You will never be profitable if you launch a funnel in a weekend without understanding the soul of a funnel. In this podcast, I decode all the elements.

00:00:00

Speaker 1: Today, there's a lot of hype about funnels and you

00:00:03

Speaker 1: know what a lot of people, they think that funnels

00:00:05

Speaker 1: is just setting up systems and launching it in a

00:00:06

Speaker 1: weekend and stuff. But there's something more than this. I'm

00:00:09

Speaker 1: going to be decoding the body and soul of a

00:00:11

Speaker 1: profitable funnel.

00:00:13

Speaker 1: I've been building funnels for over 10 years.

00:00:16

Speaker 1: I still remember the first funnel that I built to

00:00:18

Speaker 1: fill a large room of over 1000 people was a

00:00:21

Speaker 1: funnel for Jack Canfield. And we also built a funnel

00:00:23

Speaker 1: for Robert Kyo Saki. And then later on, we built

00:00:25

Speaker 1: funnels that we are spending up to ┬г10 per day

00:00:29

Speaker 1: for it to Robbins funnel to fill the unleash the

00:00:31

Speaker 1: power with an event that used to be happening in

00:00:33

Speaker 1: London back in the year 2014, 15, 16, 3 consecutive years,

00:00:37

Speaker 1: we did that.

00:00:38

Speaker 1: So I have some experience on funnels and I have

00:00:41

Speaker 1: some data to prove to all of you that it

00:00:45

Speaker 1: is not just about the, you know, technology and tools

00:00:49

Speaker 1: and whatever comes with it. You know, today, there's a

00:00:51

Speaker 1: lot of hype in the market where you just come

00:00:53

Speaker 1: launch a funnel on the weekend and you know, just

00:00:56

Speaker 1: do something really quick and everybody is looking for a

00:00:59

Speaker 1: quick fix, right?

00:01:00

Speaker 1: And what happens is people who go through the journey,

00:01:02

Speaker 1: they start with so much of expectation that usually what

00:01:05

Speaker 1: ends up happening is that if the soul is missing,

00:01:08

Speaker 1: they fall flat. And the purpose of this podcast is

00:01:11

Speaker 1: to bring about an awareness in the market and to

00:01:13

Speaker 1: bring an awareness in our coaching community that you have

00:01:16

Speaker 1: to also analyze the soul of your funnel. Before you

00:01:19

Speaker 1: get into the body of the funnel, most people are

00:01:21

Speaker 1: only talking about the body of the funnel, the externals

00:01:23

Speaker 1: of the whole game.

00:01:25

Speaker 1: The internal game is what creates profitability and sustainability. The

00:01:28

Speaker 1: external game is what will help you launch Superfast using

00:01:31

Speaker 1: A I and technology tools. All of that is the

00:01:33

Speaker 1: easy part.

00:01:34

Speaker 1: So what I would like you to do is take

00:01:35

Speaker 1: a lot of notes. First part of this podcast, I'm

00:01:38

Speaker 1: going to be sharing with you on what are the

00:01:40

Speaker 1: six elements which would be falling under the soul of

00:01:43

Speaker 1: a funnel, which is the most important part. And then

00:01:46

Speaker 1: I'll talk to you about the seven elements of the

00:01:49

Speaker 1: body of the funnel. And that's the easy part which

00:01:51

Speaker 1: anybody can actually launch in a weekend in a, in

00:01:53

Speaker 1: a one week and probably within a month's time. Ok. Now,

00:01:56

Speaker 1: what is the funnel? Those of you are not very

00:01:58

Speaker 1: sure the funnel is nothing but

00:02:00

Speaker 1: a series of steps that can help you attract customers.

00:02:02

Speaker 1: Funnels are like filters. For example, the first stage of

00:02:05

Speaker 1: the funnel is where everybody gets to know about you.

00:02:08

Speaker 1: The second stage is they give their lead and their

00:02:10

Speaker 1: information to you. So they are interested and those are interested,

00:02:13

Speaker 1: they engage with you in some way or form, whether

00:02:15

Speaker 1: it's a workshop or a webinar where they convert into

00:02:17

Speaker 1: a customer, which is the third step of the funnel.

00:02:19

Speaker 1: And then once they become a customer, how do you

00:02:22

Speaker 1: get them to continue the journey with you down the

00:02:24

Speaker 1: line for any kind of a high ticket product? Or

00:02:26

Speaker 1: if those customers are going to be referring more customers

00:02:28

Speaker 1: to you, that will be the fourth stage of the funnel.

00:02:30

Speaker 1: So the first stage is awareness, then they engage, they

00:02:33

Speaker 1: buy and then they become repeat customers or they become

00:02:36

Speaker 1: high value customers, whether your lifetime value of your customer

00:02:39

Speaker 1: is really super high. So having said that let's talk

00:02:42

Speaker 1: about the soul of the fund group. Most people who

00:02:45

Speaker 1: fall flat is because they don't understand

00:02:48

Speaker 1: the reason why they are doing what they're doing. Like

00:02:50

Speaker 1: for me, my funnel has been working for the last

00:02:52

Speaker 1: five years without touching it is because my reason why

00:02:54

Speaker 1: it is very clear, I want to redefine our education

00:02:56

Speaker 1: employment system by creating a new breed of teachers because

00:02:59

Speaker 1: my backstory is congruent with what I'm whatever I'm actually teaching. Ok,

00:03:03

Speaker 1: I'm not just picked a topic because it's a trending topic.

00:03:05

Speaker 1: The reason why I'm helping others become a digital coach

00:03:08

Speaker 1: is because I'm a college dropout. I don't have a

00:03:09

Speaker 1: degree

00:03:10

Speaker 1: next to my name. So my reason why it is

00:03:12

Speaker 1: so strong that I can't do anything else in my life.

00:03:15

Speaker 1: You know, it has to be around education and probably

00:03:18

Speaker 1: the only other thing that I will do after this

00:03:19

Speaker 1: is to empower the next generation, you know, to really

00:03:22

Speaker 1: create more teen entrepreneurs, but it's all about digital entrepreneurship

00:03:25

Speaker 1: and to create a new breed of teachers and leaders,

00:03:28

Speaker 1: which is in alignment with what my mentor, bless singer.

00:03:31

Speaker 1: His vision is. So the soul of your funnel has

00:03:34

Speaker 1: to be congruent with your back story and your reason why,

00:03:38

Speaker 1: which leads me to the second factor, intention, intention is everything.

00:03:42

Speaker 1: It doesn't matter how talented you are. It does not

00:03:45

Speaker 1: matter how, how many tactics that you can teach, but

00:03:49

Speaker 1: why you're teaching that matters because the quality of your

00:03:52

Speaker 1: root will determine the quality of your fruit. If your

00:03:54

Speaker 1: intention is to extract from the market and just make

00:03:56

Speaker 1: a quick buck, you will make that quick buck.

00:03:59

Speaker 1: But over time, you won't, you won't have sustainability, you

00:04:01

Speaker 1: will fall flat later because the quality of your root

00:04:03

Speaker 1: is a quick extraction from the market. So the fruit

00:04:07

Speaker 1: will also be the same people come, they'll buy from

00:04:09

Speaker 1: you and then they will leave you very fast. Ok.

00:04:11

Speaker 1: So the profitability and sustainability of a funnel has a

00:04:15

Speaker 1: lot to do with your intentions, your core intentions. Number three,

00:04:20

Speaker 1: the way that you teach is more important than what

00:04:23

Speaker 1: you teach in your funnel.

00:04:25

Speaker 1: So the third aspect is the delivery style matters a lot.

00:04:28

Speaker 1: You know, you could be very good in your marketing

00:04:30

Speaker 1: and do all of your gimmicky stuff. But once they

00:04:33

Speaker 1: come into your world, and if they see that the

00:04:35

Speaker 1: way that you deliver information is kind of, you know,

00:04:37

Speaker 1: it's not really aligned, then they are going to move

00:04:40

Speaker 1: to another place. You may be good at sales, but

00:04:42

Speaker 1: you won't be able to sustain it. People will not

00:04:44

Speaker 1: stick around with you if the way you teach is not,

00:04:48

Speaker 1: is not on point, which leads me to the fourth point.

00:04:50

Speaker 1: The soul of a funnel is more than the way

00:04:53

Speaker 1: you teach. It is who you are as a person.

00:04:55

Speaker 1: And what is your personal value system?

00:04:58

Speaker 1: Now, intent is one thing. But what are your core beliefs?

00:05:02

Speaker 1: What do you stand for? Like for in our community?

00:05:06

Speaker 1: Our core beliefs are freedom, growth, clarity, efficiency, contribution, and speed.

00:05:12

Speaker 1: You know, we have all of these different aspects that

00:05:13

Speaker 1: are the core values of the community. But my personal

00:05:16

Speaker 1: core values are what family, freedom and service.

00:05:21

Speaker 1: Now my my entire persona and instead of being in

00:05:24

Speaker 1: my funnel is the flavor of my persona is can

00:05:28

Speaker 1: be felt in every aspect of my funnel, whether it's

00:05:30

Speaker 1: my content on youtube or my ads or it's my

00:05:33

Speaker 1: landing page or it's my webinar. When people come into

00:05:35

Speaker 1: my community, people, every single person can feel my value system,

00:05:39

Speaker 1: which is family, of course, the spirituality, the service and

00:05:43

Speaker 1: there's contribution.

00:05:44

Speaker 1: OK? So if your value system is not intact,

00:05:49

Speaker 1: you know, you will start to stink after a while, ok?

00:05:52

Speaker 1: You may, you may sell some tactics, but after some time,

00:05:54

Speaker 1: people will not vibe with you. Or in other words,

00:05:56

Speaker 1: even your vibe will attract your tribe. If you're somebody

00:05:59

Speaker 1: who's like a quick buck kind of a person, you'll

00:06:01

Speaker 1: attract similar kind of people and they'll not stick around

00:06:03

Speaker 1: with you for a long time, you'll make good money,

00:06:04

Speaker 1: that's fine. But then there won't be any sustainability in

00:06:07

Speaker 1: the funnel, ok? And you won't have raving fans or

00:06:10

Speaker 1: loyal fans and you can't buy that using ads, you

00:06:12

Speaker 1: can't buy trust, you have to earn it by having

00:06:16

Speaker 1: a strong value system.

00:06:17

Speaker 1: And the fifth, the sixth aspect of the soul of

00:06:20

Speaker 1: a funnel is your customer experience. That means from the

00:06:24

Speaker 1: moment they transact with you, how do they feel just

00:06:28

Speaker 1: like when you buy an apple product? Right? From the

00:06:30

Speaker 1: first moment, the customer experience is super high. Even Amazon,

00:06:33

Speaker 1: if you look at Amazon, the reason why it's the

00:06:34

Speaker 1: number one company in the world.

00:06:36

Speaker 1: One of the top companies in the world is because

00:06:38

Speaker 1: the number one priority for them is customer experience. And

00:06:41

Speaker 1: I've been hugely inspired by both Steve Jobs and Jeff Bezos.

00:06:43

Speaker 1: And even in my curriculum design formula inside my membership,

00:06:47

Speaker 1: I actually decode their mindset. Before we even create a product,

00:06:50

Speaker 1: we need to think about that. And I would say

00:06:52

Speaker 1: that that is my superpower

00:06:54

Speaker 1: compared to many other people doing similar things in the

00:06:57

Speaker 1: online space, in the coaching world, in the consulting world

00:06:59

Speaker 1: in high ticket world right now, I think what makes

00:07:01

Speaker 1: me different from others is because I'm very, very focused

00:07:04

Speaker 1: on creating a great product,

00:07:07

Speaker 1: most other systems over there, I'm sorry to say they're

00:07:09

Speaker 1: only focused on the tactics in the marketing side of

00:07:11

Speaker 1: the game. Not many people are focused on how do

00:07:13

Speaker 1: you build depth in product and usually building depth in

00:07:15

Speaker 1: product takes time. It is not a quick thing that happened.

00:07:18

Speaker 1: It may take six months or nine months to build

00:07:19

Speaker 1: something really solid.

00:07:21

Speaker 1: And that's what I'm propagating right from day. Number one,

00:07:23

Speaker 1: you know, first is work on yourself and then work

00:07:26

Speaker 1: on a really good product. And the marketing is the

00:07:28

Speaker 1: easy part.

00:07:30

Speaker 1: So that your reason why your intention, your delivery style,

00:07:33

Speaker 1: who you are, your value system, the the content that

00:07:37

Speaker 1: you actually create actually, that's number five, OK. Your content

00:07:40

Speaker 1: and your, the value that you're able to create and

00:07:42

Speaker 1: the breakthrough that you're able to create is number five

00:07:46

Speaker 1: and number six is the customer experience. These are the

00:07:48

Speaker 1: six factors which determine the profitability and sustainability of a

00:07:52

Speaker 1: funnel at a soul level is the soul of your funnel.

00:07:55

Speaker 1: Now, we'll come to the body of the funnel, which

00:07:56

Speaker 1: is the easy part. Now, the body of your funnel

00:07:59

Speaker 1: are what it is. Number one is the funnel entry.

00:08:02

Speaker 1: Meaning are you doing a webinar free webinar or a

00:08:04

Speaker 1: paid webinar or a workshop or a 1 to 1

00:08:06

Speaker 1: base or a VSL A video sales letter? All of

00:08:09

Speaker 1: that is the easy part you can choose depending on

00:08:10

Speaker 1: your topic in your niche. And I'm not,

00:08:12

Speaker 1: not really saying that one is better than the other.

00:08:14

Speaker 1: Everything works. You just need to pick the one that

00:08:15

Speaker 1: works for you. OK? And the reason why I recommend

00:08:18

Speaker 1: webinars for others is for that they get the hang of,

00:08:20

Speaker 1: you know, delivery, they're able to, you know, understand the

00:08:23

Speaker 1: audience better. They're able to deliver free value first and

00:08:26

Speaker 1: earn the right before they start to go into paid

00:08:28

Speaker 1: workshops and paid webinars.

00:08:30

Speaker 1: The second aspect of the body of the funnel is the,

00:08:32

Speaker 1: is the hook of the funnel. How attractive it is

00:08:35

Speaker 1: the attractiveness of the funnel. The third aspect of the

00:08:37

Speaker 1: body is the freshness of your funnel, meaning you may

00:08:41

Speaker 1: be teaching the same old topic. But if you're able

00:08:43

Speaker 1: to package it in a new fresh way which makes

00:08:45

Speaker 1: it curious for people to know more about it that

00:08:47

Speaker 1: also makes the funnel more attractive and it will start

00:08:49

Speaker 1: to work.

00:08:50

Speaker 1: The fourth aspect of your funnel is a design aesthetics

00:08:53

Speaker 1: of the funnel. You know, the fonts that you use,

00:08:55

Speaker 1: the colors that you use. Is it matching with the

00:08:57

Speaker 1: topic that you're teaching? And all of these come under

00:08:59

Speaker 1: the aesthetics. Number four, number five is the branding overall

00:09:02

Speaker 1: look and feel overall flavor of your entire funnel. This

00:09:06

Speaker 1: is beyond just the colors and fonts and logos. It's

00:09:08

Speaker 1: the brand positioning, the brand messaging the brand emotion. All

00:09:13

Speaker 1: of this would come under. Number five,

00:09:16

Speaker 1: number six are the technology and systems part, but they're

00:09:19

Speaker 1: using click funnels. They're using tag mango or you're using

00:09:22

Speaker 1: you swipe pages. All that is the easy part. There

00:09:24

Speaker 1: are so many tools and systems out there that's easy

00:09:26

Speaker 1: and most people get caught in this whole loop of

00:09:28

Speaker 1: which tool is the best tool. Honestly, according to me,

00:09:31

Speaker 1: any tool works, pick which one works for you. The

00:09:34

Speaker 1: whole thing is not about the tool, it's about the

00:09:36

Speaker 1: soul of the funnel and what problem that you're going

00:09:38

Speaker 1: to be solving so you can pick up any, any

00:09:40

Speaker 1: tool that is there. Yeah.

00:09:42

Speaker 1: And then finally we have the seventh aspect of your

00:09:45

Speaker 1: funnel are your ads, the video ads, the ad copy

00:09:49

Speaker 1: and multiple other things that are connected with that. So

00:09:52

Speaker 1: I hope I've been able to decode the body and

00:09:55

Speaker 1: soul of the funnel, the body of this, of the funnel,

00:09:57

Speaker 1: your funnel entry, the hook, the freshness, the design, the branding,

00:10:01

Speaker 1: the systems, as well as the ads. When you couple

00:10:04

Speaker 1: this with really powering up your inner core or, or

00:10:07

Speaker 1: your soul, you're gonna be moving to the next level

00:10:09

Speaker 1: in your game.

00:10:10

Speaker 1: So what I would like you to do is share

00:10:11

Speaker 1: your notes below over here and I can't wait to

00:10:14
