[00:00:00] Namaskar

[00:00:02] Welcome to another episode of Editorial

[00:00:07] Yesterday, the General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party, General Secretary

[00:00:12] Equivalent of KC Venu Gopal of Congress, General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party, Mr. Vinod Tawde

[00:00:21] Was booked by Election Commission

[00:00:24] You know why? Because the Election Commission has booked him

[00:00:28] Because there was an allegation on him for distributing money to voters

[00:00:34] Distributing bribe for votes

[00:00:37] That was the allegation

[00:00:40] Now that's not my editorial

[00:00:44] That's not my editorial

[00:00:46] Election Commission

[00:00:49] Booking the General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party

[00:00:56] That's my editorial

[00:00:58] Let's get right to the show

[00:01:04] Now the story is like this

[00:01:07] The General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party

[00:01:11] Technically, almost number 2, number 3 as far as protocol is concerned in Bharatiya Janata Party

[00:01:20] Vinod Tawde

[00:01:21] Came into a hotel in Virar

[00:01:24] Virar is a suburb of Mumbai

[00:01:27] Came into a hotel in Virar

[00:01:29] And whence he came into the hotel of Virar

[00:01:33] Bhaujan Vika Jagadi headed by Itendra Thakur

[00:01:37] You know, who used to be once upon a time

[00:01:39] This Bhaujan Vika Jagadi used to be once upon a time an ally of Bharatiya Janata Party

[00:01:44] They came and they surrounded the entire hotel

[00:01:51] They surrounded Vinod Tawde

[00:01:54] And they said that you are distributing cash

[00:01:58] And lo behold, there were cash in the bag

[00:02:01] And those cash were removed by the workers of Bhaujan Vika Jagadi

[00:02:06] You are seeing it on your screen

[00:02:08] And they started showing it

[00:02:10] And people started calling Mr. Tawde

[00:02:13] Chor, Chor, Chor and all of that

[00:02:15] So, it was allegedly said that Vinod Tawde was caught red handed bribing voters

[00:02:27] Giving money to voters for votes of course

[00:02:33] Some people say the amount was 15 crores that he was carrying in his bags

[00:02:38] Some people say the amount was 5 crores

[00:02:41] Police says we recovered 10 lakhs

[00:02:44] What figure is it? We don't know

[00:02:46] Vinod Tawde says the bag is not mine at all

[00:02:51] Let's see what Vinod Tawde said first

[00:02:53] Let's go with that before we get into further

[00:02:57] Vinod Tawde said that I had stopped on my way to discuss about polling process and code of conduct with our candidates

[00:03:05] I had a brief meeting with the candidate and was about to leave when the BVA that is Bhaujan Vikaas Agadi workers came

[00:03:15] They thought I was distributing money

[00:03:17] EC personnel came and they checked my vehicle

[00:03:21] They did not find anything

[00:03:23] Let there be investigation in the allegations they are making

[00:03:26] I have been in politics for 40 years and Hitendra Thakur and Shitis Thakur have known me for years

[00:03:34] They were under impression that I was coming here for distributing of money

[00:03:38] However, I demand an impartial probe into this

[00:03:43] He said Baba

[00:03:44] I had come to see the code of conduct

[00:03:49] Hitendra Thakur and his people felt that I was coming here to distribute cash

[00:03:54] And

[00:03:54] They know me for so long. How can they think like that?

[00:03:58] I have never been doing this and let there be an

[00:04:01] Let there be an inquiry

[00:04:03] Achha, Hitendra Thakur said something completely different

[00:04:07] He said I was told by BJP workers

[00:04:12] I repeat I was told said Hitendra Thakur by BJP workers

[00:04:17] That Vinod Tawde was coming with 5 crores of rupees

[00:04:21] I came with my supporters

[00:04:23] We had found a dairy with nothing

[00:04:26] The police and the election commission must act

[00:04:29] The CCTV network of the hotel was also shut and started much after I arrived

[00:04:36] I feel the hotel management is also involved in the action

[00:04:40] And action must be taken against them

[00:04:42] So he says you know who told me that Mr. Thakur is the general secretary

[00:04:47] I am repeating general secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party has come there with money

[00:04:50] Bharatiya Janata Party workers told me that he has come there with money

[00:04:54] Number 1

[00:04:56] Number 2

[00:04:57] He says listen, you know what

[00:05:00] The hotel cameras, CCTVs were shut

[00:05:03] Why were the CCTVs shut?

[00:05:05] If everything was kosher, why was the CCTV shut?

[00:05:08] Which means he says that even the hotel people are involved

[00:05:12] Which means it was all planned that he will come and deliver money

[00:05:16] This is what Hitendra Takur said

[00:05:21] Now

[00:05:22] A few points that I want to get to your notice

[00:05:26] You see

[00:05:28] Immediately after Vinod Tawde coming in

[00:05:31] And

[00:05:32] Immediately these people gave him

[00:05:34] Which means the tip was given to these people far before Vinod Tawde walked in

[00:05:38] And in minutes

[00:05:41] In minutes

[00:05:42] In minutes

[00:05:43] There were

[00:05:45] Television channels

[00:05:47] covering the event

[00:05:48] In minutes

[00:05:49] Virar mind you

[00:05:51] Is the outskirts of Mumbai

[00:05:54] Outskirts

[00:05:55] Quite far away

[00:05:56] From most of the television channel studios

[00:05:59] So

[00:06:00] Television channels appearing there in minutes

[00:06:03] Sounds

[00:06:04] Sounds

[00:06:04] A little strange to me

[00:06:07] Obi-Wan

[00:06:09] Possibly there

[00:06:10] In minutes

[00:06:11] Sounds

[00:06:12] A little strange to me

[00:06:14] Reporters

[00:06:15] With a

[00:06:16] Boom mic

[00:06:17] Ready

[00:06:18] To capture whatever is happening there

[00:06:21] Sounds a little strange to me

[00:06:23] I can understand social media

[00:06:25] I can understand people recording

[00:06:27] With their mobile phones and all of that

[00:06:29] That I can understand

[00:06:30] But

[00:06:30] Media with proper boom mic and already

[00:06:33] They

[00:06:35] What?

[00:06:36] They were camping in Virar

[00:06:38] Because what?

[00:06:39] Vinod Tawde was coming there?

[00:06:40] Vinod Tawde is not such a big leader

[00:06:42] That Vinod Tawde

[00:06:43] There will be people waiting for him outside

[00:06:45] And he was not supposed to do any press conference or rally

[00:06:47] Or anything there

[00:06:48] He was supposed to

[00:06:49] According to him he was supposed to meet

[00:06:50] So how come the press came to know about it?

[00:06:54] And

[00:06:55] Why do I believe that

[00:06:57] Bharatiya Janata Party workers have gave a tip to

[00:07:00] Hitendra Thakurish?

[00:07:01] Because

[00:07:02] Who else would otherwise know

[00:07:05] The itinerary of their leaders

[00:07:06] Better than their own workers?

[00:07:09] So all of a sudden

[00:07:11] All of this

[00:07:12] Kind of looks

[00:07:13] Quite

[00:07:15] Well scripted

[00:07:17] Quite well scripted

[00:07:19] Now

[00:07:21] A lot of people say

[00:07:22] Are Baba

[00:07:23] Correct hai

[00:07:25] Sanjay Raut went out to say

[00:07:26] A top leader of Bharatiya Janata Party

[00:07:29] Conspired to leak information about Vinod Tawde

[00:07:31] The home department kept an eye on Tawde

[00:07:34] Tawde belongs to Bahujan Samaj

[00:07:36] And to end the future challenge from him

[00:07:40] Top BJP leader

[00:07:42] Conspired against him

[00:07:43] The top BJP leader that Sanjay Raut is referring to

[00:07:46] Possibly is Mr.

[00:07:47] Devendra Fandavis

[00:07:48] That is what Mr. Sanjay Raut is referring to

[00:07:50] Top BJP leader

[00:07:52] And what he is saying is

[00:07:53] Bahujan Samaj

[00:07:54] That means normal

[00:07:55] I mean people who are not Brahmins

[00:07:57] So just because he is a Maratha

[00:07:59] And the top leader that is Devendra Fandavis

[00:08:01] Is a Brahmin

[00:08:02] So therefore this is what Sanjay Raut says

[00:08:05] He is an opposition leader

[00:08:06] His job is to criticize

[00:08:07] So he is criticizing but

[00:08:10] But the fact remains that

[00:08:13] The tip was definitely given

[00:08:14] The fact remains that

[00:08:16] Hitendra Takur himself said that

[00:08:18] Bharatiya Janata Party people have given the tip

[00:08:21] And the fact remains

[00:08:23] That somewhere down the line

[00:08:24] It was not just a tip

[00:08:25] It was a trap

[00:08:27] A trap to possibly

[00:08:31] Finish of

[00:08:33] Vinod Tawde's career

[00:08:34] Finish of Vinod Tawde's career

[00:08:36] Finish of Vinod Tawde's name

[00:08:38] Finish of Vinod Tawde's image

[00:08:40] 40 years of political image

[00:08:43] That was the trap

[00:08:46] Now

[00:08:50] Let's keep this story aside for a minute

[00:08:53] I will come back to it

[00:08:55] Now

[00:08:56] Everything is not very well

[00:08:59] With Bharatiya Janata Party

[00:09:01] Everything is not well

[00:09:03] You see there was an ad

[00:09:05] That Bharatiya Janata Party

[00:09:06] Released yesterday

[00:09:08] This was yesterday's ad

[00:09:10] That is there on your screen

[00:09:12] If you notice this ad

[00:09:14] Please notice this ad very carefully

[00:09:15] You have

[00:09:16] Nadda, you have

[00:09:18] Eknash Inde, Gadkari, Ajit Pawar, Bavankule, Athavale

[00:09:24] Everybody there

[00:09:25] Including Ashish Shailar

[00:09:27] And

[00:09:30] Chandrakhan Patil and all of them

[00:09:31] All those photographs just watch

[00:09:33] And then you have the Prime Minister

[00:09:36] And Mr. Devendra Fartnavez

[00:09:39] Where is Amishya in all of this?

[00:09:42] Why is his photo not there?

[00:09:44] Ah

[00:09:45] You may say that

[00:09:46] Possibly

[00:09:50] Amishya

[00:09:50] That is too much isn't it?

[00:09:53] But let's go

[00:09:54] Let us

[00:09:55] See

[00:09:58] You see

[00:10:00] Let's assume

[00:10:01] Let's go

[00:10:01] Amishya omit

[00:10:03] Amishya

[00:10:03] Again there is an ad

[00:10:06] In all major newspapers

[00:10:08] The second day

[00:10:09] And the second day with a different layout

[00:10:11] It is not the same layout

[00:10:13] So it is not the repeat of the same ad

[00:10:15] There is a second day

[00:10:17] There is a different layout

[00:10:17] And in this layout too

[00:10:20] All the faces that I mentioned are there

[00:10:22] But where is Amishya?

[00:10:26] How come Amishya is missing?

[00:10:28] I can understand Yogi Adityanath is missing

[00:10:30] I can understand

[00:10:31] Technically speaking you shouldn't

[00:10:33] Because if he is your star campaigner

[00:10:34] His face should also be there

[00:10:35] He should be there

[00:10:37] Technically speaking

[00:10:39] You didn't take his photograph

[00:10:43] But where is Amishya?

[00:10:46] Now this is a question we need to

[00:10:48] We need to dwell on

[00:10:49] You know why we need to dwell on?

[00:10:51] I am going to show you a Shiva Sena

[00:10:53] That is Eknath Shinde headed Shiva Sena's ad

[00:10:55] Look at Eknath Shinde's headed Shiva Sena ad

[00:11:00] In this particular ad

[00:11:01] Mind you the size of Amishya's photograph

[00:11:05] is as big as the size of late Anandige's photograph

[00:11:09] who Mr. Eknath Shinde reversed

[00:11:14] So Amishya has been given a very prominent position in a Shiva Sena Eknath Shinde ad

[00:11:21] But that same Amishya who belongs to BJP is not given a space in BJP ad

[00:11:28] Do you see a problem here?

[00:11:31] Do you see a problem or it is just me?

[00:11:33] Do you see a problem here?

[00:11:35] Which means that somewhere down the line

[00:11:39] Amishya is not made part of the Bharatiya Janata Party campaign in Maharashtra

[00:11:48] In fact, some of Amishya's rallies were cancelled

[00:11:54] Of course it was said that he had to go to Manipur

[00:11:56] Manipur was more important than all of that

[00:11:58] But Amishya's rally was cancelled

[00:12:00] Knowing Bharatiya Janata Party

[00:12:04] I wonder whether Bharatiya Janata Party

[00:12:06] Would cancel a star campaigners rally in a vote bound region

[00:12:15] To sort a governmental problem

[00:12:17] I am not very sure whether they would do it

[00:12:20] But this time they did it

[00:12:22] That is what they say

[00:12:23] So Amishya's rally was cancelled

[00:12:25] Amishya's photograph does not appear in Bharatiya Janata Party's ad

[00:12:29] But Amishya's photograph appears in

[00:12:32] Ekna Shinde Shiv Sena's ad

[00:12:33] Prominently appears

[00:12:36] Thicken

[00:12:37] Point number 2

[00:12:38] Side ma rakthay

[00:12:39] Point number 3

[00:12:41] You see point number 3 we go back to 2014

[00:12:46] 2014 me

[00:12:48] We need to understand that

[00:12:50] Bharatiya Janata Party was not a very prominent party before 2014

[00:12:54] Before 2014, Bharatiya Janata Party was not a very prominent party in Maharashtra

[00:12:59] Shiv Sena was the leader

[00:13:00] Shiv Sena was the big brother

[00:13:03] Bharatiya Janata Party was dominating in Lok Sabha

[00:13:07] Parliamentary elections

[00:13:08] Shiv Sena used to dominate the assembly elections

[00:13:11] Everything changed

[00:13:12] The Modi wave happened

[00:13:14] When the Modi wave happened Bharatiya Janata Party said

[00:13:17] Why should we give you all the seats?

[00:13:20] We are the big brother

[00:13:21] We know there are no big brother, small brother and all

[00:13:23] We will fight with more seats

[00:13:25] Because Modi is not a lot

[00:13:26] Modi wave is there

[00:13:27] Finally, Shiv Sena and Bharatiya Janata Party split for the first time in 2014

[00:13:33] They fought elections separately

[00:13:36] And Bharatiya Janata Party I guess got something like 125 seats

[00:13:42] Now

[00:13:43] What really happened then is

[00:13:47] Bharatiya Janata Party

[00:13:50] The four leaders were one

[00:13:58] The oldest Bharatiya Janata Party worker of Maharashtra

[00:14:04] Most seasoned, most experienced, the oldest Bharatiya Janata Party worker

[00:14:11] Second was Vinod Tawde

[00:14:14] Vinod Tawde

[00:14:16] Also was a seasoned Bharatiya Janata Party

[00:14:19] Seasoned Bharatiya Janata Party leader of Maharashtra

[00:14:23] Like he himself said, 40 years of service to Bharatiya Janata Party

[00:14:28] Second was Vinod Tawde

[00:14:31] Third was Pankaja Munde

[00:14:34] Pankaja Munde

[00:14:35] Pankaja Munde was the daughter of one of the tallest leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party

[00:14:40] Not only in Maharashtra

[00:14:42] But in India that was Gopinath Munde

[00:14:45] Tallest leader's daughter

[00:14:47] And Gopinath Munde had just passed away at that point in time

[00:14:51] So Gopinath Munde's daughter

[00:14:54] Pankaja Munde

[00:14:55] The third possible candidate

[00:14:57] And the fourth face was Devendra Padnavis

[00:15:00] Devendra Padnavis was this young, dynamic character

[00:15:03] Who was raring to go

[00:15:05] Who had a lot of ambition

[00:15:06] And he was the fourth candidate

[00:15:08] Now the four pictures are in front of you

[00:15:11] Now let us look what happened to Eknath Karse

[00:15:14] Eknath Karse was given a portfolio

[00:15:15] When the government was formed

[00:15:18] The Bharatiya Janata Party government was formed in Maharashtra

[00:15:21] He was given a portfolio

[00:15:22] Later on he was sidelined

[00:15:24] To the extent where he went and joined NCP

[00:15:27] One man gone

[00:15:30] Second was Vinod Tawde

[00:15:32] Vinod Tawde also was given a portfolio

[00:15:34] But somewhere down the line

[00:15:36] Completely, completely sidelined from a party

[00:15:40] Completely sidelined from the party

[00:15:41] A person who used to be one of the senior leaders of Maharashtra

[00:15:45] Was almost forgotten

[00:15:47] Between 2014 to almost 2020

[00:15:51] Almost forgotten

[00:15:52] Almost forgot

[00:15:54] The third picture that you see is

[00:15:57] Pankaja Munde

[00:15:59] Pankaja Munde was also given a portfolio

[00:16:02] She got into

[00:16:04] A alleged scam

[00:16:05] Which is a cheeky scam

[00:16:07] She got into involved in that cheeky scam

[00:16:09] And slowly but steadily

[00:16:12] Even she was sidelined

[00:16:14] Even Pankaja Munde got sidelined

[00:16:18] Who remains

[00:16:20] Devendra Pandaves

[00:16:21] Devendra Pandaves

[00:16:23] Became the undisputed leader of Maharashtra

[00:16:27] This is what happened between 2014 to 2023

[00:16:33] Come 2023

[00:16:35] Come 2023

[00:16:36] Closer to the 2024 elections

[00:16:39] Each of these people started getting boosted

[00:16:46] The centre started boosting

[00:16:49] These people

[00:16:51] Pankaja Munde

[00:16:52] Pankaja Munde

[00:16:53] Though she lost the

[00:16:54] Lok Sabha election

[00:16:55] She got an MLC seat

[00:16:58] Eknath Kharse

[00:16:59] Left NCP to join BJP

[00:17:01] Though he did end up joining BJP

[00:17:03] But he left NCP to join BJP

[00:17:05] His daughter was given a position in BJP

[00:17:07] So BJP rewarded him

[00:17:10] Vinod Tawde

[00:17:11] Was one person that

[00:17:13] Central BJP

[00:17:14] Actually pushed up

[00:17:17] Made a general secretary

[00:17:19] And he was given

[00:17:20] A very important portfolio

[00:17:22] Of getting

[00:17:23] People from different parties into

[00:17:25] That is what is said

[00:17:27] That was his job which he did fairly well

[00:17:30] Between 2023 and 2024

[00:17:32] Especially in 2024

[00:17:33] He did fairly well

[00:17:36] Now this was what happened

[00:17:40] Which means every person who got sidelined

[00:17:43] During the

[00:17:45] Devendra Farnami's era

[00:17:47] Was pulled back

[00:17:49] Pushed up

[00:17:51] Re-introduced to the

[00:17:54] Top fold of Bharatiya Chanta party

[00:17:59] But after all of that

[00:18:01] Yet Eknath Kharse

[00:18:03] Though his daughter got

[00:18:05] Portfolio, his daughter got seats

[00:18:06] His daughter got

[00:18:08] Bharatiya Chanta party

[00:18:09] Got her into the parliament

[00:18:10] But Eknath Kharse was not allowed to grow

[00:18:13] Even after the centre

[00:18:14] Being quite kind to him

[00:18:17] And quite receptive to him joining the party

[00:18:21] Pankaja Mundey was still not happy

[00:18:23] With the way things are

[00:18:25] In fact, she was quite sure that

[00:18:27] It is her own people

[00:18:29] Who didn't help her win

[00:18:31] Her Lok Sabha election

[00:18:34] She was very sure

[00:18:34] The only person who was doing well

[00:18:39] Like I told you is Vinod Tawde

[00:18:40] And yesterday this happened to Vinod Tawde

[00:18:43] Do you see some lines, correct?

[00:18:47] This is the point I was trying to mention to you

[00:18:50] This is my point number 3

[00:18:51] Everybody

[00:18:53] Who possibly was a challenge

[00:18:56] A challenger

[00:18:58] Actually, wrong word use

[00:19:00] A challenger to Devendra Fadnavis

[00:19:02] By whatever stroke of Ragh

[00:19:04] Was sidelined

[00:19:06] Now, my final point

[00:19:09] Is there a division

[00:19:11] In Bharatiya Chanta party

[00:19:14] A lot of people said that

[00:19:18] Gadkari's election

[00:19:21] A lot of

[00:19:23] Internal Bharatiya Chanta party workers

[00:19:25] Had tried their best

[00:19:26] To ensure that Gadkari loses from his seat

[00:19:28] It is being said

[00:19:31] Mumbai

[00:19:32] The Mumbai seat

[00:19:35] A lot of people say that

[00:19:36] Some of the Mumbai leaders

[00:19:38] Especially people like Ashish Shailar

[00:19:40] These are what is spoken about

[00:19:42] There are internal forces of Bharatiya Chanta party

[00:19:45] That is working against Ashish Shailar

[00:19:48] So, is there

[00:19:52] An internal force

[00:19:53] That is

[00:19:55] Dividing Bharatiya Chanta party

[00:19:57] That is pulling Bharatiya Chanta party

[00:19:59] On the other side

[00:20:01] Is there this kind of division happening?

[00:20:04] Number 1

[00:20:05] Number 2

[00:20:07] Decisions like

[00:20:09] Getting Ajit Pahar into the party

[00:20:12] When Shinde and

[00:20:14] Devendra Patnaves

[00:20:15] That is the Shiva Sena and the Bharatiya Chanta party

[00:20:18] Government was functioning perfectly well

[00:20:20] Getting in Ajit Pahar

[00:20:22] Therefore causing a lot of rift within the Bharatiya Chanta party

[00:20:26] Within the Bharatiya Chanta party rank and file

[00:20:28] Within Shiva Sena that is Shinde's rank and file

[00:20:32] And also within RSS

[00:20:36] Were these decisions

[00:20:38] That widened this rift in Bharatiya Chanta party

[00:20:44] And

[00:20:45] Is keeping

[00:20:47] Amit Shah away from Maharashtra politics

[00:20:51] Is it part of

[00:20:53] The rift that we see in Bharatiya Chanta party

[00:20:58] This is the question that I leave you with

[00:21:01] Till I see you next time

[00:21:03] That's tomorrow at 10

[00:21:05] Namaskar
