[00:01:33] The 66-year-old NCP leader was violated by three persons at Kher Nagar in Mumbai's Bandra area, just outside his MLS and Sishan Siddiques' office and shot at on Saturday night.

[00:01:44] According to a police official, they have come across a viral post on social media in the name of an alleged member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claiming responsibility for Baba Siddiques' murder.

[00:01:54] Mumbai police has launched a probe into the killing of the ex-Maharashtra minister from different agencies including a possible contract killing, business rivalry or threat over a slum rehabilitation project.

[00:02:04] Meanwhile, opposition parties in Maharashtra said the murder of Baba Siddiques was shocking and shameful for the state and claimed there was anarchy in Mumbai.

[00:02:13] However, the BG press said that those involved in the killing will not be spared and slam the opposition parties for indulging in petty politics on the crime.

[00:02:22] US officials believe Israel has narrowed on targets in its potential response to Iran's attack this month to military and energy infrastructure, the National Broadcasting Company reported on Saturday.

[00:02:32] The Middle East remains on high alert for further escalation in a year of war as Israel attacks Iran-backed groups Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza.

[00:03:09] The body of ex-DU professor, G. N. Sai Baba, who passed away in Hyderabad, will be donated to a hospital as he wished, said a statement issued by his family on Sunday.

[00:03:18] Sai Baba was released from an Akkur jail after 10 years in March this year.

[00:03:23] He was released after being acquitted by the High Court in an alleged Maoist links case.

[00:03:28] Sai Baba's body will be kept at Jawarnagar, Hyderabad for his relatives' friends and well-wishers to pay homage on Monday.

[00:03:36] Afterwards, his body will be donated to a hospital as per his wishes.

[00:03:40] His eyes have already been donated to Elvi Prasad Eye Hospital, the family said in a statement.

[00:04:51] This typically started with the mantra, Hari Sri Ganapateya Namaha, at temples and cultural centres across the state.

[00:04:57] Kerala Governor Arif Mohamad Khan initiated many children into the world of letters at the Raj Bhavan, where elaborate arrangements for the ceremony were made.
