[00:00:25] of life's challenges. I am your host, Kosh Sonal Chauhan and today we are diving into the topic of
[00:00:34] finding joy during difficult times even when happiness feels out of reach. It is no secret that life
[00:00:44] can throw us many challenges from unexpected setbacks to personal struggles. There are moments
[00:00:53] when it feels nearly impossible to find joy. But the good news is even in the darkest times
[00:01:02] there are ways to cultivate happiness and resilience. So how exactly do we find joy when it feels
[00:01:09] like the world is against us? Let's explore some tips and best practices together.
[00:01:17] First and foremost, it's important to acknowledge our feelings.
[00:01:25] Suppressing emotions only leads to the greater distress. By allowing ourselves to experience
[00:01:32] our emotions fully we open the door to healing and growth. Do not put a mask of being happy
[00:01:43] always, which we have taught especially in our within our society. Like every time you smile
[00:01:51] you keep yourself happy and show the happiness to others, we cannot do every day every time.
[00:02:00] So feel emotions and feel the way you are feeling right now and same you reflect outside also.
[00:02:12] The next let's talk about the power of gratitude. Even in the middle of turmoil there are blessings
[00:02:19] to be found, take a moment each day to reflect on what you are grateful. Whether it's your
[00:02:29] kiss memory or it's a simple joyful food you have it or the kindness of anybody around you.
[00:02:39] What I normally do when it is an extremely difficult situation where even I don't feel doing
[00:02:47] painting also or singing or dancing any hobbies which I have it. So what I do normally,
[00:02:55] I take my mobile and I explore my past where I had a great moments which I usually enjoyed.
[00:03:04] So I go through all the moments and I really appreciate my past where I built memories,
[00:03:12] happy memories right so it is very difficult to visualize and realize that in our mind
[00:03:20] and because of our mind works in the visual format and it stores the information in the visual format.
[00:03:27] So taking a reference exploring that it really helps. Another key to finding joy during
[00:03:33] difficult time is self care.
[00:03:37] Narcoring your mind, body and soul can help you, your spirit and give you the strength to face whatever
[00:03:45] challenges come in your way but not all sort of self care we can enjoy right during that
[00:03:55] of a time. So what we normally feel like you know related to that situation we can do that.
[00:04:02] Having a good food, you know just you know having a nutritious food, having a good water right
[00:04:10] everything comes under the self care doing some meditation during that time if you're not
[00:04:16] feeling like doing anything else. Having a long sleep, good sleep that is also a regenerate body
[00:04:25] so self care doesn't mean like you know it's just your outer body care etc.
[00:04:31] Simple very simple activities also comes under the self care.
[00:04:37] So do what you normally can do especially feel like doing that in that situation.
[00:04:46] Next is finding meaning and purpose can provide you a sense of fulfillment even in the darkest
[00:04:53] of times. Just you know in prospect your past and what you are doing currently whether you feel like
[00:05:05] that situation of appreciating that or showing the gratitude or if you do not feel no issue
[00:05:13] just visualize your future that always helps me. Visualizing a positive future that really
[00:05:22] even considering about the situation which will come in the future in the positive sense that
[00:05:31] always helps you know to finding the meaning and purpose. When we focus on helping especially
[00:05:41] the people around us to whom we feel connected that can really help with respect to you know
[00:05:50] bringing the joy in our life. Lastly remember that we are not actually alone. Reach out to
[00:06:00] your loved ones right to whom you feel connected it's not necessary it can be your friend
[00:06:07] not necessary within family only you have to do that to whom you feel connected and you trust
[00:06:14] you reach out to those right and you feel like being a psychologically safe around them
[00:06:21] only reach out to those people during that time do not reach out to everybody you feel like
[00:06:27] you know they might also be sometimes what happens you know if you are in very negative zone already
[00:06:35] and reaching out to those you know difficult who cannot handle that can really bring your spirit
[00:06:43] down so always reach out to those you feel connected with them. That is really needed for your
[00:06:52] mental health because when you are going through that difficult time you need a proper support not
[00:06:58] any sort of support right that uplifting support you so that is the reason I always recommend
[00:07:06] do not bother about you know like who are they can it's not necessary they can be your friends
[00:07:12] not necessary they can be within your family anybody you feel a joyful around that and you
[00:07:18] feel psychologically safe with them you can do that and if you are comfortable with you know professional
[00:07:26] help that I will highly recommend that is also I would suggest to whom you can trust you should
[00:07:34] always reach out to them asking for help is a sign of strength not weakness and there is a strength
[00:07:43] you know within I would say to whom you trust or really you know feel good about them so you
[00:07:50] can definitely you know they can they can help you and reaching out to others with respect to
[00:07:59] taking their help when you feel a psychologically safe around them I would say like it's really
[00:08:06] a you know good step with respect to your mental health as we wrap up today's episode I just want
[00:08:16] you to tell you like this is not something you know which I am telling you based on the my learning
[00:08:23] etc. I myself went through that and experienced you know that difficult emotions where you don't
[00:08:31] feel like you know doing any hobby related activities you don't feel like reaching out within
[00:08:37] your family you don't feel anything with your friends also so I can understand if you're going
[00:08:43] through that you know situation spending time with yourself also can help right spending time
[00:08:52] with yourself that can really help you to go through that difficult situation and always remember
[00:09:02] there is a life after this right that will go with time it's like ups and downs happens within
[00:09:12] life and 24 by 7 we cannot experience joy if you really want to feel the joy then you have
[00:09:22] to go through the difficult emotions then only you can understand value of really happiness what it
[00:09:32] is so this is just the test or I would say this is a part of life to go through the difficult emotions
[00:09:41] whether it is extreme sadness or whether it is extreme happiness unhappiness that we have to go
[00:09:49] through that but there is always a hope for the better times and better you know situations in
[00:09:58] the future so always visualize that and paint that if you can paint that and always remember
[00:10:07] let it whatever it is it will go even this difficult time also will go thank you for tuning in
