Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi resigned from PM Narendra Modi’s union cabinet on Wednesday. He served as the minister of minority affairs. Speculations are rife that Naqvi could be NDA’s candidate for the post of Vice President. His Rajya Sabha term is scheduled to end on 7th July 2022.
