[00:00:00] Namaskar, welcome to another episode of editorial. So this Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky, he is called Volodymyr not Vladimir. I used to call him Vladimir and I am told no that's not the way they pronounce in Ukraine. Vladimir is a Russian name not a Ukrainian name. Ukrainian name is Volodymyr. So Volodymyr Zelensky.

[00:00:30] He went to United States, he obviously went to gather United States support and he was humiliated by President Trump and his deputy. Humiliated. Let's talk about it. Let's get right into the show.

[00:00:50] Okay, so Zelensky, the president of Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine went to United States of America. Of course he went to United States of America hoping that United States of America will help him like the way USA was helping him before.

[00:01:18] Then, the president of the president of the president of the president of the president of the United States and his deputy humiliated him like nobody's business. Trump humiliated him. Trump humiliated him. J.D. Vance humiliated him.

[00:01:32] And he was treated like a some kind of a some kind of a regular guy from the street. He was treated very badly. Not only that, after that I am told that he was thrown out of the White House. He was picked up and said get out. So that happened. Let's start from the beginning.

[00:02:01] Let us understand this entire story in a very simple format. You see, it is predominantly United States and other European countries that actually pushed Ukraine and this man Zelensky into this war. Zelensky wanted to join NATO. United States is part of NATO.

[00:02:30] Now, Zelensky, because he wanted to join NATO, Russia told him do not. Do not join NATO because if you are joining NATO, you are going to give access to America on our borders. We wouldn't want our enemy country to be there in our border. And you, Ukraine have been part of USSR. You have been part of that big picture. So why are you doing this? This was the problem.

[00:03:01] Zelensky, who was stand-up comedian turned, turned president. Zelensky said, I want to tie up with NATO. There is no question about it. Now, the problem is when it all started, you know, everybody prodded him. Everybody pushed him. Everybody supported him. There was talk and speech and all made all over the world saying that go for it. Don't worry.

[00:03:31] So Obama started supporting him. This gentleman Trump also supported him to a very large extent. Last time in his last term, Biden supported him. Now Trump says, I don't want to support you. Go tie up. Go do ceasefire with Russia. In fact, it was one of his election promises. 24 hours, I'll get the ceasefire done. Now, before I talk about Trump's arrogance, let us talk about Zelensky's foolishness.

[00:03:57] You see, let us be very clear about life. Zelensky risked his entire population. Risked his entire population by combating with Russia. The fact is, Russia's initial demand was do not tie up with NATO.

[00:04:23] Had he adhered to that demand, no matter whatever, however you call it, fair, unfair, bad, good, I am not here sitting to judge. What I am trying to say is then too, we had said that, listen, Russia is a far more powerful country than Ukraine. Ukraine will have a problem and they did. Hundreds and thousands of people died. Russia made a mincemeat out of their states.

[00:04:51] And this was all because of one man's ego. Was he right? Was he wrong? Doesn't he have the right to determine whether he wants to join NATO or not? Or what if he joins NATO? There are other countries who joined NATO who share his borders with USSR. All that I understand. But in this case, who is powerful? Russia or Ukraine? Obviously Russia.

[00:05:16] And Ukraine took war, you took Panga with Russia to wage a war against Russia or they said they defended or whatever, defended Russian attack. With whose power? With whose support? United States support. And other European Union support. But predominantly United States support. Now what happened? United States says that, Ja, nehi deta support. Kattab. Now he has gone and waged war.

[00:05:45] He has gone and is fighting with Russia and United States. And he karni kabi. That previous government was responsible for this. They must have promoted you and all. We will not promote you. You go and you talk peace with Putin. Finally, what I am worried about are the people of Ukraine. Neither will Trump lose anything. Nor possibly the Zelensky. The people of Ukraine will lose. And that's what worries me.

[00:06:14] Who is right? Who is wrong? I am sure a lot of people are talking to you as to who is right and who is wrong. What for me? For me, I think the first job of a leader is to keep his or her people safe. That's the first job of a leader. And if he puts his people at peace, then he is a bad leader. This is what I understand. And that too, on somebody else's strength.

[00:06:42] By using somebody else's strength. Not his own. Ticker. Now let us come to Trump. You see, this Trump, his biggest grudge against Zelensky was the fact that you know, this man hates Putin. He is spitting venom against Putin.

[00:07:10] How can you have a compromise if he is spitting venom against Putin? How can you hate Putin so much? This is what Trump said. You see the hatred he's got for Putin. It's very tough for me to make a deal with that kind of hate. He's got tremendous hatred. And I understand that. But I can tell you the other side is exactly in love with, you know, him either.

[00:07:29] Now, if you notice in this entire clip of whatever, four minutes or five minutes, the amount of time that Trump and his deputy once has criticized Biden's administration is unbelievable. Are more than Zelensky talking about Putin. This man has spoken about his previous president.

[00:07:57] At least Zelensky is talking about his enemy country and the leader of his enemy country. So he's not going to say, hey, he's a great man. He's a good man. He's not going to say that. Obviously, we'll say until we came along, the Biden administration didn't speak to Russia whatsoever. They didn't speak to anybody. They just allowed this to continue. And I will say that I'll say in front of you, you've heard me say it a thousand times. If I were president, this war would have never happened.

[00:08:24] We would have had a deal negotiated for you without having to go through what you've gone through. That was a matter for you. That was it with me. That was with a guy named Biden, who was not a smart person. That was your that was with Obama. It was your president. Excuse me. That was with Obama, who gave you sheets and I gave you javelins. Yes. I gave you the javelins to take out all those tanks. Obama gave you sheets. In fact, the statement is Obama gave sheets and Trump gave javelins.

[00:08:55] But here, this man, Mr. Donald Trump, he's speaking about his own past president. His own president. And this is the way he talks about his president. Now, pray tell me that who was pitting venom against whom? One thing was sure because it was United States, because it was Washington. And of course, it is America. Trump could prevail and humiliate Zelensky, whereas Zelensky didn't have that kind of wherewithal

[00:09:25] and couldn't dare to keep quiet and suffer the humiliation and possibly then get thrown out. This is what happened. Now, you know, my editorial is not really upon what happened yesterday. I'm sure like I told you, you must have seen a lot of those editorials. My editorial is about can America actually effort to just take panga with everybody?

[00:09:53] Everybody, you mess with me, I'll increase your tariff. You mess with me, I will bomb you. You mess with me, I'll do that. You mess with me, I... Can they take panga with the whole world? And what happens if they make the world their enemy? You know, before I get into that, I want to tell you a story. Acha story here. The story like this is that, you know, there was a king.

[00:10:18] The king was a fair king, good king, and old king. He was on his deathbed. And he was a very sad and worried man. You know why he was sad and worried man? Because he knew his son was a evil, was a foolish leader, a foolish king. He knew that his son would turn into a foolish king. And more importantly, an evil king that worried him.

[00:10:48] So on his deathbed, he called his son and he said, listen, son, you're going to be the king. You are my only son. Now what happens is, if you're going to be the king, then you need to be fair with people. Be fair with people. Give people a chance. You think for their welfare. So the son told the old king, he said, listen, dude, die fast. Khatam Garo Yer. You messed up this kingdom.

[00:11:17] Let me take over and I will clean everything up because you, you are very weak. You're a weak king. I will be a strong king and an efficient king. The old king died and our man took over. When our man took over, he said, listen, you know what? I'm the new king. No, no. Okay. First. Now, if I want to capture more area, more, more place, more countries, more kingdom, what

[00:11:47] do I do? I should have a strong chariot. Let us see if my kingdom has strong chariot. He went for a chariot check. He found out a couple of chariots, you know, they're not right or whatever, whatever, whatever. They were not fast enough. So he called who is the chariot head? Who designs chariot here? This man. He called him here, cut his head off and said, Khatam. Story over. Then he went to the stable. He looked at the horses.

[00:12:13] He said, if you, if I want to again, me more powerful, I need better horses. Who looks after the horses? This person looks after the horses. Are all the horses good? No, not to the expectation. Khatam. Khatam. Cut his head. This started with everything. Till just time that he cut the head of his own tailor.

[00:12:36] And the story goes that in that kingdom, there were no chariot makers, no horse keepers, no tailors. So the finally, the king had to roam naked because there was nobody to stitch his clothes. Because he didn't correct. He eliminated the mistakes. He eliminated people. He eliminated the source. He didn't try to correct the source.

[00:13:05] So that it can be corrected and used. Why is this story relevant? Because I will tell you, this story is relevant because somewhere down the line, America and Trump is doing something similar to my mind. Trump. You see what Trump is doing is Trump's answer to anything is a threat. Trump's answer to anything is a threat.

[00:13:34] You, if you put tariff on us, we will reciprocate with the same tariff. You are a rich country, Baba. That other country is a poor country. If you dump your products in that poor country at a lower tariff, that country will never be able to produce. Their production will go kaput. Have a heart. Have a heart. Have a heart. But no. No, no, no, no. He said nothing.

[00:14:05] I don't care whether you are poor country, whether your country suffers, whether your people make money, whether you produce. I don't care. I care only about myself. I care only about my country. I care only about my money. I care only about my profits. So from a, from a whatever, from a selfish perspective, it is a very good thing. Jika is thinking for his country, but is that fair? Especially when Providence has made you the richest country in the world.

[00:14:34] Providence has made you this. So other than uplifting other country, finish it off. So you don't do this. I'll put tariff on you. You don't do this. I will wage a war against you. You don't do this. I will, I will show you what I can do. And you don't listen to me and act exactly the way I do. Then I will call you in my presidential house and humiliate you in front of the world.

[00:15:03] That humiliation happened in front of media because he wanted to humiliate him in front of the media. It is not me who saying it. He said it that I want this to happen in front of the media. So that president of another country, not that I like Zelensky, but the president is president of another country. This president of another country was humiliated in front of press. And of course, of course, the reaction was not very good.

[00:15:32] The reaction was not very good. French president Macron, he said, we must respect those who have given, who have been fighting since the beginning. I think we are all right to help Ukraine and sanction Russia three years ago. And to continue to do so, we, that is United States of America and Europeans, the Canadians, the Japanese and many others. So he said, listen, you know, we will continue to support Ukraine.

[00:15:59] The Spanish prime minister said, Ukraine, Spain stands for you. Spanish prime minister said, dear Zelensky, dear Ukraine friends, you are not alone. This is what the Polish prime minister said. The Norwegian prime minister said that we are stand by Ukraine in their fair struggle for a just and lasting peace. Swedish prime minister says that Sweden stands with Ukraine. You are not only fighting for your freedom, but also for all of Europe.

[00:16:30] So a lot of Europeans, they supported Ukraine. They supported Ukraine and they spoke openly for Ukraine. Now, mind you, our president of United States, he humiliated Zelensky. He thinks there's nothing. He doesn't make much of a difference to him. But you see, Europe made this makes a difference because mind you, all of this is happening in and around Europe.

[00:16:59] So if it's happening in and around Europe, it is definitely going to make difference to Europe and European Union and people and countries in Europe. Take this a little beyond just Russia, Ukraine war, which will possibly tomorrow threaten their own country. So the European response was completely for Zelensky.

[00:17:22] Now, what is technically going to happen is that you see, it is not that America is invincible. It is not that America says, you will have sanctions, you will have sanctions, you will have sanctions, you will have sanctions, you will have sanctions. So only the other countries are going to suffer. It is not that America may suffer as much as what other countries suffer.

[00:17:46] For instance, you see, French exports 45.2 billion to America, 45.2 billion but imports 51.8 billion from America. So French imports more from America. So French imports more from America than exports to America.

[00:18:10] If French said, nay, I don't want to, America may have a problem. Spain exports 18.1 billion to America but imports 28.1 billion from America. So these are all countries who imports more from America. For instance, Poland, US exports 14.5 billion, imports 12.6 billion.

[00:18:36] Sweden exports around 8.63 billion and imports around 9.74 billion. So if all the countries, all the European countries, tomorrow Asian countries, day after tomorrow, the rest of the world decides that, okay, you give the sanctions, you don't do business. What Trump has to remember is that he could be that king who has nothing.

[00:19:05] Because everybody stopped cooperating with him. Everybody stopped selling things to him. Everybody stopped coming in front of him and bending. Because end of the day, end of the day, Trade is a very powerful tool, more powerful than any bombs and any jets and any weapon of mass destruction. Trade is very powerful. If you mess, and if you mess with trade and you mess with people, you mess with your consumers,

[00:19:35] you mess with people who are importing from you, you mess with them, it's going to directly hit your economy. If it hits your economy, it's going to harm your people too. If it's going to harm your people, it's going to harm your country, it's going to harm your political career.

[00:19:51] So, you know, while you have people like Elon Musk was dancing in the stage with his chainsaw, saying that I have sacked people, I have cut jobs, stopping USAID to poor countries. At one side you have an Elon Musk and on the other side you have a JD Vance and Trump himself, humiliating presidents of other countries. Humiliating them.

[00:20:18] And the same president, which your own former president and vice president praised. This is definitely going to have its repercussions. The world may suffer if America leaves tariffs. Of course the world will suffer.

[00:20:38] But America will also suffer if the world decides that we can live without America's aid and America's products and America's money. America will also suffer. Till I see you next time. That's tomorrow at 10. Namaskar.
