[00:04:53] citizenship for Hindus, Parsis, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains and Christians the law explicitly
[00:04:58] excludes Muslims. If the law were truly aimed at protecting persecuted religious minorities
[00:05:04] it would include Rohingya Muslims from Burma, Ahmadiyya Muslims from Pakistan or Hasra Shias
[00:05:10] from Afghanistan among others. No one should be denied citizenship based on religion or beliefs he said.
[00:05:19] The India Meteorological Department reported severe temperatures across the state on Tuesday
[00:05:24] with Rishu recording the highest temperature at 40 degrees Celsius. According to the forecast
[00:05:29] the heat conditions will persist still Saturday, prompting a yellow alert in 10 districts.
[00:05:35] Column and Pollocka Districts reached a peak temperature of 39 degrees while Patanam
[00:05:40] Detire recorded 38 degrees. Caught in an agglom and Kanur experienced temperatures of 37 degrees
