My Coaching Journey

[00:00:13] Hello everyone, so I am Coach Sonal Chauhan. I am really excited to record this video because here I am going to cover my journey as a coach. So I have started my journey in year 2023 January and that I started under mentorship program and I have joined Siddharth Mentorship. So there was an event, you know, especially from the Success Kyan and from Facebook ads I came across that and I joined this community.

[00:00:40] And the day I have joined, I have never been a same person because I have changed a lot in the sense when it comes to, you know, my nature side, I have also changed. I am mostly the private, especially, you know, I do not want to put a lot of stuff in my social media. I want to keep my life totally private and more than that, you know, I look forward for that.

[00:01:03] But it's slightly changed because I started enjoying making videos also, although still I have a hesitation, especially when it comes to recording the video, but it's the confidence level and the speech, you know, especially the delivery that everything has been improved in these many months, you know, it's almost a one and a half year.

[00:01:27] More than that, as a part of this community, I became a co-author with my mentor also in I Can Coach Volume 3 book. So that has been especially a, I would say surprise for me because I never thought like my story will, you know, especially go into the book and with my mentor.

[00:01:49] So that is, you know, that's a big reward especially for me considering like my story is really, it will really inspire so many people. So that is a big achievement for me.

[00:02:02] More than that, my hesitation with respect to recording videos and then putting yourself in social media and selling part, which is totally out of my comfort zone.

[00:02:13] All the elements except the technology part, everything is out of my comfort zone, which I am improving day by day and I'm seeing improvement in myself.

[00:02:24] More than that, my energy management and my balance and health side because I was totally different person when I was working, especially as a working professional in top MNCs.

[00:02:38] So I was very career passionate and family oriented. But after joining this community, I started focusing on my other areas also, like putting yourself out especially, not just, you know, keeping and working on, you know, work also, just being more presentable.

[00:02:58] And then, you know, giving webinars, especially the recordings, etc. As a coach, which actually demand, you know, you have to be confident with camera and people also.

[00:03:09] So that is, you know, totally out of my comfort zone, which I am still learning and that is happening day by day.

[00:03:16] More than that, this especially I came across so many coaches. So I was not at all knowing there is a for each topic. There is a one dedicated expert will be there because I came from totally computer and software backgrounds.

[00:03:33] And if we have to, you know, especially, you know, interact with the different teams also. So their vocabulary, everything changes.

[00:03:42] When I came into this community, there are so many different type of experts are there.

[00:03:47] When you interact with them, you will get to know a lot about, okay, this also exists. This also exists, right?

[00:03:53] So it came a totally surprise for me and hearing or reading about many, I was so surprised because I was able to relate how much struggle they have gone through and from which background they came.

[00:04:08] So by reading and knowing about that, it really inspired me like this also happened and this also happened.

[00:04:15] So during this time, I realized everybody has to go through their journey.

[00:04:21] You know, they will go through different challenges.

[00:04:24] But what makes us as a coach is thriving, especially overcoming those challenges and thriving those challenges more than that being ready for challenges.

[00:04:39] So that really helped me and I'm more into, you know, especially from the computer backgrounds.

[00:04:47] So it was really, you know, easy for me when it comes to interacting with the technologies or anything related to the computer or laptop term.

[00:04:57] Once it become a, you know, more interaction with the other industry that came as a challenge for me because my background,

[00:05:07] sometimes what I speak, I realized they were not able to understand what I was speaking, especially in terms of terms.

[00:05:14] So I have stopped even speaking and taking name, which, you know, which is my pain point because I am co-techie person.

[00:05:21] So I stopped that intensity, you know, slowly and I stopped speaking about those terms so that, you know, we can be on the same line.

[00:05:32] So this is what, you know, I worked on this many times.

[00:05:35] More than that, I got to know about hearing others, reading about others.

[00:05:39] There are so many different areas.

[00:05:41] And right now I'm working on the healing side, especially, you know, painting as a healing.

[00:05:47] So I became a healer.

[00:05:48] And when I started my journey, especially in the Internet Lifestyle Hub,

[00:05:53] so it took time for me to come upon, especially on this topic.

[00:05:57] Then I realized this is the problem.

[00:06:00] Actually, I worked on myself.

[00:06:02] You know, when I was working on my industry, this is the problem.

[00:06:06] I worked on myself.

[00:06:07] And I realized this is the topic.

[00:06:10] I should continue and pursue that in the detail.

[00:06:14] So this is what really helped me.

[00:06:15] So if you are still thinking about your needs, so do not worry.

[00:06:19] Everybody goes through their journey.

[00:06:22] Sometimes their topics or sometimes their path is not clear.

[00:06:26] But we will get to know, you know, our core area if we continue this, right?

[00:06:34] With continue this with the consistency, we will get to know our core area.

[00:06:39] But why it is important to continue this, whatever this happens.

[00:06:44] It is important because maybe this core area, you will get it later.

[00:06:51] But along with that, in this tutoring process, you will learn a lot of other things,

[00:06:56] which will help you once you have your core area.

[00:07:00] Core area means Nesh I'm talking about.

[00:07:02] So this is what has been my key lessons, especially in this journey as a coach.

[00:07:39] So practice is a core part, like whatever has been told.

[00:07:44] Continue the practice and do not get stuck.

[00:07:48] Especially like you don't have this, you don't have this.

[00:07:51] Continue with whatever you have it.

[00:07:53] And then you will discover what you are mean to be.
