ഒരിടത്ത് ഒരു നായ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവൻ മിടുക്കനായിരുന്നെങ്കിലും അവന് ഒരു കുഴപ്പമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു അവൻ മഹാ അത്യഗ്രഹിയായിരുന്നു. ഒരു ദിവസം അവന് വല്ലാതെ വിശന്നു. "വിശന്നിട്ട് വയ്യല്ലോ, എന്തെങ്കിലും കഴിക്കാൻ കിട്ടിയിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ..." നടന്ന് നടന്ന് അവൻ ഒരു കടയുടെ അടുത്തെത്തി. അപ്പോഴാണ് അവൻ അത് കണ്ടത്! താഴെ ഒരു എല്ലിൻ കഷ്ണം കിടക്കുന്നു
