[00:00:20] After nearly 100 bomb threats against flights in seven days since Oct 14, Civil Aviation Minister announced that regulations are being amended to place individuals responsible on no-fly lists.
[00:00:34] Condemning the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Gandharbal district, National Conference President Farooq Abdullah said Kashmir will never become Pakistan.
[00:00:43] The attack on Sunday claimed the lives of a doctor and six migrant workers.
[00:00:49] Chief Justice of India D.Y. Chandrachute said he had prayed to God for a solution to the Ram Janmabhumi-Babri Masjid dispute.

[00:01:30] After nearly 100 bomb threats against flights in seven days since October 14,
[00:01:35] Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu stated on Monday that public safety is the government's top priority.
[00:01:42] He also announced that regulations are being amended to place individuals responsible for such threats on no-fly lists.
[00:01:49] It is a very sensitive situation when it comes to such threats.
[00:01:53] There is an international procedure that we have to follow.
[00:01:56] Multiple meetings have been held with stakeholders since the calls began and amendments are being considered in the aircraft security rules so that the people making such threats can be put on the no-fly list after they are identified,
[00:02:10] Naidu said.
[00:02:11] As many as 25 flights of Indian Airlines received bomb threats on Sunday, causing hardships to hundreds of passengers and forcing authorities to move scores of planes to isolation base at airports concerned for detailed checks.
[00:02:25] The developments came a day after more than 30 flights of various Indian carriers received bomb threats.
[00:02:30] This week, nearly 100 flights received threats sending security agencies into HTC.
[00:02:36] The threats later turned out to be hoaxes.
[00:02:40] Kashmir will never become Pakistan, said National Conference President Farooq Abdullah, strongly condemning the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Gandhiaq district.
[00:02:49] The attack had claimed the lives of a doctor and six migrant workers on Sunday.
[00:02:54] Regarding the incident, Abdullah stated,
[00:02:56] It is a very painful tragedy.
[00:02:58] Several poor laborers who came here to earn a living and send money to their families were mercilessly killed by these terrorists.
[00:03:05] Among the victims was also a doctor.
[00:03:08] What do these terrorists hope to gain?
[00:03:10] Do they think this will turn Kashmir into Pakistan?
[00:03:12] He added,
[00:03:14] If Pakistan genuinely wants friendship with India, they must stop this violence.
[00:03:18] Kashmir will never become Pakistan.
[00:03:21] Let's live with dignity and focus on development.
[00:03:25] Chief Justice of India, Divai Chandrachood, said he had prayed to God for a solution to the Ramjanma Bhumi Babri Masjid dispute and asserted God will find a way if one has faith.
[00:03:35] He was addressing residents of his native village in Khet Taluka in Maharashtra, where he was felicitated on Sunday.
[00:03:41] Very often we have cases but we don't arrive at a solution.
[00:03:45] Something similar happened during the Ayodhya dispute which was in front of me for three months.
[00:03:50] I sat before the deity and told him he needs to find a solution, he said.
[00:03:55] The idle consecration of the temple was held on Jan 22nd this year in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
[00:04:03] The State Health Department has launched an investigation into Prasanthan TV.
[00:04:08] This is following allegations that he bribed the late Karnur Assistant District Magistrate Naveen Babu to obtain a no-objection certificate for a fuel outlet.
[00:04:16] The department will probe whether Prasanthan violated service rules by operating a petrol pump while employed as an electrician at Padiyaram Government Medical College.
[00:04:26] The Directorate of Medical Education has also requested an explanation from the medical college principal on the matter.
[00:04:33] Prasanthan will be terminated if he has violated the service rules.
[00:04:37] We will seek legal aid on the matter, Health Minister Veena George said on Monday.
[00:04:41] The minister added that Prasanthan was a contract employee at the medical college.
[00:04:45] Prasanthan had previously filed a complaint with Chief Minister Pana Rai Vijayan, claiming he paid Rs. 98,500 as a bribe to ADM Naveen for the NOC to start a petrol pump in Changalai.
[00:04:57] He alleged that Naveen delayed his application and on October 6 demanded a bribe of Rs. 1 lakh.
[00:05:04] The ATM robbery case in Coricot took an unexpected twist on Monday when police uncovered that the complaint was fabricated.
[00:05:12] Mohamed Suhail, a native of Paoli, had claimed two individuals in Perthar robbed him of Rs. 72 lakh.
[00:05:19] But authorities now say he staged the incident with the help of two friends.
[00:05:23] Suhail's friend Taha from Tikodi has been arrested.
[00:05:26] Suhail and another Tikodi native Yasir are in police custody.
[00:05:31] Police have recovered Rs. 37 lakh from Taha, Coricot Rural SP Nitin Raj told on Manorama.
[00:05:37] According to police, Suhail, who his company authorized to refill ATM machines, had been embezzling funds for some time.
[00:05:44] He staged the act to mislead the company and explain the missing funds.
