Speaker 1: this podcast? I want to share with you my perspective

Speaker 1: on the five stages of influence and how you need

Speaker 1: to really go through these different stages to truly influence somebody.

Speaker 1: So an influencer, some is according to me is not
00:00:29
Speaker 1: somebody who's popular,
00:00:32
Speaker 1: an influencer is somebody who is able to have a
00:00:34
Speaker 1: deep impression on a person who can shift their way
00:00:38
Speaker 1: of thinking and their life.
00:00:40
Speaker 1: Ok. They may not be a creator, creator. Like there
00:00:44
Speaker 1: are many people who are, you know, talking so much
00:00:47
Speaker 1: online but who have
00:00:49
Speaker 1: very less impact on their listeners.
00:00:53
Speaker 1: So according to me, an influencer is somebody who can
00:00:55
Speaker 1: have a deep impression on
00:00:58
Speaker 1: their audience and
00:01:01
Speaker 1: to such a point where the person's life can actually shift.
00:01:05
Speaker 1: That is an influencer. When you go back in time.
00:01:08
Speaker 1: There are many people, many saints in our time who
00:01:10
Speaker 1: have come in there have been moments where people have
00:01:12
Speaker 1: had just minutes of interaction with them and their life
00:01:14
Speaker 1: has completely transformed and shifted now that according to me
00:01:17
Speaker 1: is true influence because they are coming from a space
00:01:20
Speaker 1: of uh of purity, they're coming from a space of contribution.
00:01:25
Speaker 1: They are not having their own issues or layers or
00:01:27
Speaker 1: filters there,
00:01:29
Speaker 1: you know, coming from a zone of uh
00:01:31
Speaker 1: such transparency that what they say what they do the
00:01:36
Speaker 1: way they interact with the fellow, you know, person, it,
00:01:39
Speaker 1: it really impacts their life in a deep level. And
00:01:41
Speaker 1: I have experienced it with my own spiritual master and
00:01:44
Speaker 1: who's had a huge influence on me and the way
00:01:46
Speaker 1: that I think and my whole perspective of life with
00:01:48
Speaker 1: just a few moments of interaction with him. And many
00:01:51
Speaker 1: of you from the spiritual, you know, paths and different
00:01:53
Speaker 1: paths that you have been following, you might have had
00:01:55
Speaker 1: these experiences. And even if you come from a non-religious,
00:01:58
Speaker 1: you know, a background that could be,
00:02:01
Speaker 1: that could have been moments in your life where um
00:02:06
Speaker 1: some person or let's say nature or you experience something
00:02:10
Speaker 1: that really shifted you internally and, and that influenced you
00:02:14
Speaker 1: to think on a totally different paradigm.
00:02:16
Speaker 1: So if you have to be a true influencer, I'm
00:02:20
Speaker 1: not talking about the creator influencer.
00:02:23
Speaker 1: The first stage is intention.
00:02:25
Speaker 1: Like even if you go and see the different kinds
00:02:28
Speaker 1: of ceremonies that normally we do, let's say before a
00:02:31
Speaker 1: marriage ceremony in a traditional Indian wedding is we do
00:02:33
Speaker 1: something called as a Sun Kalpa. OK? Or, or before
00:02:36
Speaker 1: you're doing a prayer or a heaven or any kind of,
00:02:39
Speaker 1: uh you know,
00:02:40
Speaker 1: any kind of spiritual activity, we normally set the intention.
00:02:47
Speaker 1: And actually, if you see in our Indian Vedic traditions,
00:02:50
Speaker 1: they also take the Sun Kalpa and you have to
00:02:54
Speaker 1: give the name of your lineage. OK. What we call
00:02:57
Speaker 1: as a Gora, I know what is your lineage and
00:03:00
Speaker 1: then the name of the person and the Nakshatra of
00:03:02
Speaker 1: the person and the star of that particular person. But
00:03:04
Speaker 1: what was the star that they are born?
00:03:06
Speaker 1: So to that extent, you can actually set an intention
00:03:11
Speaker 1: which is pointed towards a specific person in a specific
00:03:14
Speaker 1: lineage born under a specific star. Now, how does it work?
00:03:19
Speaker 1: I do not know, but it's been something that has
00:03:20
Speaker 1: been going on for thousands and thousands of years where
00:03:23
Speaker 1: before any family function or any function for that matter,
00:03:26
Speaker 1: intention is very key. Now, the same happens even in business, right?
00:03:31
Speaker 1: If you want to be an influencer, you need to
00:03:33
Speaker 1: know why you want to do this.
00:03:35
Speaker 1: I've had a friend of mine who's a very renowned
00:03:38
Speaker 1: astrologer and he has mapped out charts of countries like
00:03:42
Speaker 1: when India was formed in the year 1947 he actually
00:03:45
Speaker 1: mapped out the chart for India based on the time
00:03:48
Speaker 1: of its inception and he was able to
00:03:51
Speaker 1: correlate and come up with the traits of a country
00:03:54
Speaker 1: as compared to say Pakistan, which was, you know, they
00:03:57
Speaker 1: had their independence maybe the next day or a few
00:03:59
Speaker 1: hours later. And its chart was different. So it is
00:04:02
Speaker 1: going through a different set of challenges as compared to India. Ok.
00:04:07
Speaker 1: So
00:04:08
Speaker 1: why am I sharing this with you? Is
00:04:11
Speaker 1: intention has such a huge role to play in the
00:04:14
Speaker 1: way that you influence somebody. Intention is everything.
00:04:18
Speaker 1: So some culpa is why are you doing what you're doing?
00:04:21
Speaker 1: Is it for your self interest or is it for
00:04:24
Speaker 1: contributing and giving back at a very core level? This
00:04:27
Speaker 1: is something that I mean, you can't bullshit yourself on this.
00:04:30
Speaker 1: You got to really get real and, and find that
00:04:33
Speaker 1: and the best part is even if you start with
00:04:34
Speaker 1: an intention, just with, you know, with a self centered intention,
00:04:37
Speaker 1: it can be purified over time once you are able
00:04:40
Speaker 1: to understand that for me, because that's the case. I
00:04:42
Speaker 1: want to just make money, make money, make money. And
00:04:43
Speaker 1: then
00:04:44
Speaker 1: when I came in contact with my mentor Blair singer
00:04:47
Speaker 1: and he and he, you know, really drove in the
00:04:48
Speaker 1: point that it is not about you, it is about
00:04:50
Speaker 1: them and how teachers are leaders and all that stuff.
00:04:53
Speaker 1: It really shifted my whole
00:04:56
Speaker 1: paradigm view of building a business and teaching and leading
00:05:00
Speaker 1: and so on. It's a very different school of thought.
00:05:03
Speaker 1: The second stage of influence is intuition.
00:05:08
Speaker 1: I think I've said this in a few of my
00:05:09
Speaker 1: other colleges. When your intention is pure, your intuition
00:05:14
Speaker 1: gets activated. It's not that your intuition won't be there
00:05:18
Speaker 1: if your intention is not pure, but then it won't
00:05:20
Speaker 1: be the right.
00:05:22
Speaker 1: It's not a guided intuition. It's not an intuition where
00:05:26
Speaker 1: it's really gonna make a difference and so on. OK?

Speaker 1: Le let's put it this way
00:05:30
Speaker 1: when,
00:05:31
Speaker 1: when you have a child,
00:05:35
Speaker 1: let's say you have done a conscious conception where you
00:05:38
Speaker 1: consciously think about what kind of a child that you
00:05:41
Speaker 1: want and you go to the conscious pregnancy process. And
00:05:44
Speaker 1: then when the child is born,
00:05:47
Speaker 1: the the mental makeup and the spiritual makeup and the
00:05:51
Speaker 1: overall what the child is made of, it's very different
00:05:55
Speaker 1: compared to a child that might have been born in ignorance.

Speaker 1: That's the parents, they conceive the child and they did
00:06:04
Speaker 1: not plan the child, but the child just happened and
00:06:07
Speaker 1: that child or that soul that's coming in, it has
00:06:10
Speaker 1: a different, you know, uh thought process. OK?
00:06:14
Speaker 1: Similarly,
00:06:16
Speaker 1: when your intentions are clear, your intuition gets activated on
00:06:20
Speaker 1: a whole different level. It's not that the child is
00:06:24
Speaker 1: bad or good. It's just that the clarity that the
00:06:27
Speaker 1: child would have if it's brought into this world consciously,
00:06:32
Speaker 1: it would be far different compared to the, you know,
00:06:35
Speaker 1: Children are brought, brought into this world. Without that,
00:06:39
Speaker 1: that kind of conscious conception and that's how I wanna,
00:06:42
Speaker 1: you know, decode intuition. Intuition is like giving birth to
00:06:46
Speaker 1: new ideas. And these are all guided intuitions. OK?
00:06:50
Speaker 1: The third stage of influence,
00:06:53
Speaker 1: when your intention is pure, you'll start to get downloads
00:06:56
Speaker 1: from different places.
00:06:58
Speaker 1: By the way, even this what I'm sharing with you

Speaker 1: uh when I was in Mysore for like 15 days,
00:07:03
Speaker 1: I was just thinking about what is influence and these
00:07:06
Speaker 1: five points came, OK? It was just like a download
00:07:08
Speaker 1: and I'll be sharing that with you in this podcast.

Speaker 1: The third stage of influence
00:07:13
Speaker 1: is faith.
00:07:15
Speaker 1: Sometimes we get the intuitions but we don't believe in it.
00:07:18
Speaker 1: We'll be like, oh whatever, you know, and life is too.

Speaker 1: What do you say
00:07:24
Speaker 1: life is too noisy that we don't really listen to
00:07:27
Speaker 1: our inner core.
00:07:29
Speaker 1: So we need to have faith in ourselves. We need
00:07:32
Speaker 1: to have faith in our own intuitions
00:07:36
Speaker 1: and then comes 1/4 stage is action
00:07:40
Speaker 1: when you are guided internally
00:07:44
Speaker 1: and you believe in yourself and the message that comes
00:07:48
Speaker 1: to you because you have the right intention. And when
00:07:51
Speaker 1: you take action in that mode,
00:07:55
Speaker 1: that's what will create an impact. That is stage number five,
00:07:58
Speaker 1: an impact is it may just be a few things
00:08:01
Speaker 1: that you're telling somebody, but it just lands, just goes
00:08:04
Speaker 1: really deep into somebody's, you know, into their tissues. OK?
00:08:08
Speaker 1: And when they hear it, they just feel what you're
00:08:11
Speaker 1: saying
00:08:12
Speaker 1: now that is influence. But if you look at most
00:08:15
Speaker 1: of the influencers today in the digital world, intentions are
00:08:18
Speaker 1: all over the place.
00:08:20
Speaker 1: I'm not sure they get it intuitively.
00:08:22
Speaker 1: I don't know if they even believe in themselves. They
00:08:24
Speaker 1: just wanted, this is taking action for the sake of something.
00:08:27
Speaker 1: They are having an impact. They are having reach, they
00:08:30
Speaker 1: are having views, they are having, you know, the popularity
00:08:33
Speaker 1: and they're going through, they've understood the sign of the game.
00:08:37
Speaker 1: But is it really making a difference to
00:08:42
Speaker 1: the person's life who's listening to it? That is questionable?
00:08:46
Speaker 1: And it, it can vary from person to person. Ok.
00:08:48
Speaker 1: It can vary from, to what, to what depth is
00:08:51
Speaker 1: that person working on themselves. So in other words,
00:08:55
Speaker 1: the deeper you work on yourself,
00:08:57
Speaker 1: the wider your impact can be
00:09:00
Speaker 1: true influence
00:09:02
Speaker 1: is only when you go to these five stages of intention, intuition, faith,
00:09:07
