[00:02:07] Courting the report published by the Financial Times, Gandhi said that a Congress-led government

[00:02:13] would investigate the scam.

[00:02:15] The report said the documents that revealed the scam were secured by the Organized Crime

[00:02:19] and Corruption Reporting Project.

[00:02:22] Invoices showed that in January 2014, Adani purchased an Indonesian shipment of

[00:02:28] coal said to contain 3,500 calories per kilogram.

[00:02:33] The same shipment was sold to the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Company

[00:02:37] as a superior 6,000-calorie coal, the report said.

[00:02:42] Adani appears to have more than doubled its money in the process, the report added.

[00:02:50] The Supreme Court on Wednesday pulled up former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant

[00:02:53] Soren for surpassing facts regarding the filing of a regular bail plea in the trial

[00:02:58] court in a money-laundering case, prompting the JMM leader to withdraw his petition challenging

[00:03:04] arrest by the Enforcement Directory.

[00:03:07] A vacation bench of justices Deepak Dutta and Sadiq Chandrasharma allowed Soren's

[00:03:12] counsel Kapil Sipal to withdraw his plea after warning that if the court goes into

[00:03:17] the details of the case, it will be damaging for the former Chief Minister.

[00:03:24] Nearly a month after it issued notices to BJP President J P Nanda on opposition

[00:03:30] charge that Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a divisive speech in Rajasthan's

[00:03:34] Baswada, the Election Commission on Wednesday asked the BJP and the Congress to desist

[00:03:40] from campaigning along caste, community, language and religious lines, asserting that

[00:03:46] India's socio-cultural milieu cannot be made a casualty to elections.

[00:03:51] The poll panel rejected Nanda's defence and asked him that his party start campaigners

[00:03:57] to desist from campaigning on religious and communal lines.

[00:04:00] It also asked the BJP to stop campaign speeches that may divide society.

[00:04:05] However, it refused to name Modi or Home Minister Amit Shah.

[00:04:09] Along with Nanda, the EC had issued a similar notice to Congress President Mallikar

[00:04:14] Jankar Ghe asking him to respond to the complaints filed by the BJP against him

[00:04:19] and Rahul Gandhi regarding their remarks.

[00:04:24] A 17-year-old boy who allegedly crashed his high-end car into a motorbike killing

[00:04:29] two persons in Pune was granted bail on a surety of Rs 7,500 and an assurance from

[00:04:36] his grandfather to keep him away from bad company.

[00:04:39] The Porsche car allegedly driven by the 17-year-old, who the police claim was

[00:04:44] drunk at the time, fatally knocked down two motorbike porn software engineers at

[00:05:43] before letting him go.

[00:05:45] The protesters threw stale fish on the office premises and protest.

[00:05:50] On Tuesday morning, tons of dead fish were found floating in the Periyar

[00:05:54] as well as caged farms in Erdayal, Elur, Varapuzha, Kodat, Kadamakudi,

[00:06:00] Cher Nellore and Kottoli.

[00:06:02] Fish farmers alleged that pollutants released by industries along the banks

[00:06:06] of the river caused a tragedy.
