I am your host Coach Sonal Chauhan and today I want you to take you on the journey, a journey where colors replace notifications, brushstroke replaces swipes and the piece replaces the buzzing chaos of everyday life. Imagine this, it's a crisp Sunday morning. You wake up and unconsciously reach for your phone.

[00:00:36] You scroll, you swipe and you tap. Before you know it, an hour has vanished. Sound familiar? Don't worry, you're not alone. Technology is an amazing gift. It's brought us closer, made life more convenient and even created platforms, various platforms like this one where I get to talk to you. But sometimes even beautiful things need a pause.

[00:01:06] Let me take you back to the moment from my own life. It was a rainy afternoon and I was sitting at my desk, juggling with many emails, messages and lots of deadlines. My brain really felt like a browser with too many tabs on too many windows open, constantly shifting and never settling.

[00:01:29] I longed for the stillness, something to anchor me in the mid of chaos. That was when I remembered my old hobby, old pain set which was literally under my desk which I have totally forgotten.

[00:01:49] With no plans, I kept it. With no plans, I just opened up and kept it on my desk for some time. Then again, I thought like, okay, let's start it. The scent of fresh paint brought back memories of the similar times which I had it earlier.

[00:02:06] I picked up the brush and let the colors flow. At first, my strokes were hesitant, unsure. But after certain minutes passed, I really, you know, started feeling the magical brush strokes which I was literally missing from many weeks.

[00:02:25] The tension in my shoulders began to ease and I totally immersed myself into doing the painting especially.

[00:02:34] My mind stopped racing about a lot of, you know, different activities which were my backlog.

[00:02:41] The colors on the canvas seemed to speak a language my heart had been waiting to hear and I really relaxed and felt a sense of calm.

[00:02:52] That moment changed everything for me. It wasn't, you know, first time it happened.

[00:02:58] It is normally happened when you are not touched with your passion or your hobby.

[00:03:03] It was about, you know, giving myself permission to breathe, to pause and to express without words.

[00:03:12] Painting became my personal retreat and my digital detox from that day onward.

[00:03:19] My way of finding balance in my chaotic world which sometimes became, you know, too much of chaotic where I was not able to realize what I am really missing.

[00:03:33] You see, painting isn't just about the art. It is about the connection. It is about the feeling. It is about the self-expression.

[00:03:41] When we paint, we reconnect with ourself and we start enjoying especially that moment which we never realized we were missing especially.

[00:03:52] The soft glide of the brush on the canvas and the vibrant especially the brush strokes, it is like a therapy. It is like an energy.

[00:04:02] It doesn't demand anything but, you know, just your full attention especially for that activity.

[00:04:09] Here is a secret. You don't need to be an artist to experience this.

[00:04:14] Painting welcomes everyone whether you are a seasoned artist or just you are starting it, you know, fresh beginner.

[00:04:22] It is for everyone. It is like the activity which nobody can judge especially.

[00:04:28] Canvas cannot judge you. Brushes cannot judge you. You are spending time with yourself.

[00:04:34] It simply invites with a beautiful smile.

[00:04:38] What makes painting so powerful for detoxing especially from your tech-filled lives into simple and peaceful environment?

[00:04:48] While screens demand our constant attention, painting gives us freedom to be free and to spend time with yourself.

[00:04:58] It is a space where we can create without, you know, too much, you know, using our logical brains especially, a lot of algorithms.

[00:05:07] Where there is no rush, no comparison, just you and the colors and the moment.

[00:05:13] Now I want you to imagine this for yourself.

[00:05:18] Imagine setting aside just 30 minutes out of 24 hours every day.

[00:05:24] You find a quiet corner.

[00:05:26] You just arrange your paints and the brushes in the simplest way and you let it go that time.

[00:05:34] You let the colors guide you.

[00:05:37] Do not think too much about what you are going to paint.

[00:05:40] You let your mind, you know, just wander and you allow yourself to simply be in that activity for that moment.
