[00:02:41] So how this is going to work is that each Monday there will be a survey monkey link dropped in our Facebook page and on our Instagram.

[00:02:51] And you'll have until that Thursday afternoon to get your votes in.

[00:02:57] I'll tally all the votes on Thursday and then on Fridays, Chris and I will record a quick update on where the current standings are on this March Madness bracket.

[00:03:08] So the way that this worked we're doing a 32 song draft I pulled up 46 songs that were hit singles released in the year 1994.

[00:03:20] But set it to Chris Chris narrate it down to the 32 and I tried my best to put them in specific category brackets.

[00:03:28] We had a little bit more rock music than certain other categories so we got a little bit messy and a few of them but that's fine.

[00:03:34] We'll still survive this just understand that they're not perfect here.

[00:03:38] So the first quadrant we're going with is 1994 rock music.

[00:03:44] Okay. All right. So our first match up by the way, the matchups were just a random number generator when I figured out these brackets.

[00:03:50] Okay. So our first matchup to heavy hitters Chris we've got nine inch nails closer versus green day basket.

[00:03:58] Oh my god. That that could have been the finals.

[00:04:02] Yeah. Oh boy.

[00:04:05] Who do I think is going to win? Is that the question?

[00:04:08] I think it might go to green day but I think it's going to be a close fight. I think this is going to be a tight.

[00:04:13] Anybody's game here. Yeah, I think our audience is going to vote for green day.

[00:04:19] But okay.

[00:04:21] Geez. I wouldn't even I'd be so hard for me. I would probably lean closer but yeah, I think our audience is going to vote for green day.

[00:04:29] Our next match up in that category is offspring self esteem versus Nirvana's about a girl unplugged performance.

[00:04:37] Oh, that's another one Mike. If it was any other Nirvana song.

[00:04:42] Yeah.

[00:04:43] I could see Nirvana just easily taking this but I could maybe see our audience leaning offspring on this.

[00:04:51] I hope I'm wrong. I hope I think I kind of won about a girl to win this one.

[00:04:55] Me too.

[00:04:56] But I wouldn't be mad. I mean, I really do like the song self esteem by the offspring. It's a good song.

[00:05:01] But I think about a girl, especially that unplugged version of about a girl is just perfect.

[00:05:08] It's not as good as the puddle of mud cover of it obviously.

[00:05:14] All right. So here's here's a match up where I know what I think will win and it doesn't necessarily match what I think should win.

[00:05:24] We got Soundgarden black hole son versus the cranberry zombie.

[00:05:29] Black hole son's going to win.

[00:05:31] I know, but it shouldn't.

[00:05:33] Yeah.

[00:05:36] And here's another one where I kind of know what's going to win. But I think that people should not going to tell anyone how to vote.

[00:05:42] But really, really listen to both of these songs and give it give the other one a fight and chance here is weaser buddy Holly versus Stone Temple pilots interstate love song.

[00:05:51] That's actually a really hard one.

[00:05:53] Yeah.

[00:05:55] I think that our audience is going to lean weaser, but interstate love song is such a good song.

[00:06:02] It's a really good song.

[00:06:04] Oh, it's a really, really good song.

[00:06:07] So again, as we move to the second quadrant, I must repeat that we had a little bit more rock songs so they had to kind of find their way into other songs.

[00:06:16] So they were going to tentatively call this rap and other options.

[00:06:21] Okay.

[00:06:22] So the first match up is the Beastie boys sabotage versus Wu Tang clan cream.

[00:06:30] I kind of hope sabotage wins here just cream isn't my favorite Wu Tang song now sabotage is like a classic.

[00:06:40] Yes. Okay, so here's oh man, I didn't even realize this happened until till right now.

[00:06:45] This is cousin versus cousin.

[00:06:47] Oh wow.

[00:06:48] Snoop doggy dog gin and juice versus Warren G and Nate dogs regulate in my heart of hearts it should be regularly.

[00:06:56] Yeah, that is regulates the better song.

[00:06:59] Now here's where it gets a little weird.

[00:07:03] Dittorious B.I.G's juicy is up against that beloved rap song Oasis liver.

[00:07:10] Just please, please vote juicy here.

[00:07:15] I mean the songs okay but juicy such juicy is one of the best rap songs ever.

[00:07:20] Exactly.

[00:07:21] And then the next one this one at least is more rapish than Oasis and I actually kind of want the alternative song to win this one.

[00:07:30] Coolio fantastic voyage versus Beck loser.

[00:07:35] Yeah, I mean I obviously like Beck loser way better.

[00:07:39] I think maybe Beck loser has really has stood the test of time a little better.

[00:07:44] Yeah, I agree. I agree.

[00:07:46] Now the next category that we're entering into for the third quadrant is I'm calling songs from albums released in 1993.

[00:07:57] So the way that we did this was based on when the single was released.

[00:08:01] So a lot of the songs from 1994 single wise were from albums from the previous year.

[00:08:06] So quadrant number one, we've got Varukasal Seither versus counting Kroes Mr. Jones.

[00:08:12] Oh please Mr. Jones you gotta go Mr. Jones everybody.

[00:08:16] Here's one that I think could have been of finals round matchup that were getting very early on.

[00:08:24] But Lisa Loeb stay I miss you versus Mazze star fade into you.

[00:08:30] Oh, that's a really hard one.

[00:08:34] That's anyone's game right there.

[00:08:36] I might lean.

[00:08:37] I know that we've sung a lot of praise on Mazze star but I think I'm leaning Lisa Loeb on this one.

[00:08:45] I turn the radio up in this woman was singing my song like yeah.

[00:08:49] That's all I can sing that song from the first line to the last line like nonstop.
