[00:01:17] Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan received a death threat and a demand for Rs 50 lakh, Mumbai police said on Thursday, adding an extortion case has been filed in this connection.

[00:01:26] The Mumbai police have also summoned a man from Raipur in this connection, a senior police officer from the Chhattisgarh capital said.

[00:01:33] The threat to Shah Rukh Khan follows a series of threats issued to fellow actor Salman Khan allegedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

[00:01:39] As part of the investigation into the threat to Shah Rukh Khan, Mumbai police visited Raipur and summoned a man identified as Fayyaz Khan.

[00:01:47] As per preliminary information, the threat called to the actor was made from a phone number registered in the name of Fayyaz.

[00:01:53] The Israeli Defense Ministry said on Thursday it had signed an agreement to acquire 25 next-generation F-15 fighter jets from Boeing.

[00:02:01] It said the $5.2 billion agreement was part of a broader package of U.S. aid approved by the U.S. administration and Congress earlier this year

[00:02:08] and included an option for 25 additional aircraft.

[00:02:12] Delivery of the new F-15 IA aircraft will begin in 2031 with four to six aircraft to be supplied annually, it said.

[00:02:19] The aircraft will be equipped with weapon systems integrated with existing Israeli weapons as well as having increased range and payloads.

[00:02:26] Director General of the Defense Ministry Eyal Zahmir said the Israeli government has secured procurement agreements worth nearly $40 billion since the onset of the war in Gaza that began on October 7, 2023.

[00:02:40] Palestinians logged in war with Israel for more than a year to express fear Donald Trump's return to the White House,

[00:02:45] while the leaders of the militant group Hamas and the Palestinian Authority urged him to act for peace.

[00:02:50] In Khan Yunus, in the southern Gaza Strip, Abu Osama, a man displaced by unrelenting Israeli bombardments,

[00:03:39] but it called for an end to the blind support for Israel from the United States.

[00:03:45] In a major development in the jet airways insolvency saga,

[00:03:48] the Supreme Court on Thursday ordered the grounded airlines liquidation for future of the Rs. 200 crore infused by successful bidder Jalen Caldra Consortium

[00:03:56] and permit to the lenders led by SBI to end cash Rs. 150 crore performance bank guarantee.

[00:04:03] Invoking its extraordinary powers under Article 142 of the Constitution,

[00:04:07] a bench compressing Chief Justice D.Y. Chandrachodh and Justices J.B. Pardewala and Manoj Mishra

[00:04:12] put the curtains down on the insolvency proceedings of the airlines

[00:05:07] The ruling left has alleged that the kits were brought for distribution to voters

[00:05:11] in an attempt to influence them in favour of the Congress in the November 13th by-poll.

[00:05:15] The kit was labelled for distribution to landslide victims.

[00:05:18] However, the Congress said these are the same kits previously brought in

[00:05:21] for distribution to the survivors of the Vyanad landslide disaster on July 30th.
