[00:01:01] Let's get into the details. The Bihar police's economic offences unit on Saturday claimed to have obtained reference question papers of the tests conducted by National Testing Agency. They are probing the alleged neat UG paper leak case and are apparently planning to
[00:01:19] compare the reference question papers with documents recovered last month from a flat in Patna. The unit is also exploring the possibility of conducting narco-analysis and brain mapping tests of some of the arrested, police sources said. They also indicated that the enforcement directorate might investigate the money laundering
[00:01:38] aspect of the alleged irregularities in the neat test. On Saturday, the Bihar police detained six people from Jharkhand's Deokhar district in connection with the same. The unit had arrested 13 people last month as well as part of its investigation into the case.
[00:01:56] Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education said it has constituted a high-level committee of experts led by former ISRO chief K Radhakrishnan. This is to ensure transparent, smooth and fair conduct of examinations through the National Testing Agency. The committee will make recommendations on reforms in the mechanism of the examination
[00:02:17] process, improvement in data security, protocols and the structure and functioning of the agency. The death toll in the Kallakuruchi Hooch tragedy rose to 53 on Saturday. [00:04:00] a note saying, ''Bomb'' on one of his seats. It was found by the ground staff before boarding commenced, a senior airport official said. Subsequently, the police were alerted, the aircraft was grounded and the bomb detection squad carried out a thorough inspection of the plane.
[00:04:18] It was later found that the note was a Hawks bomb threat and the police is investigating who left it on the plane. The India Meteorological Department has revised its rain forecast as several parts of Kerala, especially the northern districts, continued to record heavy rainfall.
[00:04:37] A red alert was sounded for Malapuram on Saturday as extremely heavy rainfall above 204.4 mm was expected within 24 hours. Most of the districts are likely to witness thunderstorms accompanied by high winds and lightning till June 26. Coastal residents are advised to exercise extreme caution as there are chances for
[00:04:59] high tidal waves. IMD has sounded red, orange and yellow alert in various districts in the next five days.
