[00:00:00] He's shown the face of raw extreme Hindutva. What Hinduism does he know? What Hinduism is he representing? And is this Hinduism? Is this what you want to be projecting as Hinduism to the world? I think it's time Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India does his favourite reel. I think this is the right time to do it. Talk to the nation condemning this.

[00:00:35] Namaskar. This man that you see on your screen, this man has actually shown the face of raw extreme right-wingism. He's shown the face of raw extreme Hindutva.

[00:00:59] And in some form he has uncovered what India could be in the future if we don't correct ourselves. Now let me tell you, I am not going to talk about this guy's name is Swatantra Bhardwaj, something of that sort. I am not going to talk about him much. He doesn't deserve much of publicity because that's possibly why he wants and that's possibly why he said all of this. It doesn't deserve much publicity and it doesn't deserve my editorial type.

[00:01:28] But what I want to talk about is this attitude and what this attitude can do to our institution and most importantly our democracy. You see, there are four institutional bodies that he has actually challenged. Think about it. The first institutional that he has challenged, institutional bodies that he has challenged are the legislature.

[00:01:57] He has said that this minister is his friend, he has said Kapil Mishra is his friend or brother or whatever. Chirag Paswan is his brother and he said Narendra Modi is his brother. He said all of these are his brothers. He said all of these are his brothers and you can see photographs he has posted in various social media with these people.

[00:02:20] You see, the fact that if my information is right, none of them have retracted, none of them have refuted, none of them have gone out and said that who the hell is this guy. At the end of the day I understand. You see anybody can go to a minister and click a photograph. A lot of us have got I'm sure a lot of us have got a lot of photographs with a lot of people. It is not necessary that everybody knows everybody. It is not necessary.

[00:02:47] So the fact remains that he standing next to a minister does not mean that he is related to that minister or he is friends with that minister or like he says his brothers, that ministers are his brothers. It doesn't mean all that. But the fact remains that what is irking me or what is actually of concern is the fact that none of these ministers have reacted saying that who the hell is this guy? Why is he talking about us? We don't know him. Nobody has said.

[00:03:16] Do I take that as tacit support? Tacitly supporting this guy, all these ministers? That's number one. I don't expect the prime minister to react and all that. I don't expect but at least ministers can react. At least Mr. Kapil Mishra can react. The first institution. Is this how our politics is working? We have seen lots of instances before. This is endorsing it more. And step by step it is becoming more dangerous.

[00:03:45] So my first point is this how our legislature is working. Institution 1, Institution 2. Institution 2 is police. Look at the way he mentions about police, talks about police. Again, I am not saying therefore that whatever he said is the truth. He doesn't deserve to be seen as an honest man or I mean I don't think he has any credibility as far as I am concerned.

[00:04:09] But the fact remains that he has said that. And that itself calls for an arrest. That itself calls for action against him. Delhi police is not a very passive police force. It is a very aggressive police force. Why don't we see aggression now? Doesn't that create doubts? You know, he is arrested and he jumps out of the door and runs away and nobody catches him. Secondly, he is kind of he says, you know, I was never in jail.

[00:04:37] I was roaming around. Nobody caught me. Nobody arrested me. I was thinking who is somebody is going to arrest. Whatever, whatever, whatever. He has alleged that, you know, Delhi police are his friends. He has alleged that he has taken. In fact, there are I think there are photographs. I think there are photographs. I don't know my production team. If there are they will put it up. There are photographs of him carrying a latte. So what? Why is he not arrested? Why is he not behind bars?

[00:05:01] Why is there no strict action? Shouldn't he be like I saw some cases in West Bengal? Shouldn't he be taken, dragged and taken to the police station? Shouldn't he be so that the country knows, the world knows that listen, we don't tolerate such nonsense? Shouldn't Delhi police be doing that? I'm asking a very layman question.

[00:05:21] Let me add a statement from Delhi police. Whereas you saw this same man talking in that interview saying that he has beaten up a person and there were 60 stitches by the way, 60 stitches that that man had to go through because the way he baited him with his kada and all that. But no, it's not somebody else saying it. He himself confessed it in this interview.

[00:05:42] And Delhi police says this on 23rd 6th, 2026 at Jantar Mantar during the CJP protest, Sri Sanjay Kumar, 38, a residence of Ghaziabad, sustained a head injury by kada, which is what he also said. Kada won by one of the alleged during a scuffle. He was medically examined by doctors of RML hospital and the injuries were opined to be simple in nature.

[00:06:07] This man says he went through 60 stitches. And here it says it's a simple injury. He suffered the injuries were made by kada and not by any weapon. The misinformation regarding the crack in the skull is not supported by facts, MLC, and it is completely baseless. On his statement, a case under relevant provision of the Bharatya Niyai Sahita was registered by the PS Parliament Street.

[00:06:34] That is Police Station Parliament Street. They were detained from the site and during the investigation, Suraj Kumar, 24, and this man who we saw beginning of this editorial, Swatantra Bharatwaj, 21, were served notices as per law and were interrogated. Due legal action has been taken and the charge sheet would be filed before the competent court soon. Any allegations of undue influence or interference in this matter is factually incorrect and baseless.

[00:07:03] They are saying that like this man said or what this man said that there was call from Kapil Mishra and all is baseless. Is what the Delhi Police is saying. The matter has been dealt with strictly in accordance to law and procedures. This is what the Delhi Police is saying. Look at what he is saying. Look at what the Delhi Police is saying. I don't know who is true, who is saying the truth, who is saying the, who is not. But look at the perception. That is where I am trying to tell you that this is what is harming our institution.

[00:07:32] The institution called the police force. I will give you another example. Indian Express exclusive says that Delhi Police says camera caught murder, rape accused at CJP protest somewhere actually in jail. So rape accused who are supposed to be in jail, they were seen in CJP protest. This is Indian Express 4th September. Tell me what credibility.

[00:07:58] Third institution law. The courts are silent about it. Nothing. All this happened. One person, he claims he has hit a person. He has broken his head. That person is from schedule cast. He was, he was, his head was broken. He has hit this person is casting slurs on schedule cast and Muslims. Shouldn't be the court now be Suomoto calling for some kind of action against him? Asking the legislature, asking the executive saying that what the hell are you guys doing? The should the judiciary be now calling out and saying what the hell?

[00:08:27] Get him inside. Get him put him behind bars. Wouldn't that be expected from judiciary? So the third institution that I'm kind of appalled is the judiciary. Why are they quiet? And lastly, the fourth institution, I will not call it fourth institution. I will call it the fourth pillar of the democracy. Media.

[00:08:50] What are we doing? What are we doing? First of all, there was a look at that interview of this, this fellow who he is some, some one lady is interviewing him. I'm appalled. Is she a journalist? She's interviewing this, this person and she's smiling. I'm not seeing the kind of reaction that I saw in Jantar Mantar when media houses were blaming those kids and blaming those protesters and blaming those people.

[00:09:19] I am not seeing all that reaction now in media. So shouldn't the media be reacting? Hasn't the media let people down? This is what's concerning me. This is what's concerning me.

[00:09:35] The second thing is, you see, what really happens is when you have people like this making such crude, such dangerous comments, comments that could not only divide India, it could divide Hinduism by the way. If people like him, when they make comment, there are a group of people who protects him, who defends him.

[00:10:05] And that makes it worse because imagine the world is watching us. If these people call themselves a nationalist, please understand the world is watching us. The RSS head, Sarasanga Chala had gone to United States and he said that you know if you're a Hindu and you think that you Muslims should not stay in India, you are not a Hindu.

[00:10:25] It is the Sarasanga Chala who said it. And this person is wanting to do a party, wanting to create a party called Mulla Mukt Bharat. Are you kidding me? And there are people go to your social media, go to your Twitter. There are people defending this man. What image is it creating of the country? You see, there are mad men. There are people who talk all, who talks like this all over the world and everywhere that I'm, that I'm not denying.

[00:10:53] But the fact is the society doesn't support such people. The society criticizes such people. Our, a lot of people are supporting him. A lot of people are defending him. A lot of people are, are, are blaming that girl whose father he made up. A lot of people are, are kind of, you know, going into war, the lottery. That's my problem. This is the wrong thing to do. And the fact that as a society, if he supports us thing, the world is going to look down on us.

[00:11:19] Please understand for your own sake, for your own future, do not support such acts. Even on social media, this man who claims to defend Hinduism, what Hinduism does he know? What Hinduism is he representing? And is this Hinduism, is this what you want to be projecting as Hinduism to the world? A religion that is seen as a very intelligent religion, a very tolerant religion. Is this what you want to project as?

[00:11:49] My God, what are we supporting? Who are we supporting? Finally, I think it's time Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, does his favourite reel. I think this is the right time to do it. Talk to the nation condemning this. Talk to the nation saying that such people should be punished. Talk to the nation saying that he guarantees this nation that such people will be punished.

[00:12:18] And talk to the nation that we don't need to be a nation who's scared of anything, who's scared of such extreme elements. This is the time he needs to come out. If he wants to win Gen Z, this is the best way to do it. Because people like him will only create more wedge between the youth and the country. They will only create more wedge. It is time that the Prime Minister comes and talks against these people.

[00:12:47] That's the point I wanted to make in this short editorial. Till I see you next time. That's tomorrow at 10. Namaskar.
