[00:00:41] give his sample for the top test during recent trials.

[00:00:47] Two men were lynched in Meghalaya's eastern West Kashi Hills district for allegedly trying

[00:00:52] to rape a 17-year-old girl.

[00:01:34] A day after three Indian nationals were charged with the murder of Khalistan separatist

[00:01:39] Nijah, a Canadian citizen, was shot dead outside a Gurudwara in Surrey, British Columbia

[00:01:45] on June 18, 2023.

[00:01:48] Current Brack, Kamal Preet Singh and current Preet Singh, all Indian nationals residing

[00:01:54] in Edmonton, were charged on Friday with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit

[00:01:59] murder.

[00:02:00] Trudeau said that many in Canada's Sikh community are feeling unsafe following Nijah's

[00:02:06] killing.

[00:02:07] Ties between India and Canada came under severe strain following Trudeau's allegations

[00:02:11] in September last year of the potential involvement of Indian agents in the killing

[00:02:16] of 45-year-old Nijah, a Khalistan separatist.

[00:02:21] India has dismissed Trudeau's charges as absurd and motivated.

[00:02:27] Wrestler Bishan Puneer has been handed a proportional suspension for refusing to

[00:02:31] give his sample for the top test during recent trials.

[00:02:35] The Wrestling Federation of India is furious that the National Anti-Topping Agency kept

[00:02:40] it in the dark on the development and is planning to write to the World Anti-Topping

[00:02:45] Agency on the matter.

[00:02:46] Bajrang was handed a proportional suspension on April 23 by the National Anti-Topping

[00:02:51] Agency and asked to send his reply by May 7 to avoid further disciplinary action.

[00:02:57] The trials to pick the men's national team for the Asian Olympic college fields in

[00:03:01] Bishkek were held in Saunapath on March 10 and Bajrang had walked off the venue without

[00:03:07] providing his urine sample after losing his butt.

[00:03:11] Reacting to his suspension, Bajrang said he never refused to provide his sample

[00:03:15] to NADA officials.

[00:03:19] Two men were lynched in Meghalaya's eastern West Khashi Hills district for

[00:03:23] allegedly trying to rape a 17-year-old girl on Saturday.

[00:03:27] The girl alleged that she was in her home when the duo attacked her with a knife

[00:03:31] and tried to rape her.

[00:03:33] According to police, when hearing the girl's screams, neighbors gathered at the sport and

[00:03:38] called hold of the two.

[00:03:40] About 1,500 people then took them to a nearby community hall and assaulted them

[00:03:45] there.

[00:03:46] When the police reached the spot, the crowd didn't allow the officials to take

[00:03:50] them into custody.

[00:03:51] While the police were negotiating with the community leaders, the mob broke into

[00:03:55] the community hall and thrashed the accused.

[00:03:58] They were rushed to a hospital for treatment where they were declared dead on arrival.

[00:04:05] Hamas leaders held a second day of truce talks with Egyptian and Qatari mediators

[00:04:10] on Sunday, with no apparent progress reported as the Islamist group maintained its

[00:04:15] demand that any agreement must end the war in Gaza, Palestinian officials said.

[00:04:21] Israel wants a deal to free at least some of the around 130 hostages held by Hamas

[00:04:26] Israeli officials signaled on Saturday that its core position was unchanged, saying Israel

[00:04:33] would under no circumstances agree to a deal to end the war, which it has pursued,

[00:04:38] intending to disarm and dismantle Hamas for good.

[00:04:42] The war began after Hamas turned Israel with a cross-border raid on October 7,

[00:04:48] in which 1,200 people were killed and 252 hostages taken, according to Israeli

[00:04:54] tallies.

[00:04:55] More than 34,600 Palestinians have been killed and more than 77,000 have been

[00:05:02] wanted in Israel's assault, according to Gaza's health ministry.

[00:05:07] The bombardment has devastated much of the coastal enclave and caused a humanitarian

[00:05:11] crisis.

[00:05:12] As cautious summer continued to grip Kerala, the Indian Meteorological

[00:05:18] Department has sounded a yellow alert for all districts except Wyanat and

[00:05:23] Redouki from Sunday to Tuesday.

[00:05:25] Though a yellow alert is sounded, the Meteorological Department has withdrawn

[00:05:28] the heatwave warning issued for Palakkad and other districts after summer

[00:05:32] rains lashed several parts of the state.

[00:05:35] April witnessed record-smashing maximum temperatures in East,

[00:05:39] North East and South Peninsular India, prompting health warnings from

[00:05:44] government agencies and some states to suspend in-person classes and

[00:05:48] schools.

[00:05:49] At the same time, IMD has predicted light to moderate rainfall in

[00:05:54] isolated places of Tiruvananthapuram, Kowallam, Patanathitta, Kottayam,

[00:05:58] Ernakulam and Eduki districts on Sunday.

[00:06:01] A yellow alert for rain is sounded for Ernakulam and Wyanat on

[00:06:05] Wednesday and Thursday respectively.
