[00:00:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Today we will talk about IFB, that is Indian Fine Blanks.

[00:00:48] [SPEAKER_00]: They started their journey in 1974 with Kolkata West Bengal.

[00:00:53] [SPEAKER_00]: The promoter of the company, Vijon Nag, was an engineer.

[00:00:56] [SPEAKER_00]: The company used to make components for the engineering industry.

[00:01:00] [SPEAKER_00]: The company signed a technical-com financial collaboration agreement with Heinrich Schmid

[00:01:08] [SPEAKER_00]: operators for IFB's factory to provide technical know-how, layout, design engineering services

[00:01:14] [SPEAKER_00]: and drawings.

[00:01:16] [SPEAKER_00]: In 1985, the company took a 4.8 acres land on the Hileespurli to manufacture high-tech

[00:01:24] [SPEAKER_00]: machines and to execute expansion-cum-diversification programs in the future.

[00:01:29] [SPEAKER_00]: In 1986, the company modernised its existing plant so that production capacity improves.

[00:01:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Then, next year, IFB started its second blanking unit in Bangalore.

[00:01:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Then, a few years later, IFB opened a joint venture with PA Ventrop, Huber & Wanger GmbH & Company

[00:01:49] [SPEAKER_00]: by the name RHW India Private Limited.

[00:01:54] [SPEAKER_00]: This venture was made to manufacture automatic seat adjustment mechanisms.

[00:01:59] [SPEAKER_00]: IFB set up a joint venture in the US to increase sales of the company's products,

[00:02:03] [SPEAKER_00]: mainly machine tools in USA & Canada.

[00:02:07] [SPEAKER_00]: In 1989, IFB started production of household appliances and fully automatic washing machines

[00:02:12] [SPEAKER_00]: through another collaboration.

[00:02:15] [SPEAKER_00]: This move expanded the world of home appliances from the automotive components.

[00:02:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Today, IFB's product portfolio has increased so much that IFB has reached home.

[00:02:28] [SPEAKER_00]: In 2000, IFB launched its first new fully automatic machine, Senator Co. Kerala.

[00:02:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Because of its innovation and world-class production facilities, IFB can deliver high-quality

[00:02:40] [SPEAKER_00]: components and consumer goods.

[00:02:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Today, IFB has more than 6 million customers who have made it a household name in India.

[00:02:51] [SPEAKER_00]: But, but, but IFB is not the only player in this industry.

[00:02:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Let's look at the competition of IFB Industries.

[00:03:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Now let's talk about this industry.

[00:03:15] [SPEAKER_00]: The home appliances industry is one of the fastest expanding industries in Indian market.

[00:03:20] [SPEAKER_00]: This industry has generated approximately 6.5 lakh crore rupees in 2023.

[00:03:26] [SPEAKER_00]: But, what is the main reason behind this expansion?

[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Look, India is a growing economy and Indian consumers' lifestyle is changing.

[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Now, there are more working individuals in the economy,

[00:03:38] [SPEAKER_00]: nuclear families and job migrations are increasing.

[00:03:41] [SPEAKER_00]: People's disposable income is also increasing and people are gradually

[00:03:44] [SPEAKER_00]: moving towards premiumization.

[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_00]: This is why, in these emerging markets, accessibility needs are also increasing.

[00:03:51] [SPEAKER_00]: And people are spending money on those things which give them convenience

[00:03:54] [SPEAKER_00]: and which saves their precious time.

[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Adapting energy-efficient products, rising digital penetration

[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_00]: and people's growth aspirations are the main reasons for the growth of this industry.

[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Now let's look at the financial performances of IFB Industries.

[00:04:10] [SPEAKER_00]: In the third quarter of the year, in 2023-24,

[00:04:14] [SPEAKER_00]: IFB Industries' limited revenue increased from 16.42% year on year

[00:04:19] [SPEAKER_00]: to 1167.9 crore rupees.

[00:04:23] [SPEAKER_00]: On a quarterly basis, IFB's revenue jumped by 5.5%

[00:04:28] [SPEAKER_00]: from the previous quarter i.e. quarter to financial year 2023-24.

[00:04:33] [SPEAKER_00]: In this quarter, the net profit of IFB Industries was 17.45 crore rupees

[00:04:38] [SPEAKER_00]: which increased by 106.37% year on year.

[00:04:43] [SPEAKER_00]: On a quarterly basis, the net profit of IFB Industries fell by 18.95%

[00:04:48] [SPEAKER_00]: from the previous quarter.

[00:04:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Now let's talk about the financial performance.

[00:04:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Let's talk about the CFR initiatives of IFB Industries.

[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Along with increasing their business,

[00:04:58] [SPEAKER_00]: IFB Industries has been working hard to increase the standard

[00:04:59] [SPEAKER_00]: of people's living by destroying hunger, poverty and malnutrition.

[00:05:05] [SPEAKER_00]: IFB has started many programs to promote healthcare and hygiene.

[00:05:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Not only that, the company also ensures that

[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_00]: water for drinking is available in the backward regions.

[00:05:17] [SPEAKER_00]: IFB is also focusing on promoting education, including

[00:05:21] [SPEAKER_00]: special education, improving village school facilities

[00:05:24] [SPEAKER_00]: and providing employment enhancing vocation skills

[00:05:27] [SPEAKER_00]: especially among kids, women, older people and differently abled.

[00:05:31] [SPEAKER_00]: All in all, IFB Industries is trying to improve India.
