[00:00:18] Three damaged idols were found inside the well of the Bhasma Shankar Temple in UP Sambhal that was reopened last week after being shut for 46 years, officials said on Monday.
[00:00:28] The Shri Kartik Mahadev Temple was reopened on Dec 13 after the authorities said they stumbled upon the covered structure during an anti-encroachment drive.
[00:00:35] The temple housed an idol of Lord Hanuman and a shivling. It had remained locked since 1978.
[00:00:42] The temple also has a well nearby which the authorities had planned to reopen.
[00:00:46] The temple is situated in the Khaggu Sarai area, just over a kilometer from the Shahi Jama Masjid where violence took place on November 24 during a protest over a court-ordered survey of the mosque.
[00:00:57] Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said the Congress Party carried out major amendments to the constitution to brazenly help the family and the dynasty.
[00:01:05] She also termed the Congress Party as anti-women for not passing the Women's Reservation Bill under pressure of its coalition partners.

[00:02:10] Zakir Hussain, the exuberant maestro of tabla who once called the instrument his mate, brother and friend and embodied the universality of music in his 60-year career, died in a San Francisco hospital early Monday.

[00:02:23] Hussain, the globally recognized musician and one of India's most celebrated, was suffering from idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, a lung disease, his family said in a statement.
[00:02:31] Regarded as the greatest tabla player of his generation, Hussain is survived by his wife Antonia Minacola and their daughters Anissa Kudeshi and Isabella Kudeshi.
[00:02:41] Kerala Blasters fired head coach Mikhail Stare along with his assistants beyond Westrom and Federico Pereira-Mureis.
[00:02:48] The decision came after the Blasters suffered a fifth defeat in their last six Indian Super League matches.
