[00:00:20] Janta Jals Secular on Tuesday suspended its Hassan MP Prajwal Rehwanna from the party
[00:00:27] with immediate effect over alleged sex scandal involving him.
[00:00:31] Prajwal is the BJP JD's alliance's candidate from Hassan which went to polls on April 26th.
[00:00:38] A charge sheet filed by the CBI revealed that prior to the May 3rd, 2023 incident in Manipur
[00:00:43] where two Kuki women were assaulted and paraded naked by a mob, they sought help from the
[00:00:48] police who refused to help them claiming their vehicle had no key.
[00:00:53] Around 16 leaders including Telangana Chief Minister Ravendra Reddy in seven states were
[00:00:57] summoned by Delhi Police in connection with the doctored video of Union Home Minister
[00:01:01] Amit Shah.
[00:01:04] Prishap Panth, Shivan Dubey and Sanju Samson made it to India's 15-player squad for
[00:01:08] the Jals-Mendi 4T20 World Cup which kicks off on June 1st in the USA and West Indies.

[00:01:22] The Janta Jals Secular on Tuesday suspended its Hassan MP Prajwal Rehwanna from the party
[00:01:27] over alleged involvement in a sex scandal.
[00:01:30] The court committee of JDS recommended the suspension of the party's national president
[00:01:33] and former Prime Minister H.T. Devagawda.
[00:01:36] Prajwal is the BJP JD's alliance's candidate from Hassan which went to polls
[00:01:40] on April 26th.
[00:01:42] The 33-year-old Prajwal Rehwanna is the son of HD Devagawda's elder son HD Rehwanna who
[00:01:46] is in MLA and a former minister.
[00:01:49] Meanwhile, Rehwanna's former car driver Karthik and BJP leader G. Devraj Gowda accused each
[00:01:54] other of leaking the alleged sleaze videos of the MP causing embarrassment to the regional
[00:01:58] party.
[00:01:59] The Karnataka government formed a three-member special investigation team, led by A.D.
[00:02:03] J.B.
[00:02:04] B.K.
[00:02:05] Singh to probe allegations of sexual harassment against Prajwal who is reportedly in Germany.
[00:02:10] The Central Bureau of Investigation's charge sheet has revealed that, just before the incident
[00:02:14] in Manipur in May 3rd last year, where two quick women were sexually assaulted and pitted
[00:02:18] naked by a mob of men.
[00:02:20] The two of them managed to get into a police gypsy.
[00:02:22] However, the police refused to help them claiming there was no key in the car.
[00:02:26] Two male victims also got into the gypsy but the police let the scene that the mob
[00:02:30] pulled the victims out of the gypsy to assault them according to C.B.
[00:02:33] a charge sheet accessed by the Indian Express.
[00:02:36] The charge sheet was filed before a special court in Guwahati against six people
[00:02:39] and a juvenile in October.
[00:02:41] A case was registered by the CBI on the request of Manipur government and a notification by
[00:02:45] the centre.
[00:02:46] The accused have been charged with the Indian Penal Code sections pertaining to gang rape,
[00:02:51] murder, criminal conspiracy and outraging the modesty of a woman.
[00:02:56] Around 16 leaders including Telangana Chief Minister Raivendra Reddy from seven states
[00:03:00] have been called in by the Delhi police regarding a manipulated video of Union Home
[00:03:04] Minister Amit Shah.
[00:03:06] The video falsely portrays Shah as advocating for the abolition of all reservation quotas
[00:03:10] particularly for Muslims in Telangana prompting the summonses.
[00:03:13] Additionally, the special cell has dispatched police teams to Rajasthan, Sharkhand, Nagaland,
[00:03:18] Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh as part of an ongoing investigation.
[00:03:23] Earlier on Monday, Reddy and Fort Telangana Pradesh Congress committee members were
[00:03:27] summoned to appear before the police on May 1st.
[00:03:30] Moreover, a Samajwadi party loksabha candidate in Uttar Pradesh and two Congress leaders
[00:03:34] in Rajasthan and Nagaland have also been requested to present themselves before
[00:03:37] the police along with their mobile phones according to sources.
[00:03:42] KL's Wicked Keeper batter Sanju Samson has been included in the 15-member Indian squad
[00:03:47] for the upcoming ICCT 20 World Cup.
[00:03:49] Rohit Sharma has been named captain as the Men in Blue hoped to regain the World Cup
[00:03:54] after a gap of 17 years.
[00:03:56] Haridhik Pandya has been named Rohit's deputy in the tournament to be held in
[00:03:59] the West Indies and the US from June 1st.
[00:04:02] Rishabh Pandya is the other Wicked Keeper while KL Rahul has been left out.

[00:04:26] Maximum temperatures are very likely to be around 41 degrees Celsius in Palakkad

[00:04:37] While an orange alert was issued in Palakkad, a yellow alert was issued in Alapura, Trishur

[00:04:44] A heat wave warning has been issued in all these districts.
[00:04:47] Thunderstorm with lightning is also very likely to occur at isolated places in Kerala till
[00:04:52] May 3rd.
