[00:02:06] Replying to a question on Friday, Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Ranthir Jaiswalt said a representative of the Canadian High Commission had been summoned on Thursday and a diplomatic note had been handed over.

[00:02:20] It was conveyed in the note that the government of India protests in the strongest terms to the absurd and baseless references made to the Union Home Minister of India before the committee by Deputy Minister David Morrison, Mr Jaiswalt said.

[00:02:34] Russia unleashed its latest overnight drone strike on Ukraine, targeting the capital Kyiv in an attack that lasted into late morning.

[00:02:43] Officials said the attack wounded at least one person.

[00:02:46] Debris from downed drone struck six city districts, wounding a police officer, damaging residential buildings and starting fires, according to Kiev's city military administrator.

[00:02:59] Reuters' correspondents reported hearing explosions in and around the city during an air raid alert that lasted more than five hours.

[00:03:07] One drone was seen flying low over the city amid the din of automatic weapons fire.

[00:03:13] Democrat Kamala Harris and Republican Donald Trump headed to North Carolina on Saturday to try to clinch support in the southeastern battleground state.

[00:04:02] Acting swiftly, the Mumbai police have started the process to extradite 25-year-old Unmol Bishnoi.

[00:04:07] He is implicated in a series of high-profile cases, including a shooting incident outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan's residence.

[00:04:15] In October, the National Investigation Agency had announced a reward of Rs. 10 lakh for information leading to the arrest of Unmol Bishnoi.

[00:04:24] The National Eligibility Come Entrance Test or NEET, the nationwide entrance exam for medical colleges pushed by the union government, is just like how Sanskrit was used in the 1920s to prevent students from studying medicine, said Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udayanidi Stalin.

[00:04:43] Need prevent students from rural, backward and marginalized communities, Sanskrit was once used as a barrier to prevent many students from studying medicine, Udayanidi said.

[00:04:55] He was speaking at Manorama Horthos, Malayala Manorama's three-day art and literary festival in Korkod on Saturday.
