[00:00:26] Market is expected to open weak due to a sharp decline in the global markets following concerns about a trade war after US President Donald Trump announced 25% tariff on goods from Mexico and Canada as well as a 10% levy on Chinese imports. To start with our first segment for Monday, 3rd Feb 2025, Nifty Index opened flattish above 23,500 zones and traded in a wider trading range of 300 points on the budget

[00:00:56] trading day. Despite the intraday recovery, momentum was lacking on the upper side as Nifty struggled to hold above 23,500 zones. It formed a small-bodied sort of a candle on the daily frame while bullish candle on the weekly frame which indicates some recovery from the lower zones. It has been making higher highs, higher lows on the daily frame from the last five trading sessions and supports are gradually shifting higher with recovery of around 850 points from its recent lows.

[00:01:24] India Wix was down by around 18.5% to 14.2 levels. Nifty put-call ratio slightly decreased to 0.87. Option data suggest a wider trading range in between 23,000 to 24,000 while immediate range is in between 23,200 to 23,800 levels.

[00:01:46] Moving on to the second segment in the equity cash market, FIIs were net sellers to the tune of 1,327 crores while DIIs were buyers worth 824 crores. FIIs' index long-shot ratio increased to 12%. Going ahead with the index actionable, derivatives data and price set-up suggest Nifty has to hold above 23,333 for the further buying interest towards 23,650 and 23,000.

[00:02:17] While on the downside, support exists at 23,100 levels. Bank Nifty has to hold above 49,250 for the next up move towards 50,250 while support can be seen at 49,000.

[00:02:32] And finally, talking about the sectors and stocks to watch out, positive set-up can be seen in DMART, SBI Cards, Havels, Jhupalin Foodwork, Godrid CP, Lodha, UBL, United Spirits, Maruti and TVS Motors.
