[00:01:19] Kuwait early Wednesday. Officials said the blaze appeared to be linked to court violations. Five Malayalis, a Tamilian and a UP native are among the casualties. And the 12 placed under intensive care, five are from Kerala. Local media reported that Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Al Yousaf Al Sabah confirmed
[00:01:40] the toll and ordered the arrest of the building's owner during a visit to the site. The building, which accommodates over 195 labourers from the nearby commercial area, housed people from Kerala, Tamil Nadu and North India. The building belongs to NBTC Group, owned by Malayali businessman KG Ibrahim.
[00:02:00] Employees at NBTC's supermarket also lived in the building. TDP Supremo M Chandrababu Naidu was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for the fourth time on Wednesday. Janasena Chief and actor Pawan Kalyan took oath as Minister in the Naidu Cabinet.
[00:02:17] Naidu's son, Nara Lokesh also took oath as Minister. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, his Cabinet colleagues Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, JP Inada and several other leaders and prominent personalities attended the ceremony. A fire broke out at a closed chemical factory in Dobbyvili area of Maharashtra's
[00:02:36] Thane district on Wednesday morning. Kalyan Dobbyvili Municipal Corporation's Disaster Management Cell Chief Deepak Nikam told PTI that no casualty was reported so far, adding that there was also an explosion at the unit. Thick smoke blowing from the unit could be seen from a long distance, he said.
[00:02:57] The unit is located near Amudhan Chemicals where a massive blast on May 23 claimed 10 lives and left more than 60 persons injured. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who won from Weyand and Rai Bareili Lok Sabha seats in the 2024 general elections, said on Wednesday that he was in a dilemma as to
[00:03:17] which constituency he should relinquish. Gandhi said that whatever decision he will take, both constituencies will be happy with it. He thanked the people of Weynand for electing him for a second term in Lok Sabha and said, I look forward to seeing you soon.
[00:03:34] He was speaking at a public meeting in Weynand. It is his first appearance in the state after winning the Weynand-Lok Sabha seat by a huge margin for the second consecutive time. Meanwhile, KPCC chief Sudhakaran hinted that Rahul might relinquish Weynand and
[00:03:52] the people shouldn't be saddened by the same. The All India Football Federation president Kalyan Chaubey said the body has sought an investigation into the controversial goal awarded to Qatar in their crucial World Cup qualifying match in Doha recently.
[00:04:09] He said India have asked for a thorough investigation into the goal that was allowed by South Korean referee Kim Woo Sung. He allowed the goal despite the ball clearly going out of play during the must-win match that the visitors lost 1-2 on Tuesday.
[00:04:26] The goal sparked widespread outrage as it deprived the Indians of what would have been their maiden entry into the third round of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers for the 2026 edition. That brings us to the end of this episode.
