[00:00:01] Hello Sunshine and how has your week been? I am, I can, I will, I do. Do we say this to ourselves often enough? Do you ever look at yourself in the mirror and say, you know what, you're a rock star? Because the truth is you need to know and believe that you're worth it. Nobody else is going to believe in you if you don't believe in yourself.

[00:00:31] Now this is true for so many of us that, you know, when we were younger and we graduated from high school, we had no idea of what we were going to do with our lives, at least not an exact plan.

[00:00:45] Yes, we definitely probably had an idea and probably had many lofty visions of who we'd end up being or what we'd end up doing.

[00:00:54] And it never helped that everyone around us kept telling us that we needed to start accomplishing great things, grab opportunities, you know, you probably told don't get lethargic, keep working hard.

[00:01:08] Sometimes that may have led to us becoming too focused on becoming a version of ourselves that everyone else wanted.

[00:01:16] And that probably led us to constantly keep comparing ourselves to others.

[00:01:22] Now that is damaging to our soul, to our spirit.

[00:01:26] And it leads to a downward spiral, making us feel inferior to others, making us forget that we are capable, that we have unique talents, that we have unique abilities.

[00:01:38] Real happiness comes from being content and proud of who you actually are.

[00:01:45] So tell me, when are you going to stop being afraid and choose what's best for you?

[00:01:50] When are you going to start focusing on what will make you happy?

[00:01:54] And there are a few things that we all need to stop doing.

[00:01:57] First of all, stop beating yourself up and worrying about every single thing that happens to you.

[00:02:04] Because that way you're missing out on the little happiness, the little magic that you could have had all along.

[00:02:10] Always remember that happiness does not come from pleasing other people.

[00:02:14] Happiness comes from feeling content with your own life and goals.

[00:02:19] And being able to answer the why and finding that purpose in your life.

[00:02:25] Remember everyone is different.

[00:02:27] Figure out what you're good at and what sets you apart from everyone else.

[00:02:32] Your mission is to create a reason for being here.

[00:02:36] Staying positive, believing in yourself, your path, your journey.

[00:02:43] Having faith in the fact that you're exactly where you need to be at the very moment in time.

[00:02:48] And as long as you're content, don't let anyone convince you that you're not where you need to be.

[00:02:57] Remember, you be the judge of what you want to change in your life and then you do it for you.

[00:03:03] Choose to completely surround yourself with positive and inspiring influences.

[00:03:07] Be it people, be it books, be it music, be it what you watch.

[00:03:12] You will begin feeling happier about yourself.

[00:03:16] You know there's this little thing that I do.

[00:03:18] I make a note of all these quotes that really inspire me and I've maintained a journal of sorts.

[00:03:23] Maybe try that.

[00:03:26] Make a list of podcasts that make you feel really good.

[00:03:30] Inspire you.

[00:03:32] Indulge in hobbies that make you come alive.

[00:03:35] The most important thing to remember is that you are worth it.

[00:03:40] You can go on another day and you can be happy.

[00:03:45] And always remember that life will not throw you anything you cannot handle or overcome.

[00:03:52] And once you start to accept yourself and love yourself, the fog will clear.

[00:03:58] And you will be able to see and feel more clearly.

[00:04:02] Be kind to yourself and life will be a whole lot brighter.
