[00:00:06] Hello and welcome to the Happiness Painting Podcast. I am your host, Coach Sonal Chauhan and today I want to take you on a journey, a deeply personal one. And this story isn't just about me. It's about the power of finding calm in the chaos and how a simple act of picking up a brush changed everything for me.
[00:00:27] A few months ago, life had become overwhelming. You know that feeling when the world seems to be demanding more from you than you have to give. That was my reality. Work, family, expectations, it all felt like this endless cycle of stress and I couldn't find a way out.
[00:00:48] Recently one evening, after a particularly exhausting day, I found myself sitting in the silence, staring at my laptop screen, feeling like I was sinking under the weight of it all.
[00:01:03] Suddenly my son, they just walked into the room with the spark of excitement in his eyes and he asked,
[00:01:11] Are you not painting today? At that moment I wanted to say no. I was tired, drained and I didn't have any energy. But something in his face made me pause.
[00:01:24] I pushed myself and sat with him at the dining table. And he handed me a brush and dipped it into the water without any thoughts or plan.
[00:01:34] What happened next was unexpected. As the color spread across the paper, I felt something shift. My mind, which had been really racing with the endless worries, began to quiet.
[00:01:49] I wasn't thinking about the deadlines or the responsibility. I was simply watching the paint blend and flow.
[00:01:58] That moment of stillness became my first taste of peace after many weeks. And it wasn't just a fleeting feeling. Over the days and weeks that followed, I kept returning to the same practice.
[00:02:13] Not because I wanted to create a masterpiece, but because it gave me a space to breathe, to release my worries and to just be myself.
[00:02:26] What started as a simple activity became a transformative practice. I began to notice changes in myself. I was more present, more aware of my emotions and better equipped to handle stress.
[00:02:42] Painting wasn't just landscape. It was a tool, a way to connect with myself on a deeper level.
[00:02:50] And this journey is what inspired me to create my new foundation, AI-empowered course, Paint Your Peace.
[00:02:59] It's designed for anyone who feels like they are constantly running on empty, trying to keep up with the life's demand.
[00:03:08] And in this course, I'm sharing the very powerful techniques that help me to reclaim my calm and clarity.
[00:03:15] We will start with three quick stress relief techniques, simple methods that you can use anytime, anywhere, even during your office hours also, which will really help to calm your mind in the moments of overwhelm.
[00:03:30] Then we will also explore the power of self-awareness.
[00:03:36] Because the truth is, you can't manage what you don't understand.
[00:03:41] Learning to recognize and process your emotions is the first step to finding lasting peace.
[00:03:50] As we journey further, we'll dive into the concept of mental clarity.
[00:03:57] How to quiet the noise in your head and focus on what truly matters.
[00:04:03] And for those moments when negative emotions threaten to take over, I'll teach you three powerful techniques to build emotional resilience.
[00:04:15] But this isn't just about quick fixes.
[00:04:18] We'll talk about why having the stress relief strategy is essential.
[00:04:24] Life will always have challenges, but when you have a plan, a strategy or a framework, you can face those challenges with strength and grace.
[00:04:36] Finally, we'll focus on creating a routine.
[00:04:39] Painting doesn't have to be complicated or time consuming.
[00:04:43] I'll show you how to build an art practice that fits in your schedule according to your life, giving you a consistent source of calm and joy.
[00:04:54] I want you to imagine that it would, how it would feel like to wake up every day with the sense of clarity, to face stress with confidence and to feel deeply connected to yourself and growing holistically.
[00:05:11] That's what paint your peace is all about.
