[00:00:20] Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, a mastermind of the Oct 7, 2023 attack that triggered the Gaza war, has been killed by Israeli forces in the Palestinian enclave, Israel said.

[00:00:30] His killing marks a huge success for Israel and a pivotal moment in the year-long conflict.

[00:00:36] A senior official from India's research and analysis wing has been accused of involvement in a conspiracy to assassinate a Sikh American separatist last summer, coincided with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's state visit to the US.

[00:00:50] The Mumbai traffic police received a threat message on Thursday demanding Rs 5 crore from Bollywood actor Salman Khan, officially said on Friday.

[00:01:22] Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, a mastermind of the Oct 7, 2023 attack that triggered the Gaza war, has been killed by Israeli forces in the Palestinian enclave, Israel has said.

[00:01:38] There are a number of possible scenarios for what happens next, but Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the war could go on.

[00:01:45] The Israeli military said it had killed Sinwar in an operation in the Southern Kasa Strip on Wednesday.

[00:01:50] After completing the process of identifying the body, it can be confirmed that Yahya Sinwar was eliminated, it said.

[00:01:57] Meanwhile, Iran's mission to the United Nations said on Thursday, the spirit of resistance will be strengthened following the death of Yahya Sinwar.

[00:02:04] A senior official from India's Research and Analysis Wing has been accused of involvement in a conspiracy to assassinate a Sikh American separatist last year, coincided with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's state visit to the U.S. account of federal prosecutors.

[00:02:18] The damaging indictment was filed Thursday in a New York court.

[00:02:21] The official, identified as 39-year-old Vikas Yadav, was reportedly employed by the Cabinet Secretary, which oversees RAW.

[00:02:29] Prosecutors allege Yadav, who is no longer believed to be a government employee, faces charges of murder for hire and conspire to commit money laundering.

[00:02:37] He remains a fugitive, the U.S. Department of Justice announced.

[00:02:40] The Indian government has denied involvement in the alleged plot and following the accretations launched in an internal investigation.

[00:02:47] The Mumbai traffic police received a threat message on Thursday demanding Rs. 5 crore from Bollywood actor Salman Khan, official said on Friday.

[00:02:56] Don't take this lightly. If Salman Khan wants to stay alive and end the enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, he must pay Rs. 5 crore.

[00:03:14] In a related development, Nave Mumbai police on Thursday uncovered a plot by the Bishnoi gang to assassinate Khan in June.

[00:03:22] The Supreme Court on Friday ruled that the law on prevention of child marriages cannot be stunted by personal loss.

[00:03:28] The bench comprising Chief Justice D.Y. Chandrasudh, Justices J.B. Pardewala and Manoj Mishra held that the prohibition of Child Marriage Act cannot be stunted by personal loss

[00:03:38] and that marriages involving children violate the free will to have a life partner of choice.

[00:03:42] The guidelines for effective implementation of the law on the prevention of child marriages in the country include

[00:03:48] authorities focusing on the prevention of child marriage and the protection of minors while penalising offenders as a last resort.

[00:03:56] The CPM District Secretary has approved Dr. P. Saran as the left candidate for the Palakar by-election.

[00:04:03] The meeting assessed that the current favourable circumstances should be utilised and Congress votes should be siphoned off.

[00:04:08] CPM leader AK Balan stated that the LDF is determined to take advantage of the favourable conditions in Palakar.

[00:04:14] The ex-KPC's digital media convener received a grand reception from CPM members at the Palakar District Office on Friday.

[00:04:22] After switching parties, Saran mentioned that for the first time he called CPM State Committee member Enn Krishnadas and introduced himself as Comrade Saran.

[00:04:30] He also expressed disappointment that his wife is being criticised because of his decision to leave Congress.
