30] I'm going to challenge you a little bit.
[00:40:33] I'm going to go for $12 on this so far just because like I think for a lot of people they're going to be like
[00:40:42] back mellow gold all that has is loser on it but it's like no there are some incredible songs on there.
[00:40:50] The truck driving neighbors down stairs sweet sunshine beer can't my favorite track on their soul suck a jerk like that song is fantastic
[00:41:01] and mother fucker like the so mother fucker is so good so I'm willing to put at least $12 on this.
[00:41:07] I'll go to 15.
[00:41:08] Alright, I'll let you have it.
[00:41:09] Thank you.
[00:41:10] I'm going to sit this out.
[00:41:13] I love this is a fantastic record.
[00:41:16] I love that you call it a comedy album.
[00:41:18] It's like EDM comedy.
[00:41:19] I mean, you're right.
[00:41:20] It is really funny but that just the the sheer idea of it really tickles me.
[00:41:24] That's so funny.
[00:41:25] That's great.
[00:41:26] Great.
[00:41:27] I got my favorite standup album all time.
[00:41:29] So close to be in mind.
[00:41:32] Alright, I'm going to I'm going to go with an album that.
[00:41:38] I mean the amount of hits that this one album created is impressive by any standard.
[00:41:46] It's not something I would start the bidding at $20 for it's not an album I would start the bidding for $10 for but $5 seems just right to kick this one off live with throwing copper.
[00:41:57] Two.
[00:41:58] I mean, the word placenta is sung on this album everybody.
[00:42:03] First and only time but I mean when you think about the hit this has selling the drama which was like.
[00:42:10] I feel like it was in like every single teen movie trailer that year there was all over you was on there is like
[00:42:18] is look any juice is look any no that's unfortunately the follow up album so I know you are firmly out.
[00:42:26] Alright, it's no one challenging me for this one just walking away with five bucks on on that seems like something Jim needs to add to his roster.
[00:42:32] Can I stack the roster over there?
[00:42:35] I'm going to pass on adding throwing copper into the mix.
[00:42:38] Can I throw some copper?
[00:42:41] Can I throw some quick copper?
[00:42:43] I don't think you'll remember this but it's a good story about live we played a show together in red line PA
[00:42:50] which is where the band live is from of course and there was like some girls at the show that like were bragging to me and PJ about
[00:42:59] like yeah well everyone knows like live is from here it's kind of like you know why we're such an iconic music town
[00:43:05] and I without thinking without thinking twice which is like yeah didn't they write a song called shit town.
[00:43:10] Red line PA.
[00:43:13] Yeah they did and she's like throwing copper.
[00:43:16] It's a complicated thing they have complicated feelings about the stomach yeah they wrote a song about you guys called it shit town.
[00:43:22] Sounds pretty complicated.
[00:43:24] That was the whole conversation but it was it also has the weirdest I've ever been in my life.
[00:43:30] I actually might be I might be talking myself out of spending the $5 on this but whatever it also has the song waitress
[00:43:37] where the chorus is just I need some change some fucking chain a range.
[00:43:42] I'd say it's yours Matt five bucks.
[00:43:45] Yep all right I think it's yours this was never that never really did it for me.
[00:43:50] No but I'm happy for you Matt well done there we go.
[00:43:53] Matt right now okay my $5 I have three albums already only two more to go which is going to be really hard for me to narrow down
[00:44:00] what I want here I'll just start depending on five dollars on pumpkin drug like from no effects.
[00:44:05] Hmm whoa.
[00:44:07] Seven or punk rock album.
[00:44:09] Six.
[00:44:11] Seven.
[00:44:12] I've got a 10 for that that's a game changer.
[00:44:15] That is also a game changer you just said 12 Chris yeah 13.
[00:44:20] 14 can't do it.
[00:44:22] I think I might also be tapped out.
[00:44:24] Wow Jim or Matt I was never big enough yes I'll take it 14 bucks for pumpkin drug like wow nice yeah
[00:44:33] no I love that record that was also definitely a very very big one for me yeah yeah for a long time I thought
[00:44:40] I thought it was their best record I don't know if I still think it's their absolute best but it's really good I still
[00:44:44] yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah what other ones would you say is intention I know I like so long things so long
[00:44:51] so long to choose I'm like a huge fan of that one I really like pump up the value one of the other albums
[00:44:57] for a little record pump up the value it's really really really good I like trash I'm white trash the other one I was going to say yeah yeah
[00:45:05] All right well Jim did you return to throw a $5 bid out there all right well I mean there's so many to choose from
[00:45:11] I know we're all going to get another one that we like I'm gonna add to my click to mix by putting the $5 bush 16 stone there
[00:45:18] you go that sounds perfect for Jim's lineup I want to say something about this album real quick because this probably of all
[00:45:25] of the albums I was blown away that this was a 1994 release like this feels like 1996 to me more than any
[00:45:35] other time definite 96 vibes yeah I'm going to at least say 10
[00:45:40] say 10 on this how about 12 you can have it at 12
[00:45:45] cool wait Tony your Matt still have a yeah no sorry this is not another one like and I know they're not the same at
[00:45:55] all but in my mind this is right there with live as like a band that just I was aware of but just this never spoke to me
[00:46:01] I would argue that bush is a way better than live ever was I mean this album this might be the
[00:46:11] album that produced the most massive singles out of any of the albums in 1994 but all of the
[00:46:19] singles were a year or two later because you had everything's then come down this is a machine head
[00:46:25] yeah listen to like it had like five sharp topping hits on its 12 track out of its 12 tracks which is pretty
[00:46:34] a lot of good impressive lot of guilty pleasures on this one but I don't think I really want to know that's
[00:46:40] all right not bad it's not bad I would pay for the video of him playing glissareen in the rain
[00:46:47] oh yes but awesome but I can't go too high on the whole album all right fair enough all right
[00:46:52] milligan you can you can throw a five dollar one out okay I'm gonna put out it's funny because no one has
[00:47:00] mentioned this yet and maybe this is just there's so many big rock out but we have not
[00:47:05] named any hip hop record yeah I'm gonna put five dollars on ready to die yeah by the
[00:47:16] Victoria's be I do that's a good one but I feel like I would be spending my last album just for
[00:47:22] juicy oh no I so you said you're starting this with five yeah it's a five I'll go to 10 I'll
[00:47:30] go to 10 on this I'll go to 11 I'll go to 15 wow 16 18 Kelly's boxing me out here
[00:47:43] um bullion yeah I mean you could go all the way up to 54 or 50 or sorry you could go up to 33 and then
[00:47:53] just do one dollar I know that but I don't want you to know that I listen I'm the one in charge
[00:47:58] money here I know wait what did you just say 18 18 yeah 20 I will tap out at 20 I feel good about that I
[00:48:08] want to be a New York guy to get it I wanted the king of New York to get it yeah I mean to to Chris's
[00:48:16] point though I mean juicy's great but you also get big pop up on there you get kick in the door
[00:48:22] oh no kick in the doors the next one but that has give me the loot yeah I mean that is a
[00:48:27] scariest song I have ever heard dude just the way he's just like mother fucking right
[00:48:33] but it's really got a time he's just like oh my god this guy's going to kill me that's
[00:48:38] long as impressive it's also one of those I mean people can look up the lyrics themselves one
[00:48:42] of those so intense that even the explicit version is edited yeah because the like remember
[00:48:48] that happened M&M back in the day two or even the explicit version this label was like we're
[00:48:52] not letting you say this like full stop like they had that too it is jarring to hear yeah M&M's
[00:48:58] was a little different because it was that he called out a lawyer by name and they're like we are
[00:49:02] muting that lawyers yeah no there's even some on on Marshall Mathers I think some of Kim is also
[00:49:09] yeah yeah even the explicit version yeah it's it's a rough one yeah I love that song I love that
[00:49:15] album I mean the closing tracks suicidal thoughts is like another really difficult song to listen
[00:49:21] I am I'm very very happy to be team weezer and Biggie right now yeah I mean if those are the
[00:49:27] only two albums you've got you're doing all right I've done it and you still got 16 bucks this
[00:49:32] thing now no no it's not your oyster now it's not all right Tony kick us off round four it's a
[00:49:38] dollar time you can start at a dollar well at the time of recording it is still a new year
[00:49:44] and I'm feeling like I'd like to be a bit more of a lad this year a little cheekier
[00:49:50] um and that's why I would like for three dollars to throw out oasis definitely maybe it's a great
[00:49:59] soundtrack for your football who ligand um and I'd like to have it in my collection I'm not going
[00:50:04] to be coming for this one you said three dollars yeah I'll go to four dollars this one doesn't
[00:50:10] really have the hits on it does it it doesn't but this is their story morning glory is the I don't
[00:50:15] know if it's a hot take I think this is the best oasis record top to bottom oh I mean that's the one
[00:50:21] it's a one for us true labs yeah yeah yeah I want this one for me in the fellow lads
[00:50:28] I'll go five all right well who am I to deny the lads
[00:50:35] all right that one was cheers that one that one was for Tony and the bloke's so good work there
[00:50:42] cheers I do they honestly though like for anyone listening including you guys like I think that is
[00:50:47] the best top to bottom oasis record in my mind I know what's the story morning glory gets all the
[00:50:51] all the attention because it has wonder wall on it and don't look back at anger but this is a great
[00:50:56] great great record I'm going to finally for my one dollar I'm going to throw out the one that I
[00:51:00] thought that Matt Milligan was talking about when he threw chocolate and she's out there um for one
[00:51:07] dollar starting bid soul coughing with Ruby room it is on my list uh that's funny Matt yeah you
[00:51:16] know it's I uh I was not sure if anyone was going to care about this and I feel forgot that I
[00:51:22] was the one yet you you're the one who's gonna care about this for one dot well I mean what
[00:51:26] how am I supposed to three dollars I'll go up to five six I'm gonna let you have it yes
[00:51:35] well you trust because you most of the cause you play bass for for the guy who runs the band I
[00:51:42] feel like I was gonna say I'm not uh you know I almost felt like I needed to recuse myself from
[00:51:47] that one I'm like too close to it I did I did a I did a retrospective tour playing that out of
[00:51:52] minutes entirety every night but that's what I felt about live here just too close to it too close
[00:51:59] no I get it I get it but but it all honestly I think I've brought this up multiple times on the show
[00:52:04] and I will continue to I think that's an album that a lot of people don't know like it's just not
[00:52:09] on their radar if they even know the band soul coughing they know like maybe super bonbon or circles
[00:52:16] but that album is one of the absolute most bizarre like Tom Watesy avant guard things that has ever
[00:52:24] come out where it's like jazz upright bass hip hop style samples and this weird stone doubt beat
[00:52:33] poetry all over it and it's it's the craziest album it's still probably one of the top five
[00:52:39] craziest albums I've ever listened to I am obviously biased but yeah no it's it's amazing such a
[00:52:44] such a good record sounds like nothing else yeah alright Chris man so I have an industrial album
[00:52:52] a weird alternative album a goth soundtrack and a punk rock album I feel like
[00:53:00] this is so hard but I'm gonna put this out there because I definitely love this and I don't know
[00:53:08] there might be some fellow bitters on this I'm gonna throw it out boys to men too
[00:53:14] I'll throw it out I'll start in a dollar I'll make love to you on Bended Knee water runs dry
[00:53:19] their cover of yesterday yeah I wouldn't mind having this in my collection I think this needs saved
[00:53:24] from oblivion yeah I'd go to three for that I'll go four I always forget every time we do these
[00:53:31] that Chris is you're such a soul man I love it you tell us that I'm like oh yeah it's great um
[00:53:39] I don't have enough I have I have like six dollars left total you have ten dollars left
[00:53:45] I have six dollars left according to my count oh wait no I'm wrong sorry ten dollars
[00:53:52] he's trying to be nice and say he doesn't want this boy's to ban album man I do think it's really good
[00:53:58] but no I don't want it you're right yeah do I get it for four I'd go up to five those are some
[00:54:05] strong hits great singers they seem like great guys yeah I'll go to six can I get a number crunch on
[00:54:12] my what I got what I got what I got 25 dollars to spend Chris has 19 I'll go up to seven
[00:54:22] um I'll go to ten
[00:54:28] I'll go to 12 that's my final I am a blown away you guys are going this I have this that's amazing
[00:54:35] I'll go to 13 it's Tony a man of his word is he tapin I'm tapping yeah all right but I'm glad
[00:54:44] we got I'm glad we got that one up that high I think yeah that's very respectable especially at
[00:54:48] this time in the game yeah I mean I just filled up my roster I will get to nominate another album
[00:54:54] and decide if I get it if I want to drop it because I have some money left but yeah okay
[00:54:59] all right Jim you got a dollar bid from you got a dollar bid let's see what feels like a good record
[00:55:08] to round off this eclectic list that I have yeah that's two years before oblivion right yeah this could
[00:55:15] be the closer for you so many good things that she's from and I guess in theory if I'm going to
[00:55:24] have some chance of like the list being the ones that you know we'll save him from oblivion or
[00:55:28] what I'm talking about I don't think it will be I know our Facebook group I don't think I don't
[00:55:34] think yours is gonna be saved but I'm good drop I have somebody wants to tug of my butt strings
[00:55:40] wants it I guess I'm gonna go with okay this is one this is this is one of the first CDs that I've
[00:55:45] got well started to mutton I love it or it's like so but it is a great album that I think is like
[00:55:52] indicative of a sound of 94 and something that sort of ends a test of time in a little bit of a
[00:55:57] way who'd be in the bloodfish crack review that one dollar yeah isn't that big I mean at the this
[00:56:06] is a great time if any to talk about the patreon whenever these episodes come out that weekend
[00:56:14] on the patreon christen i run down who had the most critically acclaimed list and who had
[00:56:20] the most financially successful list based on unit sold and I mean I think Jim has almost sealed
[00:56:29] the deal if he gets who'd be in the bloodfish he's definitely sealed the deal on the most financially
[00:56:34] successful list because this album I think it's still among like the 10 best selling records
[00:56:40] in the history of music if I remember correctly this was the best selling album of a best selling
[00:56:45] like CD release of all time for a little while or like first week sales it had some record that
[00:56:52] got beaten by like in sync a few years later when the boy band craze really took off but this has
[00:56:59] hits on it we're talking hold my hands letter cry only want to be with you kind of a forgotten hit
[00:57:05] for them now but time I which I think is probably the best of the singles in a lot of ways yeah
[00:57:11] all right one dog go five I'll go five dollars on hoody I'm gonna keep booty in the arsenal I'm
[00:57:16] gonna go to six this was the first CD I was ever given as a gift yeah I remember I got this
[00:57:22] as a birthday gift for sure I'm looking at the other options real quick because I got two slots here
[00:57:29] and I got a lot of money to spend you know what just just to be a dick I'm going to 15 on it
[00:57:35] I guess made it help I mean I don't know if anybody else if you're just not gonna bid just say you're not your
[00:57:48] out or whatever yeah that's the way we don't wait till somebody tries to sneak in and do something
[00:57:53] all right all right Matt it's me so I still need two albums yep Chris right now yeah where we need to
[00:58:03] I need one Chris's tapped out Jim needs one you need to I could theoretically still bid and drop
[00:58:08] one of the ones that we've done that before yeah you could have six and drop one yeah if you'd have
[00:58:14] to he only had six dollars for that bidding so gotcha I'm gonna do man like Chris was saying I have
[00:58:23] Weezer Blue album I have I have like an Indie Rock staple I have Biggie like a hip hop staple I
[00:58:28] have Soulcoffing which is like the weirdo like music snob staple I don't have
[00:58:39] I want something a little bit edgy you know what for one dollar what I think is an absolutely
[00:58:46] essential emo slash oh I knew this comment this would come up yeah sunny day real estate diary
[00:58:54] yeah I mean I'm out on out I'm out one dollar for sunny day real estate which means that's
[00:59:03] final album he has nine buck arenos to spend all right so I feel very very good about that that's
[00:59:10] a that's a big one for me all right Tony you're last your last one to throw out there
[00:59:17] my last one to throw out there um which I guess is worth noting here we should throw this
[00:59:23] out there because Tony only has three and the rest of us have four if he doesn't out bid one of
[00:59:29] us essentially he's just gonna be handed his no he can bet he can okay nominate that's how
[00:59:36] like a football one would work at the end he could yeah if we get there I've been saving my grunge
[00:59:42] bucks I think so I'm gonna go for Pearl Jam Vitality good I remember that was like the coolest looking
[00:59:48] CD set yeah um so yeah another big one I'm surprised I'd not come up yet yeah how much are you
[00:59:55] spent on that one I'll spend two dollars on it Tony I would also like to note that the first
[01:00:00] track on this album is the theme song to the Bill Simmons podcast a hundred percent that is
[01:00:06] that is very important and I always listen to it when I would listen to Simmons it'd be at like
[01:00:11] one and a half speed so which is a horrible way to hear yeah most people's voices but especially
[01:00:17] Bill Simmons um but the song sounds it's his quarter-roy right no that's no okay yeah yeah
[01:00:24] maybe spin the blacks or it's the first song it's a song goes let the ocean burn away my mask three days
[01:00:34] I know it's faster than that yeah at one and a half speed but I'll listen to this episode
[01:00:40] at that and then it'll it'll work itself out perfect yeah no that's last time last ex-self track
[01:00:46] um I mean you get better man you get quarter-roy you get one of the songs I loved on this album
[01:00:53] St. N's Bed you get bugs you get the you get the scariest song of all time scarier than anything on
[01:01:00] downward spiral the final track called hey Foxy mop hand o mama that's me which is very disturbing song
[01:01:06] uh bugs is it's pretty messed up too yeah bugs bugs as well I'm not gonna fight you on this one
[01:01:13] actually so I'm tapping out for the two dollars I'm out I'm out I'm out to all right all right
[01:01:21] it's yours for two that's a good one that's a good one good get all right so now
[01:01:26] this one last one I'm looking at a crazy pile of albums still in front of me and 35 dollars to
[01:01:35] spend and there's like there's the heart picks right there's there's the ones where I really like
[01:01:44] this album right but we're we're talking about an album that uh might get wiped off the face of
[01:01:51] the earth which is not ideal so I think I think I'm gonna try to spend most of my cash here
[01:02:00] and starting with $10 that knocks out Chris and Jim and me uh Chris and Matt actually
[01:02:08] has a Matt I'm gonna go for $10 the Nirvana MTV unplugged performance uh live in live in New York City
[01:02:16] you know Matt I really thought for a minute I was like is no one gonna say this yeah I mean this is
[01:02:23] probably you know if we were talking about how the crow was one of the best soundtracks of all time
[01:02:28] this is easily the best unplugged performance of all time but also probably one of the best live
[01:02:33] albums of all time uh just like Matt I'm gonna go ahead and disagree with you a little bit there is
[01:02:39] something called 10,000 maniacs unplugged uh I'm still gonna go with this one over 10,000
[01:02:45] on this one oh what did the 10,000 maniacs not do enough meat puppets covers on their unplugged
[01:02:51] they listen they picked the three best songs by the meat puppets cover meat puppets covers
[01:02:57] no one nobody should be doing three meat puppets covers it's a test in the meat puppet it's a
[01:03:02] testament to how wild this release is that Nirvana did this and three meat puppets covers in a row
[01:03:08] yeah alongside a bowie cover in a Vaseline sk I mean they really did not talk about zero fucks
[01:03:15] given like they just went for it and I think that's what I like about it that's what I like about
[01:03:21] we did a show like a charity show years ago where it was just local bands covering another band
[01:03:28] like this is the thing that happens all over the place and I remember team Goldie was on that show
[01:03:32] and team Goldie did a whole weasor set which was really fun but there's other bands who I won't name
[01:03:38] showed up and they did a Nirvana set and they played none of Nirvana's hits it was all deep cuts
[01:03:44] and I remember uh Matt DeSteffano standing next to me and he just goes you know if you paid
[01:03:49] money to see Nirvana Nirvana didn't play any of their hits that'd be really cool but paying
[01:03:53] money to see a Nirvana cover band not play any songs you know is very very pretentious so that's
[01:04:02] why I love this album $10 really Tony and Jim are the only people who could try to outbid this
[01:04:08] this album's great but I think it's mostly because of the sweater that Kurt lower it's all about
[01:04:14] that card again I'll sit it out I already got I got my grunge on for this draft so I'm good yeah
[01:04:22] I'll go with $11 why not okay after all that he's in I'll go 12 13 I'm just gonna go 19 so you can't buy
[01:04:33] that's the end of it okay yeah that officially boxed out that's good that was the bidding war
[01:04:39] that album deserved at least a little bit of it yeah Chris you're you're next now this is kind
[01:04:45] of either an album you'd be willing to drop something for or for the remaining people right we've
[01:04:51] got Tony Matt and Jim can go in on I can nominate this and then I could just instantly drop it if
[01:04:57] I get it for a dollar yeah yeah band there are three punk rock albums out there where I'm like damn
[01:05:06] and I don't even know which one to do I'm trying to think of which one Tony's gonna spend money on
[01:05:10] and I can see all three of them in my long list yeah you know I'm gonna throw this out here because
[01:05:15] I believe that Tony and I have talked about this particular song that's on this album I say the
[01:05:20] mighty mighty Boston's question the answers oh my god which of course of course this album has
[01:05:26] toxic toast kinder words pictures to prove it um I don't know throw it out there for a dollar
[01:05:33] that was not one of the three I was thinking of I think how many records came out that year yeah
[01:05:38] that's crazy uh yeah no I'm I'm out on that one I think this is the first CD I bought with my own
[01:05:45] hard earned paper route money um and listen to you in my now late friend Ryan's basement while
[01:05:53] playing shootin some pool um to quote Drake I will spend whatever on it I will I totally this
[01:06:03] wasn't new on my list but like I'm I am shaken to the core and I have to do my best and I will
[01:06:11] I'll pay five bucks for it realistically okay I'm out it's your it's yours unless someone else
[01:06:16] wants it no that's okay let the birthday boy have it for five down oh this is the first band I
[01:06:22] ever saw alive too boss stones and that's a good one too in middle school good one all right so
[01:06:28] Tony's got a full list I've got a full list Chris has a full list so this kind of worked out perfectly
[01:06:34] Jim and and Matt have their last two picks nice so I have one left right and Matt has one left is
[01:06:41] what you're saying or yeah you got okay you've got one slot I'm gonna fill out my wild ass list
[01:06:46] I'm gonna throw it out here I thought about this last time it went with hoodie but I'm gonna go with
[01:06:49] TLC crazy sexy cool that's a good one I thought about that one starts in a dollar that is a good
[01:06:55] one I almost it was funny I actually held off on boys to men because this was what I thought
[01:07:00] was gonna fill a similar spot on my list but now that I'm doing it for a dollar yeah I'm starting
[01:07:07] the dollar why not why not agreed oh boy do I want this is my last album or do I have one of
[01:07:16] these other because if I say no to this then I truly have my pick of the last record here I
[01:07:21] could just whatever I want well think about what you're what you what your next pick is that's not
[01:07:26] true I can be out there you're right I could actually be out there if we want to drop yeah that
[01:07:30] is true if I name just the greatest thing that someone with more money than me still sitting yeah and
[01:07:36] there is there's still at least two albums there's at least two albums that I think people on this
[01:07:43] would maybe drop something for I am going to pass on crazy sexy cool thank you I'll take it
[01:07:54] what a chicken Jim finally got a good album god damn Chris man I'll tell you we can have a little
[01:08:02] breakdown afterwards you're draft rookie man we got it I gotta I gotta give you a little bit of
[01:08:07] a hard time yeah that's right I mean I get real quick we're I guess we sped through some of
[01:08:13] these but yeah crazy sexy cool waterfalls creep red lights my special oh my god songs all right
[01:08:20] Milligan your final pick kind of whatever you really want but kind of whatever I want and I mean
[01:08:26] we're definitely gonna have to go through an honorable mentions oh around here because there's
[01:08:31] a bunch and I'm really like there's so many like incredible hip hop records to come out
[01:08:37] this year and I am being torn between picking an absolute hip hop classic but I already have ready
[01:08:44] to die so I think in terms of I gotta pick something else and I am going to pick I want the record
[01:08:53] to show that I know what hip hop classic you're thinking I put in my brain I'm in my brain I'm
[01:08:58] pretending you're talking about ICPs the ring best obviously no I'm gonna say I'm surprising myself
[01:09:12] a little bit with this but I think it's worth saving yeah I'm gonna say Jeff Buckley grace oh
[01:09:18] oh man which is a hugely important record for me I'm I it's I'm a little bit reluctant to
[01:09:26] save his version of hallelujah which has been overdone a million times like I feel like we could
[01:09:30] use a break from that in our lives but also it's worth worth saving really everybody here wants you
[01:09:37] that song oh my god yeah no that's that record is and last goodbye and I mean there's some amazing
[01:09:44] stuff on that album just incredible watch the name of this lover you shouldn't have come or whatever
[01:09:48] you should have come over yeah yeah lover you should have come over what a romantic album um yeah
[01:09:53] Chris this is just make me want to start right on for like 20 oh yeah I'll I'll put it at well
[01:09:59] I mean I only need to bid a dollar so I'm gonna bid a dollar okay I'm not gonna drop one of mine
[01:10:06] for that but that's a good one neither mine but it is a great album did that might be it I think
[01:10:12] great can I can I propose can I propose one more thing yeah before before we tap out here I'm
[01:10:20] gonna say this in this scenario we're in some sort of crazy vortex where we're grabbing whatever
[01:10:26] CDs we can get to run and and escape being obliterated with everything in 1994 I think on your
[01:10:35] way running out of the house you can grab one more and we do it in order this isn't a bidding
[01:10:40] thing we go it we go in order you can grab one more honorable mention on your way out uh
[01:10:46] and and stuff it in your back pocket but you got to do it quick you got five seconds
[01:10:52] Tony you're right Tony you're running Tony you're running five oh man okay
[01:10:56] four funniest album title of all time possibly and it ended up being your good album Frank
[01:11:01] Black teenager of the year okay you got Frank Black Matt Kelly you're running you're running
[01:11:07] what are you grabbing I'm running I'm running oh my god uh I am going to grab because I fucking
[01:11:12] love this album are you monster okay he got monster oh damn Jim Jim wanted to add another
[01:11:20] average album to his list all right Chris you're running I'm running I'm running I'm running down
[01:11:27] there's two punk albums sitting there I'm grabbing the one on the right I'm grabbing bad
[01:11:31] religion stranger than fiction bad really that was one of that you were talking about earlier yeah
[01:11:36] all right Jim the flames are flying around you what do you do lasers and flames whatever
[01:11:40] jazz album we're gonna grab
[01:11:44] loose traveler flow it's gonna be uh man I guess I'm gonna have to grab uh I'm gonna grab oh no
[01:11:54] there's sponge in the car I'm gonna grab totes rubber neck oh he did a good job was that was
[01:12:02] was actually what I was gonna grab instead of monster
[01:12:08] Matt Milligan hurry up jump through the portal what do you grab it all right I'm gonna grab uh yeah
[01:12:15] what I was talking about before I'm gonna grab the ill-matic okay yeah I thought that's what
[01:12:19] you're talking about I I would have grabbed still magic if it was if it was a few years later but
[01:12:23] so actually you know what I'm looking at in retrospect I'm thinking about this right now
[01:12:31] with the context that we set up and looking at Jim's list compared to a lot of our other lists
[01:12:39] if only the year 1994 is being rat like wiped off the planet all the bands on our list are fine
[01:12:47] except for the ones in Jim's Jim really saved a lot of the bands that only had 1994 is the
[01:12:53] year where people would care about them so oh I say yeah that's the same way look at it
[01:12:57] well yeah Jim was like oh man Bush in the totes need it thanks so much for saving Bush Jim
[01:13:06] let's talk for a second what albums have been obliterated I'll tell you one our rancids let's go
[01:13:12] as obliterated we will never know we will never know the song salvation well the other the other
[01:13:18] when you said that you were looking at three punk albums the other one I was thinking was lag
[01:13:22] wagon trash yeah that was that one could be obliterated it's all right I'll misknow it all but
[01:13:27] they had better albums later so I um one of the soundtracks that I had written down I was never
[01:13:33] ever gonna bid on this because it literally would have been for no one to bid against me I have always
[01:13:40] loved the clerk soundtrack I it's like a it's like a soundtrack that no one thinks about but I
[01:13:45] I really really like that is being oh no I think about that all the time Suzanne like it's like a 94
[01:13:50] grunge album that's just like perfect what else is obliterated Matt you probably have a list I have
[01:13:58] a pretty decent list do we want to just we'll just jump one album at a time just so we're out of
[01:14:03] things just cruise down the list of things that got up that's right so so the stuff that I wrote down
[01:14:08] I had Dave Matthews band under the table and dreamy well marching on it yeah um the first core
[01:14:14] album which this this like actually well no but this actually is like a weird this is like when
[01:14:20] there's like weird mendella effects because I don't think of corn as a 1994 band this album came out
[01:14:25] before the nirvana unplugged album was released which is really weird for me to process um
[01:14:32] portus head dummy was something I had written down I had that down to yeah yeah uh cranberries no
[01:14:38] need to argue with zombie was uh right there one of my favorite albums by Madonna Madonna bedtime
[01:14:44] stories came out this year uh cakes first album motor side of generosity of course sass Jordan rats
[01:14:55] guar this toilet earth featuring sadama gogo gone uh whole live through this with doll parts
[01:15:02] that's actually a pretty good album yeah that is a good album um another album for the lads
[01:15:07] and my favorite album by this band blur park life came out uh good one uh you know he could
[01:15:13] just be wiped off the planet in 2024 too and it's fine Marilyn Manson's first album
[01:15:17] portrait of american fan that is actually a good album that is a good yeah that's a really good
[01:15:22] album terrible man but good album um a great tribute album if I were a carpenter the carpenter
[01:15:29] tribute album of all grunge bands covering carpenter songs that is a really good one actually
[01:15:34] I know that one um sonic youth doing superstar is awesome uh baronnick it ladies one of their more
[01:15:39] underrated albums maybe you should drive and then the last one I never know how to pronounce this name
[01:15:45] it's the toad toad the wet sprocket album that has the painting of the two flowers on it
[01:15:51] take this is something yeah dulcinea dulcinea dulcinea yes those are the ones I had did anyone
[01:15:57] else have stuff that I didn't name uh in the punk rock world uh jawbreakers 24 hour revenge therapy
[01:16:03] right I consider that for a moment I love that record um uh also in the hip hop world uh the
[01:16:10] outcast southern playlist a catalogue cattle whatever that is if it was literally any other outcast
[01:16:15] album that like that's a good album but compared to like every album that came after it's it's
[01:16:21] kind of a weak entry yeah and also in the hip hop world uh digable planets blow out
[01:16:26] comb which isn't also like an amazing new york hip hop record um just for stuff that's important to
[01:16:31] me uh the album john henry by the might be giants one of their most underrated records but that is a
[01:16:36] great album of theirs yeah um uh pavements crooked rain crooked rain um guided by voices B
[01:16:45] thousands um in the sort of like indie punk rock worlds um what else do I have here uh that might
[01:16:52] be it for me yeah my whole list my whole list was either drafted or uh you know or said already
[01:17:02] all right cool cool except well I don't know I think they have but I might have eagles hell freezes
[01:17:06] over I don't really said that but I mean then I get over it on it I did love that song
[01:17:11] as a list uh an album on a list but yeah I could have saved it and I didn't so sorry sorry
[01:17:16] all right well well quick reminder to the people go to facebook and look up the oh ht podcast
[01:17:23] i think it's facebook dot com slash oh ht podcast or obviously just search one hit funder uh and
[01:17:28] vote who had the best yeah actually should we run down our list i don't think i know what yeah yeah
[01:17:33] so to any you got green day dukey you got green day dukey uh beck mellow gold oasis definitely maybe
[01:17:43] vitality from pearl jam and the boss tones question the answers and then on your way out of the story
[01:17:48] you also grab flank frank black teenager of the year uh I had bc boys zil communication stonetop
[01:17:54] pilots purple live throwing copper hoody and the blowfish cracked rear view nirvana unplugged
[01:18:00] and then on my way out i grabbed r e m's monster christie want to do yours quick
[01:18:05] all right I got nine ishtales the downward spiral i got wean's chocolate and cheese
[01:18:09] i got the crow sound track no effects is punk and drug like
[01:18:14] boys demand two and on my way out i grabbed bad religion stranger than fiction
[01:18:19] gym uh okay so i think i'm from ones where i remember what i got i got sound garden super
[01:18:26] unknown which i didn't necessarily want but i'm super proud of for having because it's got a lot
[01:18:30] of great chance on it if we want to go back down the list uh i got tom petty wildflowers
[01:18:36] which is you miss one offspring smash and i was gonna say that right so i didn't rise in order
[01:18:41] okay so the offspring smash great album lot of great memories for me and playing super mario
[01:18:46] card on the super Nintendo listening to that in the background then got tom petty wildflowers
[01:18:52] fantastic album matt said a lot of great positive words about it i bet tom was listening to and
[01:18:56] probably really appreciated hearing it's only true there's great james on there uh the fourth record was
[01:19:04] was oh bush 16 stone one of my favorites and a concert that i was gonna go to when i was a teenager
[01:19:11] my parents wouldn't let me go to it so all my friends got to go see bush and no doubt and uh
[01:19:17] whoever the hell else was with them and i didn't get to see it they talk about it all the time
[01:19:20] about how such a great show and i wasn't there because i wasn't allowed to go which is awful and then
[01:19:25] i rounded the basis with a tlc crazy sexy cool uh fantastic an album an album nettrish of my wife
[01:19:31] is gonna love that i took and had it to the list and that's gonna be great so thanks guys and then
[01:19:36] you grab the totes on the way out that's right the totes that's that's that's yeah and i uh spent a
[01:19:43] lot of money to get a copy of the blue album by weezer um then i got notorious bi g's ready to die
[01:19:50] ruby broom by soul coughing uh diary by sunny day real estate and grace by Jeff buckley and then on
[01:19:57] the way out i casually grabbed also one of the greatest hip hop records of all time ilmatic by not
[01:20:04] well that was our longest draft by a by a large margin but with this many great albums you know
