[00:00:19] Many MSME entrepreneurs struggle with inconsistent revenue and slow business growth but what if I told you that the biggest root block isn't external, it's internal? Yes, your mindset and beliefs can either propel your business forward or keep it stuck in survival mode. In today's episode, we will explore key beliefs that can unlock your business's full growth potential.

[00:00:45] If you have ever wondered why some businesses thrive while others plateau, this episode is for you. Let's get started. Before we jump into specific beliefs, let's talk about why beliefs matter in business. 1. Your beliefs shape your decisions. If you believe that success is limited, you will hesitate to take bold actions.

[00:01:15] 2. Your beliefs influence your strategy. If you think that MSME can't scale fast, you might never implement a high growth strategy. 3. Your beliefs affect your confidence. If you doubt yourself, you may not take calculated risks or invest in your own growth.

[00:01:35] Let me share an example. Say you are a small B2B distribution company and you believe that only large firms could get international clients. If you have this belief, will you ever explore global markets? But once you shift your belief and start marketing internationally, you will land a huge export contract that may even double your revenue.

[00:02:02] So the TKO is your beliefs either empower or limit your business growth. Now let's dive into unveiling the 5 key beliefs that will unlock business growth. 1. My business is an asset, not just a job. Many MSME owners treat their business as a job. They work in it rather than on it.

[00:02:30] They work in it so much. They do not want it. They work in it. They are a kind of architecturally, the company. They are a good mother, but they left to get an away-little bit of business growth shift. Give them that you should look for. You should have some success. 4. Your business is a good heures to go. They are a good leader. 1. The team is a big table for a goal for the business. 1. Your business is a good job that will take it some sort of business. 2. Start a regular business in it or shop, which is a good job you should for a business model. In an online business industry, you should be an example.

[00:03:00] business valuation and growth, not just daily profits. Here is an example. If you are a system integrator, you may think of restructuring your operations so that your team could handle projects independently. This will free them to focus on expanding their market reach which can surely result in a 30% revenue growth within a year.

[00:03:28] 2. Pricing is about value, not just cost. Many MSME owners fear that higher prices will drive customers away, leading them to undervalue their products and services. But customers don't buy based on price alone, they buy based on perceived value. Here is the growth shift. Instead of competing on price, compete on quality, experience and impact.

[00:03:59] Position your product or service as a premium offering. Highlight the transformation or solution your product provides. Increase perceived value through testimonials, branding and guarantees. Let me share an example. Assume that you are in MSME selling customized packaging solutions. You can think of increasing your pricing by 15% but you added free branding consultation as

[00:04:29] part of your offer. What could be the result? Customers will perceive higher value and the business can increase its profitability without losing clients. Please try it out. Belief number 3. Marketing is an investment, not an expense. A lot of MSME entrepreneurs hesitated to invest in marketing, thinking it's an unnecessary cost. But without effective marketing, even the best products won't sell.

[00:04:58] Here is the growth shift. Every rupee spent on marketing should be seen as an investment in future revenue. So, create a monthly marketing budget even if it is small. Track ROI on marketing campaigns and define strategies and focus on customer acquisition and retention marketing. Let me give an example.

[00:05:23] Think of a B2B service provider who can start running LinkedIn ads with a small budget. Initially, the response will be slow but over 6 months, they can surely generate 5x returns on their ad spend and can build consistent lead flow. So, if you fall into such business, why don't you try it out? Belief number 4.

[00:05:51] Scaling is about systems, not just more work. Many entrepreneurs think that growth means more work, more clients, more hours, more stress. But real scaling happens when you optimize and automate. So, the growth shift what is needed is build systems that enable scaling without burning out.

[00:06:14] So, automate lead generation, follow-ups and sales tracking, streamline operations through SOPs and workflows, use technology to reduce manual workload and increase efficiency. Let me give an example. Think of a distribution MSME struggling with manual invoicing and inventory tracking. By shifting to an automated inventory and billing system, they can reduce order errors by as high

[00:06:41] as 40% and can double their fulfillment speed. Belief number 5. Failure is data, not defect. Many MSMEs fear failure so much that they avoid taking calculated risks. But every failed attempt is an opportunity to learn and improve. So, the growth shift required is see failures as data points that guide better decisions.

[00:07:11] Hence, track every failed attempt and extract insights. Iterate and improve based on what worked and what didn't. Embrace innovation. Test new ideas even if they don't work the first time. Let me give an example. Imagine you are in MSME launching a new product and found that it has low initial sales.

[00:07:36] Instead of giving up, you can gather customer feedback, adjust your messaging and relaunch, which is surely going to lead to a successful second attempt. So, here are the key takeaways and final thoughts. The way you think about your business shapes your success.
