[00:00:40] The bills were passed by a simple majority, with 269 MPs voting in favour and 198 opposing them.

[00:00:50] The ONOE bill seeks to synchronize Lok Sabha and state assembly elections by aligning their tenures. After the division vote, the bill were referred to a joint parliamentary committee.

[00:01:04] The JPC will be formed on a pro-rata basis, reflecting each party's strength in the Lok Sabha. As the largest party, the BJP is likely to secure the chairmanship and multiple seats on the committee.

[00:04:41] The churches have been asked to follow this order till the next hearing date in this case.

[00:04:47] At the same time, the Apex Court added that the state can intervene in case of any untoward incident.
