00:00:01 Speaker 1: Welcome to the Freedom Business podcast, your host, Sat Raj Shekhar here. Great to have you here. This is where we are going to be talking about how we can redefine our education system by building vibrant learning communities. Take your knowledge out of the world and be awesome. Let's get in 00:00:29 Speaker 1: so awesome. Great to have you in this episode. And if you want to make 2024 your best year ever, this is going to be the podcast for you. But I want to be sharing four different concepts. A concept called reflection. Second concept is subtraction. Third concept is multiplication and fourth concept is rotation. If you apply these four ideas, you can get more done in less time and you can make this year your best year ever and you can get a lot more accomplished 00:00:56 Speaker 1: this year as compared to the previous year. And if you really wanted to achieve that and, and make that happen for yourself, take a lot of notes and let's get straight in. Let's get to the first concept reflection. The first thing I want you to do is reflect on all the events that have happened in the last one year, 00:01:12 Speaker 1: open up your calendar, open up your phone, look at the photo library, just go and look at where all did you go? What all did you do? Who did you meet and then start to analyze? What are the things that worked for you in the previous year? What are the things that did not work for you? What were the, the good decisions that you made? What were the bad decisions that you made that really did not, you know, uh plan or, or work out the way that you had already that you had planned 00:01:37 Speaker 1: and then what you should do you should do ideally is generate insights from this. This is what I did. I just looked at all the things that happened last year and then I was able to generate a few insights. Now, what are insights, insights are uh 00:01:51 Speaker 1: things that can be brought into a, a decision based on all the data that you have? OK. It's like you're analyzing data and making a decision. 00:02:03 Speaker 1: So the insights that I got from the last year is like there were many things that worked. So I'm gonna do more of that things that did not work. I'm gonna stop that. 00:02:11 Speaker 1: So when you generate insights, when you reflect that will actually set the tone for the next year, it'll help you 00:02:18 Speaker 1: get clear on what's working and what's not working. Now, let's come to the second part which is subtraction 00:02:24 Speaker 1: you can only multiply your results by subtracting all the crap from your life. 00:02:30 Speaker 1: What do I mean by that 00:02:33 Speaker 1: before you go on to adding more things to your list to do? 00:02:36 Speaker 1: You need to first look at the three pieces if you want to get more done. Number one is what are the projects that did not serve? You? Subtract that? Who are the people that did not add value to your life? 00:02:49 Speaker 1: Remove them from your life? Don't be rude. But I'm just saying in my case, I will observe that there were some team members who are not adding much value. So I had to ask them to step off. There were a few vendors who are not performing as I had planned. So they had to step off. So I started to do an internal cleaning of people who are supporting me, but who are not very efficient so that I can, you know, realign myself in my business. So the second thing is subtraction and number three is a third piece is patterns. What are the patterns that are not serving you? For example, 00:03:19 Speaker 1: if you are somebody who is waking up late every single morning 00:03:24 Speaker 1: and you're not getting good sleep or and that's becoming a pattern. How can you break that pattern? How can you subtract that pattern and make that into a better pattern where you're waking up early, waking up fresh and so to, to wake up early, you go to sleep early. So maybe the pattern there is you're watching your phone too much, you know, just before you go to sleep. So you're not getting sleep. So maybe that pattern can be subtracted from your life so that it actually impacts you waking up early to get more done and be more productive. 00:03:48 Speaker 1: I hope this makes sense. So that's how I would like all of you to note this whole concept of subtraction. Now, let's come to the concept of multiplication, 00:03:58 Speaker 1: multiplication. There are five areas that you can multiply energy, time, knowledge, skills, and money. 00:04:06 Speaker 1: How can you multiply your energy by eating the right food by uh having the right information inputs in your head that give you energy by being a part of a community. If you're not a part of the international cell hub, I would highly recommend that you join our community. You'll always be energized to do more and to and, and it's not just because of the knowledge here, it's because of the people. Second is how you can multiply your time. How can, how you, how you can automate delegate systemized? 00:04:30 Speaker 1: Like I've got so many webinars running all the time and people are just buying my products and I've multiplied my time even through these podcasts and multiplying my time through videos, multiplying my time through courses and stuff. How can you multiply your knowledge, 00:04:42 Speaker 1: maybe listen to podcasts on the go listen to youtube videos. Uh You know, really get into focus, learning if you're in my community, just focus on the learning path, implementation part that I've given you. How can you multiply your skills? Maybe look at all the skills that are lacking in you right now and put that on your calendar, maybe learn a tool, learn a particular skill, go and practice that and build those skills and finally how you can multiply your money. Yeah, with whatever you're earning, how can you reinvest that back into to some kind of 00:05:10 Speaker 1: uh multiplication models like putting it into sips investing in silver, investing in gold. How can you multiply your wealth? 00:05:18 Speaker 1: If you actually put your mind to this, you'll be able to find so many ways where you can multiply your energy, time, knowledge, skills, and money. 00:05:27 Speaker 1: And finally, the fourth concept is rotation or how can you put things into cycles? 00:05:33 Speaker 1: How can you and there are again five areas under this relaxation time, business time, family time, personal time, spiritual time. 00:05:43 Speaker 1: How can you cycle? How can you put the cycles of your relax, relaxation time? Maybe you do one vacation every six months, one staycation every single month. A staycation is where you go and just stay in a five star hotel in your own city. Just to plan the next month. 00:05:59 Speaker 1: Business time 00:06:01 Speaker 1: and business. There are three categories, creation, conversion, and community. What can I do to create content? Like what I'm doing right now? Podcast, I have a cycle, you know, uh plan on how I want to roll out a podcast, whether it's a podcast or youtube video. I have a content creation schedule. You on my Instagram. I have a real that's happening every alternate day conversion. What am I doing to sell my products through webinars, through automated webinars. 00:06:28 Speaker 1: And then what am I doing to nurture my community? Again, I have a cyclical model every week. On Thursday, we have in a circle call every Tuesday. I have hackathon. 00:06:37 Speaker 1: And then the third area is family business. I mean, I mean, family time. What can you do to connect with your family? Personal time? What can you do to put into a cycle? The hobbies that you like and spiritual time for your inner reflection. 00:06:52 Speaker 1: What can you do on a daily basis to declutter your inner space or meditation? Puja JPA, whatever process that you follow based on the religion that you're following or even the non religious spirituality, you can actually put that into cycles. So when you're able to apply these four concepts, reflection, subtraction, multiplication, and rotation 00:07:14 Speaker 1: this year will be your best year. Now, the only question is, are you going to really do it? Many people like to listen to these podcasts, but most of them do not implement the knowledge it all comes on to implementation. So if you're going to make that commitment of implementation, if you're listening to this podcast on my blog I would like you to share in the comments below. What are you going to commit to?
