[00:00:00] Namaskar! Welcome to another episode of Editorial. Today I should confess that I believe that our Prime Minister is a non-biological being. Today I should confess that I believe that our Prime Minister can see the future.
[00:00:21] And that is precisely why our Prime Minister gave the Disruptor of the Year Award to Mr. Ranveer Alabadia, the YouTuber in the National Creators Award. Disruptor of the Year. How correct he could be? Let's talk about that. Let's get right to the show.
[00:00:52] Now, I don't think I need to speak to any one of you or I need to talk about Ranveer Alabadia to any one of you or all of you may be knowing him. I am sure very famous, very, very, very popular YouTube content creator. Now this content creator is a 30 year old man, young man.
[00:01:18] This content creator became one of the most wanted or most cherished YouTube content creator for all politicians. Every politician wanted to give an interview to him, including Nitin Gadkari, including Smita Hirani, including Jay Shankar, including everybody. Everybody wanted to just give an interview to him, be part of his podcast. Everybody.
[00:01:49] And people would reverend him. People would talk. You know, great things about him. People would call him one of the biggest influences of India. Those were the titles given to him. Like I told you, I believe that our prime minister is non-biological. Why?
[00:02:11] Because our prime minister gave him an award last year for as the best disruptor in the national creators award. He was given the best disruptor of the year award. Best disruptor. And what a thought, what a vision. Our prime minister knew that he was this kind of disruptor last year when he was given the award. Our prime minister knew. Nobody else knew. Prime minister knew.
[00:02:40] And the next category is Disruptor of the Year award. Thapit Mandandu ko challenge dekar nai rah banane waale ye award. Jiske vinar hai Ranbir Allahabad yaar. We know him as Beer Bises. He focuses on fitness, spirituality and lifestyle through his The Ranbir show. Tell us. Tell us. We will also give people some fitness mantra to us. We need to do yoga, meditation.
[00:03:11] We need to do yoga. Then people will say that we are telling him about the story of Modi Ji. Then we will say that you are the BJB people. We are telling him. Modi Ji probably talking about youth.
[00:03:51] So isn't that being non-biological? Solid vision. Anyway. So this is this fellow called Ranveer Alabadia. I mean Ranveer Alabadia when he made some stupid comment. I don't need to tell you all that. Everybody knows about it. He made some disgusting comment. Disgusting comments. About his family, about his parents.
[00:04:22] And lo and behold the same people who were lining up for interviews. In outside his studio. Now are not even willing to talk to him. A lot of people said, I am not going to go to his interview anymore. A lot of people say, I was called but I am not going. Whether they were called or not, God knows. But yeah. I mean everybody wanted to be earlier than thou. Very wrong. How is this guy talking like this?
[00:04:48] Before that half an hour, one hour before that man could possibly be lining outside his studio. That also is possible. But then everybody said it all wrong. Everything wrong and all that. And finally the whole country is against him. The whole country has criticized him. And what he said was actually worth criticizing. Disgusting. What he said is not what he thought of. What he said is something where he copied from some other person. Who had said it in some other show.
[00:05:17] In some American channel I believe. And this guy just like a, like a, I am sorry but a dumb mind just abed what that particular lady said. He thought that was very cool. And that was the limit of his mind. That was the limit. That was his level of maturity. And with that level of maturity, he said, disgusting. That's his life.
[00:05:48] Now, like I told you, the same people who were lining up, or lot of these people who were lining up outside his studio for, to take, to get an interview or to make him take their interview. These are the same people who then turned against him and there was a lot of FIIs against him. So our man went to Supreme Court and told Supreme Court, Baba, lot of FIIs, please get it to the same one bench and please quash these FIIs.
[00:06:16] Supreme Court, the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court said that, are you defending this kind of language? The Justice, Justice Kant who was hearing the case, asked advocate Dr. Abhinav Chandra Chud. Abhinav Dr. Abhinav Chandra Chud is incidentally, Justice D.Y. Chandra Chud's son. He asked Dr. Abhinav Chandra Chud, are you justifying this kind of language? The court asked.
[00:06:43] The court said that, if this is not obscenity, then what is obscenity? Is the judgment, the judgment is Apoorwa Arora judgment. Apoorwa Arora judgment said that, that all profanity, all profanity is not tantamounting to obscenity, is what the judgment had said. So he said, you can't, Apoorwa Arora case ke gan ke, you can say anything. Using that as an example, anything. This is what the court asked. Okay.
[00:07:09] The court went on to say that there is something very dirty in his mind, which has been vomited by him in this program. He is insulting parents also. Why should the courts favor him? The judge said. The judge said, why should the court favor him? Judge said, I am coming back to this. If you can try to attain cheap publicity by saying these things, there might be others who might want to get cheap publicity by making threats. The judge said.
[00:07:39] The words which you have used. Parents will feel ashamed. Sisters and daughters will feel ashamed. Entire society will feel ashamed. It is also a perverted mind. This is what the judge said. And he also said, what embarrassment he has caused to his parents. Judge said. Judge is very angry. But after all this, after all this, the judge gave him interim relief.
[00:08:08] That also happened. The judge gave him interim relief. So that's where it ended. We've heard, haven't we? All these statements that the court passed and finally interim relief. TK, this is the story. Now, I want to ask a couple of questions. You see, he is, he is, he is one of the most powerful influencers in India.
[00:08:38] He was the king of YouTube. Most of his, his programs fetched him millions and millions and millions of views. And, like I told you, most of the time he would speak to ghost hunters. He used to talk to ghost catchers. He used to talk to ahuris. He used to talk to tantrics. He used to talk to so-called black magicians, magicians and all that. He used to talk to these kind of people.
[00:09:06] And, he would claim that he was promoting Sanatana Dharma. And, in this facade of promoting Sanatana Dharma, huge amount of people watched him. Huge amount of people watched him. And, what he was within, was this. What he just said. Where, he spoke about things that was unimaginable.
[00:09:36] The point is, while you blame that 30 year old fellow, yeah, you should blame him. I mean, doesn't know the difference between, you know, his own mother and father and, you know, somebody else. Of course, you should blame him. There is no debate. But, the point is, to some extent, I blame myself. I also watched him, no?
[00:10:04] I also watched his YouTube, no? I also promoted such people, no? I also promoted him. You see, the social media is dominated by people like him. I mean, he is not the only case. He is not the isolated case. He must have gone to extremes to get popularity. But, he is not an isolated case. There are thousands and thousands of cases like this.
[00:10:34] And, there are crores and crores of people who watch these thousands of YouTube content creators. That's my problem. And, those hundreds of crores of people are us. We, you and I, we watch them. What pleasure do we derive out of this content? We don't know. What pleasure do we derive out of this so-called shock and awe?
[00:11:00] Shock and awe because when you, you know, you use some profanity, you use some nudity, you use some obscenity, you use some bad language. You know, that is the shock and awe part of it. And then, that video gets crores of views. What? And, we watch it. We give it crores of views. Crores of views gives him crores of rupees. Because, that's what YouTube pays.
[00:11:26] So, the platform, YouTube, the community that I am in, sitting here on YouTube, talking to you, this particular community, this particular YouTube, if you buy, erroneously, if you talk about suicide or if you talk about, you know, something which you talk because you want to kind of help the cause. You want to kind of give information about those kind of, those kind of evils in the society.
[00:11:55] They will put a community ban on you. They will pull down your channel. And, you are intending to talk good for the society. You are intending to educate the society. You are intending to do something good for the people. They will ban you. That same YouTube, you use this kind of language, you use this kind of examples. That's okay. They are okay with that. So, my question is, why blame Ranveer Alabadiya alone?
[00:12:26] That guy is a, possibly, he's got something, seriously, he needs help. I'm sure his parents would be, by now, taking him to some decent help. He needs help. But, the fact remains that so do we. So, do we as people because we promote such people. We promote such content. YouTube needs to introspect. YouTube needs to introspect. What are your rules for?
[00:12:54] Rules for people who try and explain and try and bring reality to the society or rules for people like this who talk profanity, who spread obscenity, who spreads pornography in the channel? This is verbal pornography. That's okay.
[00:13:15] And lastly, I have heard a lot of these anchors, television anchors, trying and talking about Ranveer Alabadiya. What Ranveer Alabadiya did is unforgivable. He is the dumbest thing that he did. But, what are you doing? What kind of message are you spreading? These anchors who are abusing Ranveer Alabadiya, let me ask you, what message are you spreading?
[00:13:46] Hindu Muslim? Hatred? Divisive? This is what you are spreading? You speak about social media being irresponsible. Are mainline media, are they responsible? Show me one mainline media. Write down in your comment box below. Write down in your comment box below. Show me one mainline media which you think is responsible and has been responsible. Show me one mainline media.
[00:14:14] Show me one mainline media. So, well, before you say holier than thou, I mean, take a step back. Introspect what you have been doing and then talk. Finally, you see, to my mind, and I am not a lawyer, but as a layman, there is a criminal element in what Mr. Alabadiya had said in his video.
[00:14:43] You see, over and above, speaking about whatever crap he spoke about, which I don't want to repeat and I will not repeat. He also spoke about paying that contestant who was standing or who they were roasting. I don't understand this format. I don't know the format. I have not seen the program. And before I saw that damn thing got pulled out. So, I think there is a guy who stands and they roast him and all of that.
[00:15:10] And when they were roasting him, this person called Ranveer Alabadiya made a statement. I am told where he said that, you see, you perform some act on me. I will pay you, which is an act of sexual nature. You perform that act on me and I will pay you money. Now, that is soliciting sex. That is a criminal offense to the best of my knowledge.
[00:15:36] If I go out and say that you do a sexual favor for me and in lieu of which I will offer you money, that becomes a crime to the best of my knowledge. Why is that not being highlighted anywhere? Why is that not highlighted anywhere? And why is that brushed under the carpet? Think about it. That too need to be spoken about.
[00:16:05] That said, while stupid, stupid man, but in a way, we are all responsible in some form or another. Till I see you next time. That is tomorrow at 10. Namaskar.
