Speaker 1: Do you want to know how I keep innovating continuously
00:00:02
Speaker 1: in my business? Because what I believe that if you
00:00:04
Speaker 1: don't innovate, you won't be able to sustain in a
00:00:06
Speaker 1: business and you must have heard of this innovate or die.
00:00:09
Speaker 1: So the only way to grow in a knowledge business
00:00:11
Speaker 1: is to keep redefining yourself. Let's get into it.
00:00:16
Speaker 1: Business is all about innovation. If you're not continuously reinventing
00:00:20
Speaker 1: yourself or reinventing your products or reinventing your approach, reinventing
00:00:23
Speaker 1: your customers experience, there's only gonna be a time where
00:00:27
Speaker 1: somebody else is going to be coming and taking that
00:00:29
Speaker 1: particular space. Now, in this particular podcast, I'm gonna just
00:00:32
Speaker 1: break it down into how do I approach reinvention? And
00:00:36
Speaker 1: there are five different
00:00:38
Speaker 1: stages that I look at on or five different ideas,
00:00:41
Speaker 1: I'm going to be getting into. So even if you're
00:00:43
Speaker 1: brand new in a coaching business or in a knowledge business,
00:00:45
Speaker 1: or if you've been in a business for a long time,
00:00:48
Speaker 1: these few pointers is gonna be helping you understand how
00:00:51
Speaker 1: you always be, be ahead of the curve. And even
00:00:55
Speaker 1: if there are moments where you feel that you're not
00:00:58
Speaker 1: in control or you're um you know, you're kind of
00:01:01
Speaker 1: losing your mojo or you're feeling
00:01:03
Speaker 1: uh down or you're just feeling that no matter what
00:01:07
Speaker 1: effort you're doing, things are not moving forward. These five
00:01:09
Speaker 1: ideas are gonna be helping you bounce back and make
00:01:12
Speaker 1: things happen much faster. So take a lot of notes
00:01:16
Speaker 1: and let's get in.
00:01:17
Speaker 1: So innovation, the way that I look at innovation is
00:01:21
Speaker 1: what are you doing, which is different compared to others
00:01:25
Speaker 1: in the market that the market sees the value in you.
00:01:29
Speaker 1: So if you look at uh some of the biggest
00:01:32
Speaker 1: companies like Apple uh that have really innovated, right from
00:01:35
Speaker 1: the beginning on launching new products, having a strong marketing
00:01:38
Speaker 1: strategy and really looking at improving their products on a
00:01:42
Speaker 1: continual basis. That has been a big inspiration for me personally.
00:01:45
Speaker 1: So the whole aspect of innovation,
00:01:48
Speaker 1: the core of innovation comes down to intention,
00:01:53
Speaker 1: you won't be able to innovate a sustainable business unless your,
00:01:59
Speaker 1: your core intentions are there to help everybody win. Meaning
00:02:03
Speaker 1: if your intention is coming from a space where you
00:02:08
Speaker 1: want your customers to win first, you want your partners
00:02:11
Speaker 1: to win second and then you would win third, like
00:02:14
Speaker 1: the win, win, win model. If it's not there at
00:02:16
Speaker 1: the core level,
00:02:18
Speaker 1: then what's gonna be happening is even though you may
00:02:21
Speaker 1: have different ideas, there is going to be a life
00:02:23
Speaker 1: cycle to it. So when I look at some of
00:02:25
Speaker 1: the biggest cultures and biggest companies in the world that
00:02:28
Speaker 1: have stood the test of time, like companies like Nike,
00:02:30
Speaker 1: for example, even though there were many other shoe brands
00:02:33
Speaker 1: that came in and a lot of competitors came in
00:02:35
Speaker 1: and went, what made Nike Stand the test of time
00:02:38
Speaker 1: was because of what they stood for. It was more
00:02:40
Speaker 1: like the brand
00:02:41
Speaker 1: intentions were so strong that they always wanted the athletes
00:02:45
Speaker 1: to win. They always wanted to see that uh whoever
00:02:51
Speaker 1: uh what decisions that they make as an organization, they
00:02:55
Speaker 1: wanted to make sure that the forefront of the decisions
00:02:59
Speaker 1: was to help the end users win.
00:03:02
Speaker 1: And because of that, the kind of brand loyalty that
00:03:04
Speaker 1: was built over the years, you know, has taken that
00:03:07
Speaker 1: particular brand to a whole different level compared to many
00:03:09
Speaker 1: of the comp competing brands that came later on.
00:03:12
Speaker 1: So the first thing is your intention now when it
00:03:15
Speaker 1: comes to a knowledge business, why are you doing this?
00:03:18
Speaker 1: I mean, that's a big question and when you go
00:03:21
Speaker 1: deeper into this and probe yourself, are you doing this
00:03:23
Speaker 1: just to be ahead of others or are you doing
00:03:26
Speaker 1: this just to make more money than others? Are you making?
00:03:30
Speaker 1: Are you just getting on this journey just to be
00:03:32
Speaker 1: ahead of others and not and have that formal effect?
00:03:34
Speaker 1: Or if you're feeling that fear of missing out
00:03:36
Speaker 1: uh when you have a root like that, then the
00:03:39
Speaker 1: fruits also over time will start to bear that way.
00:03:43
Speaker 1: What I mean by that is even the fruits that
00:03:45
Speaker 1: will bear from your business will be having tinges of,
00:03:50
Speaker 1: you know, for more tinges of uh anxiety and fears
00:03:55
Speaker 1: and anything that you be you'll be doing to grow
00:03:58
Speaker 1: your business, all the decisions will be around that particular energy.
00:04:02
Speaker 1: Now, when you look at the second way to innovate
00:04:05
Speaker 1: is to really look at what problems your market is
00:04:08
Speaker 1: facing and even going deep into studying the problems and
00:04:12
Speaker 1: understanding what their needs are because innovation only comes out
00:04:16
Speaker 1: of challenges
00:04:19
Speaker 1: because if something is not possible to be done or
00:04:23
Speaker 1: if somebody is not able to achieve a particular goal,
00:04:25
Speaker 1: then people who put their, their thoughts and minds and
00:04:28
Speaker 1: you know, continuously thinking about that, they will find ways
00:04:30
Speaker 1: to make it happen. And in fact, when I look
00:04:32
Speaker 1: at my business in the last five years, there have
00:04:35
Speaker 1: been multiple things that I have rolled out um in
00:04:38
Speaker 1: the digital coaching industry that have become a normal thing
00:04:41
Speaker 1: right now. Things like hackathons, things like, you know, inner
00:04:44
Speaker 1: circle calls masterminds
00:04:46
Speaker 1: like a high ticket mastermind and a community oriented, uh
00:04:49
Speaker 1: you know, masterminds that are there and there are different
00:04:51
Speaker 1: kinds of masterminds in the market. There are some masters
00:04:53
Speaker 1: are a very tactical mastermind, some of them are more
00:04:56
Speaker 1: implementation masterminds, some of them are community oriented mastermind. So
00:05:01
Speaker 1: what I basically done is by understanding the problems in
00:05:04
Speaker 1: the market, I try to fill the gap and it's,
00:05:07
Speaker 1: it's a good thing that once you know what your
00:05:10
Speaker 1: own problems are, and once you know what your customers
00:05:12
Speaker 1: problems are by having continuous uh
00:05:15
Speaker 1: feedback and reviews with all the different customers, you'll be
00:05:18
Speaker 1: able to pick up those patterns and then start developing
00:05:20
Speaker 1: innovative solutions. So the first important point about innovation is
00:05:26
Speaker 1: it has to come from the right intent for you
00:05:28
Speaker 1: to be able to innovate something that is sustainable. Second
00:05:31
Speaker 1: is innovation needs to come from root problems, root level
00:05:35
Speaker 1: problems that you are facing yourself and your customers are
00:05:37
Speaker 1: also facing. So that way what happens is you'll be
00:05:40
Speaker 1: able to channelize all of your energy to create something
00:05:43
Speaker 1: that will be a win, win, win again. So again,
00:05:46
Speaker 1: if your intent is not in the right space, then
00:05:49
Speaker 1: the solution to the problem will also be quick fix solutions.
00:05:53
Speaker 1: And uh that will also bring you back to square
00:05:55
Speaker 1: one if the solution is only having a win lose model. OK.
00:06:01
Speaker 1: Now let's look at the third part, how do I
00:06:03
Speaker 1: keep innovating? My business is through connection. I connect a
00:06:06
Speaker 1: lot with my customers. I connect a lot with, even
00:06:09
Speaker 1: with my quantum members,
00:06:10
Speaker 1: I have more than 100 plus quantum members in my
00:06:13
Speaker 1: group right now. And I do a lot of one
00:06:14
Speaker 1: to ones with them. And uh one is I'm able
00:06:16
Speaker 1: to understand what's going through their business on their personal side.
00:06:21
Speaker 1: And I also connect every single week twice with my
00:06:24
Speaker 1: community on Tuesdays. I do the hackathon on Thursday. I
00:06:27
Speaker 1: do my inner circle call on my Mondays. I do
00:06:29
Speaker 1: a leadership council call and I continuously keep running polls
00:06:32
Speaker 1: and surveys to understand
00:06:34
Speaker 1: what's going through their mind, what is keeping them stuck.
00:06:37
Speaker 1: And in fact, a large percentage of the people in
00:06:40
Speaker 1: my community are brand new to the coaching world. So
00:06:43
Speaker 1: I'm kind of indoctrinating them into this world, getting them
00:06:45
Speaker 1: up to speed.
00:06:46
Speaker 1: And I'm so happy to say that because of, you know,
00:06:49
Speaker 1: this whole aspect of what I've been doing to bring
00:06:52
Speaker 1: people on board, it is impacting the entire industry. In fact,
00:06:55
Speaker 1: I don't look at anybody in this industry as competition
00:06:57
Speaker 1: or competitors. Everybody is a catalyst. There's somebody who may
00:07:01
Speaker 1: be good in a particular skill, there are others who
00:07:03
Speaker 1: may be good in other skills. And the only thing
00:07:05
Speaker 1: is you need to understand what is our skill. So
00:07:07
Speaker 1: even in your industry, if you want to really innovate,
00:07:09
Speaker 1: you got to understand what is your superpower like for me,
00:07:12
Speaker 1: my superpower is, is community building, it's holding people together
00:07:16
Speaker 1: and really creating um a revolution together uh and making
00:07:21
Speaker 1: a difference together in, in an industry. So that's kind
00:07:24
Speaker 1: of been the theme of what I've been doing right
00:07:26
Speaker 1: from the moment I started my business, I can, thanks
00:07:28
Speaker 1: to my mentors who planted that ideology. And with that
00:07:31
Speaker 1: intention is when I started my business. So when you
00:07:33
Speaker 1: connect on a human to human level uh with your
00:07:37
Speaker 1: customers and even on a 1 to 1 level, you'll
00:07:40
Speaker 1: be getting a lot of ideas to innovate. And for,
00:07:43
Speaker 1: for example, recently I had a,
00:07:45
Speaker 1: a call with my first batch of quantum and I
00:07:47
Speaker 1: got some amazing feedback and that helped me like completely
00:07:50
Speaker 1: innovate a completely new system uh that I'm going to
00:07:52
Speaker 1: be launching for them right now, which will be a
00:07:55
Speaker 1: total game changer. That means people will be able to
00:07:57
Speaker 1: track their business at a kind of level that they
00:07:59
Speaker 1: would have never been able to track before. And that's
00:08:02
Speaker 1: going to be evolving into a technology based platform down
00:08:04
Speaker 1: the line. I already have a technology platform for my
00:08:07
Speaker 1: diamond members called Polls Star, which has completely changed the
00:08:10
Speaker 1: game for many of my diamond members in terms of
00:08:13
Speaker 1: their habits, they are tracking
00:08:14
Speaker 1: their accountability, their whole life has transformed and many of
00:08:18
Speaker 1: you might have seen or read of these stories. In fact,
00:08:21
Speaker 1: if you go to blog dot internet life hub dot com,
00:08:23
Speaker 1: you can read many of the stories of our our
00:08:25
Speaker 1: members whose lives have been transformed just because of, you know,
00:08:30
Speaker 1: the the space that has been created for them in
00:08:32
Speaker 1: the environment. Now. Similarly, I'm actually building a brand new
00:08:35
Speaker 1: platform which is more on the business oriented side of
00:08:38
Speaker 1: tracking things at a much closer level for my quantum members.
00:08:41
Speaker 1: So innovation happens when you connect.
00:08:44
Speaker 1: And then the fourth way on how you can continuously
00:08:47
Speaker 1: keep innovating in your business is by looking at different
00:08:50
Speaker 1: tactics that are there in the market because tactics keep
00:08:53
Speaker 1: changing over time. There are some tactics that used to
00:08:55
Speaker 1: work four or five years ago, which may not be
00:08:57
Speaker 1: working right now. So you got to be abreast on
00:09:00
Speaker 1: what is the current age tactic that is working. And
00:09:05
Speaker 1: as long as you're in
00:09:06
Speaker 1: is in the right place and you know that you're
00:09:08
Speaker 1: solving problems and you are deeply connected with your tribe,
00:09:11
Speaker 1: then you'll be able to deploy the right tactic that
00:09:13
Speaker 1: will be the right fit for your business. Now, there
00:09:16
Speaker 1: are so many marketing tactics, there are so many content tactics.
00:09:19
Speaker 1: There are many tactics when it comes when it comes
00:09:21
Speaker 1: to selling tactics that are evolving in the marketplace uh
00:09:24
Speaker 1: before the whole concept of web
00:09:26
Speaker 1: selling was not even there. So I started this like
00:09:29
Speaker 1: in year 2018. Now, it's like many people are doing webinars.
00:09:31
Speaker 1: The 1 to 1 was the only way to do
00:09:34
Speaker 1: and even stage based selling was the only thing to do.
00:09:36
Speaker 1: So now we have webinars that are working, we have,
00:09:38
Speaker 1: you know, workshops that are working, we have, you know,
00:09:40
Speaker 1: low ticket offers that are working with multiple up sales
00:09:44
Speaker 1: and there are so many different ways that the game
00:09:45
Speaker 1: can be approached right now.
00:09:47
Speaker 1: So the best way to keep innovating is to keep
00:09:50
Speaker 1: testing and tracking your numbers. And if something is going downwards,
00:09:53
Speaker 1: let's say you are doing very well in your business.
00:09:56
Speaker 1: But for some reason, it's not like the same and
00:09:59
Speaker 1: the numbers are moving downwards and it's, then you got
00:10:01
Speaker 1: to quickly look at, ok. Uh When did the pattern start?
00:10:05
Speaker 1: When did the numbers start moving down? And what are
00:10:07
Speaker 1: you going to do to bounce back? And uh what
00:10:09
Speaker 1: is the latest tactic right now that needs to be
00:10:11
Speaker 1: deployed for us to stay up in the game?
00:10:13
Speaker 1: And as long as you're able to completely learn and
00:10:17
Speaker 1: adapt to these fast changing tactics over time, that's gonna
00:10:20
Speaker 1: keep you ahead in the business. Because even if you
00:10:23
Speaker 1: look at large companies like uh you know, like Apple
00:10:26
Speaker 1: or say Ike and others, even though they are large brands,
00:10:29
Speaker 1: they are continuously innovated
00:10:32
Speaker 1: in terms of how do they go to market, what
00:10:34
Speaker 1: kind of a product launch will be the one that
00:10:36
Speaker 1: will get the maximum revenue in years? And they do
00:10:38
Speaker 1: a lot of research and analysis before they even, you know,
00:10:42
Speaker 1: launch launch products. So what I do in terms of
00:10:44
Speaker 1: tactics is I spend a lot of time
00:10:47
Speaker 1: um unplugging myself, which is the next point I wanna
00:10:50
Speaker 1: mention the fifth way on how I continuously keep innovating
00:10:53
Speaker 1: is I unplug myself from business for at least 25
00:10:57
Speaker 1: 30 days. I use this time to go inwards. I
00:10:59
Speaker 1: use this time to channel to a higher energy and
00:11:02
Speaker 1: get a lot of downloads when I say download is
00:11:04
Speaker 1: when you're in a calm space and you're in a
00:11:06
Speaker 1: space where you really want to contribute. Uh And you
00:11:09
Speaker 1: go through a complete detox process where you're not in
00:11:12
Speaker 1: your work, but you're outside work and you are continuously
00:11:15
Speaker 1: looking at ways on how you can,
00:11:17
Speaker 1: you know, refresh yourself as a person, you'll get different
00:11:21
Speaker 1: ways to refresh your business. And that's what I do.
00:11:23
Speaker 1: I go for a, you know, retreat once in a
00:11:25
Speaker 1: year for 25 days in my sore and I go
00:11:27
Speaker 1: for a complete punch of Karma talks in the morning.
00:11:29
Speaker 1: I do a meditation session. When I come back, I
00:11:31
Speaker 1: get a bunch of ideas and then I note down
00:11:33
Speaker 1: those ideas and every day I like to note down
00:11:36
Speaker 1: 3456 ideas. So I have an idea document and many
00:11:40
Speaker 1: of the ideas are not yet ready to implement right now.
00:11:43
Speaker 1: And the best part is once these ideas keep building
00:11:46
Speaker 1: over time,
00:11:47
Speaker 1: you'll be in a position to pick whenever the right
00:11:49
Speaker 1: idea is applicable for that moment for you to start innovating.
00:11:55
Speaker 1: And then I do an event called Reboot once in
00:11:57
Speaker 1: a year where I reboot all my systems like in
00:11:59
Speaker 1: uh as I'm recording this podcast in 2023 on July 3rd.
00:12:02
Speaker 1: I did the reboot completely revamped systems, rebooted multiple things.
00:12:05
Speaker 1: We did a full day event from 10 a.m. to
00:12:07
Speaker 1: 4 p.m. where just like how apple they do a
00:12:10
Speaker 1: WW DC event. I completely, you know, innovated and launched
00:12:14
Speaker 1: many new products and,
00:12:15
Speaker 1: and stuff like that. So that has been a game
00:12:17
Speaker 1: changer for our community. And once I innovate, once I
00:12:22
Speaker 1: launch something, then I go back to the cocoon, I
00:12:24
Speaker 1: just go relax, refresh, think about what next. So my
00:12:27
Speaker 1: whole process of innovation are these five things? It starts
00:12:31
Speaker 1: from a core intent to it's uh focused on problems
00:12:35
Speaker 1: that I'm facing and my market is facing. And I
00:12:37
Speaker 1: look for no solutions based after a lot of testing,
00:12:40
Speaker 1: I look at uh connecting with my audience and doing
00:12:43
Speaker 1: surveys and polls to understand what is the need that
00:12:46
Speaker 1: they have. And then I'm always looking at what are
00:12:49
Speaker 1: the new tactics that are there that are working right
00:12:51
Speaker 1: now in the industry so that I can get the
00:12:53
Speaker 1: tactic or I can implement something or even improve the
00:12:56
Speaker 1: tactic that is already there because tactics is changing over time.
00:12:59
Speaker 1: Number five is the my best ideas come when I'm
00:13:03
Speaker 1: not in work. So it's very important that especially if
00:13:07
Speaker 1: you're in business, you've got to be in the cutting
00:13:09
Speaker 1: edge of innovation. Otherwise you are going to be um
00:13:12
Speaker 1: losing customers, you're going to be in a position where
00:13:15
Speaker 1: customers will get refreshed also. So it's not that once
00:13:19
Speaker 1: you have a customer, they're gonna be customers for life.
00:13:21
Speaker 1: They will always find new ways to find solutions for
00:13:24
Speaker 1: what they're looking for. But as long as you have
00:13:26
Speaker 1: the right intent and you're holding the space for them,
00:13:28
Speaker 1: uh they will come back to you whenever they, they
00:13:31
Speaker 1: feel that there's a need for reconnecting with you. So,
00:13:34
Speaker 1: my observance in the last five years is that our
00:13:37
Speaker 1: people come, people go. But as long as you are
00:13:40
Speaker 1: on the cutting edge of innovation where the party is,
00:13:42
Speaker 1: people will be there. And the best part is
00:13:46
Speaker 1: there's nothing better when it comes to innovation than getting
00:13:48
Speaker 1: results for others. If you can get help, if you
00:13:51
Speaker 1: can get others results fast, if you can help them,
00:13:54
Speaker 1: make progress fast, now, it does not have to be
00:13:56
Speaker 1: just money. But even if they're progressing internally externally and
00:13:59
Speaker 1: if they feel that connection with you, uh that's going
00:14:02
Speaker 1: to help you have customers for life. So I hope
00:14:04
Speaker 1: you found this podcast useful. I would like you to
00:14:06
Speaker 1: share your comments below on what you thought about this.
00:14:09
Speaker 1: And if you'd really like to be on the cutting
00:14:10
Speaker 1: edge of innovating like the way that I'm doing and
00:14:13
Speaker 1: uh to know what I'm doing, I would like you
00:14:16
