[00:01:28] test flight of its home-built 3D-printed semi-cryogenic rocket, Akhni Ban, from
[00:01:33] its own launch pad at Sriharikota, making it India's second private entity to do

[00:01:54] With the onset of the monsoon, IMD has revised its forecast and sounded an orange
[00:01:59] alert in Alpura, Kottayam and Ernakulam on Thursday.
[00:02:03] All other districts are placed under a yellow alert.
[00:02:07] Kerala has been receiving heavy rains for the past few days, resulting in a
[00:02:11] surplus of May rainfall, the weather office data showed.
[00:02:15] The normal monsoon onset date for Kerala is June 1, and for Arunachal Pradesh,
[00:02:20] Tripura, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur and Assam is June 5.
[00:02:29] Seven people were killed and 25 injured after a bus carrying pilgrims skidded
[00:02:33] off the road and rolled down into a gorge in Jammu district on Thursday, officials
[00:02:38] said.
[00:02:39] The bus rolled around 150 feet down into the gorge.
[00:02:44] The vehicle was carrying pilgrims from the Kurukshetra area of Haryana to the
[00:02:48] Shivkori area in Jammu, Kashmir's Raissi district.
[00:02:51] A rescue operation involving police and locals have been launched and the
[00:02:55] injured have been shifted to the Akhnoor Hospital and Government Medical
[00:02:59] College Hospital in Jammu, the officials said.
[00:03:04] In a major development in the probe into the Porsche car crash that killed two,
[00:03:10] the Pune Police started investigating the role of Shivani Vishal Agarwal,
[00:03:14] the mother of the teenager, accused in the case for allegedly changing the
[00:03:18] blood sample of his son at the hospital.
[00:03:21] According to some media reports, police officials said that Sassoon
[00:03:25] General Hospital authorities who had checked the minor boy's blood
[00:03:28] samples into a dustbin on May 19 had allegedly taken the blood sample
[00:03:32] of his mother and two others present there that day.
[00:03:36] Taking a serious view of the lapses that are emerging, the police
[00:03:40] shall collect the blood samples of the woman and proceed against her
[00:03:43] in the matter after securing the necessary legal clearances.
[00:03:46] Hours ahead of JDSMB Prachwal Ravanna's scheduled return from Ebb road
[00:03:54] to face the law over sexual abuse allegations, the Karnataka
[00:03:58] government on Thursday said the next course of action, such as
[00:04:01] cancellation of his passport, will follow if he fails to show up as promised.
[00:04:05] Prachwal, facing charges of sexually abusing several women, had
[00:04:10] said in a video statement earlier this week that he will return on
[00:04:13] May 31 and appear before a special investigation team probing the case.
[00:04:19] He has booked a ticket for a private flight from
[00:04:22] Munich that is scheduled to land here on Friday.
[00:04:25] On Thursday, State Home Minister G. Parameshwar said that in case,
[00:04:30] Prachwal Ravanna does not return to the country on May 31 as stated.
[00:04:34] Further action, such as cancellation of his passport, will follow.
[00:04:38] Prachwal will be arrested upon his return and the legal process
[00:04:41] will be initiated, he added.

[00:04:49] successfully carried out a suborbital test flight of its homebuilt
[00:04:54] 3D-printed semi-cryogenic rocket Akhniban from its own launch
[00:04:58] pad at Sreehari Kota, making it India's second private entity to do so.
[00:05:03] After four unsuccessful attempts, the test flight of
[00:05:07] Akhniban suborbital technology demonstrator on Thursday took place at 7.15 am,
[00:05:13] without any live streaming and in the presence of fewer dignitaries at the
[00:05:17] Sreehari Kota launch pad located within ISRO's Sadesh Devan Space Centre.
[00:05:23] Akhnikul is looking at flying an orbital mission towards the end of the financial year 2025.
[00:05:29] Hyderabad-based Skyroot Aerospace was the first private entity in
[00:05:33] India to launch its suborbital rocket Vikram S in Nambur, 2022.
