[00:00:00] Welcome to Indian Market in Minutes from Motilal Oswal Research Dev. We will be covering technical and derivatives, SII's activity, index, actionable sectors and stocks to watch out. So stay tuned till the end. Hey, this is your host Shivangi Sarda and let's look at what happened globally.

[00:00:26] Market is expected to open flat due to a muted performance in the Asian markets following news that the US President plans to impose a 25% tariff on automobiles, pharmaceuticals and semiconductors. To start with our first segment for Wednesday, 19 February 2025, Nifty Index opened flattish but failed to hold its opening zones and dripped in the first couple of hours.

[00:00:51] It took a pause at 22,800 zones and witnessed recovery thereafter for the entire trading session. It recouped its intraday losses but failed to cross 23,000 psychological marks. It formed a small-bodied candle on the daily frame with longer lower shadow, indicating buying is intact at the support levels and it negated its lower highs-lower lows formation of the last two days.

[00:01:17] India Wix was down virtually by 0.37% to 15.6 zones. Nifty put-call ratio decreased to 0.84. Option data suggest a broader trading range in between 22,500 to 23,500 levels, while immediate range is in between 22,700 to 23,100 zones.

[00:01:40] Moving on to the second segment in the equity cash market, FIIs were net buyers to the tuner, 4,787 crores, while DIIs were buyers worth 3,072 crores. FII's index long-shot ratio marginally decreased to 15.9%.

[00:01:59] Going ahead with the index actionable, debatives data and price setup suggest if Nifty manages to cross and hold above the psychological 23,000 marks, then a bounce could be seen towards 23,250 zones, while support can be seen at 22,725.

[00:02:18] Till the time Bank Nifty holds below 49,350, some weakness could be seen here in this rate-sensitive index towards 48,500, while on the upside, hurdle can be seen at 49,500. And finally, talking about the sectors in stocks to watch out, positive setup can be seen in Zomato, Wipro, Techem, Barcharge Bonans, Barcharge Fincerf, HDFC Bank and JSW Steel.

[00:02:45] While some weakness could be seen in IDFC First Bank, Bank of Hiklia, Trend, Astral, Biocon and ABFRL. Wish you a super trading day ahead. Shimangi Sarada signing off. Follow this podcast for solid advice.
