[00:01:26] Congress Working Committee members on Saturday unanimously urged Rahul Gandhi to take on
[00:01:30] the role of Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha as it also credited his two-part
[00:01:35] Chaudharyadras for the party's performance in the general elections.
[00:01:39] This will be the first time that the Congress, since its ouster from power in 2014, will
[00:01:45] get the post of Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha.
[00:01:48] It failed to get the position in the past 10 years as its tally was below the
[00:01:53] requisite 10% of total seats in the House both in 2014 and 2019.
[00:01:59] Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi will have to resign within two weeks from one of the two seats
[00:02:04] he won in the Lok Sabha elections.
[00:02:07] The Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee has recommended that Gandhi retain his Rai Bareli MP status,
[00:02:12] citing his crucial role in the party's development of foods in the state.
[00:02:16] While the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee initially advocated for Gandhi to remain
[00:02:20] in Vyandhat, they did not press the matter further after the UPCC's recommendation.
[00:02:28] The Union Education Ministry has set up a four-member panel to review the grace
[00:02:32] marks of added to more than 1,500 candidates in the NEET-UJ Medical Entrance Exam,
[00:02:38] the National Testing Agency announced on Saturday.
[00:02:41] The move comes amid allegations of inflation of marks leading to 67 candidates sharing
[00:02:48] first rank in the exam.
[00:02:50] There have been calls from several quarters for a re-exam alleging that the
[00:02:54] grace marks added to make up for the loss of time at six exam centers have led
[00:02:59] to the inflation of marks and tabooed with the chances of other candidates.
[00:03:04] The centers are from Meghalaya, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat and Chandigarh.
[00:03:12] Security has been tightened in Delhi for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's swearing-in
[00:03:15] tomorrow for a record third term.
[00:03:17] A three-layered security has been put in place at Rashtrapati Bhavan where he
[00:03:22] will be administered over the four fees by President Draupadi Murmoh.
[00:03:27] Official SIP Commandos from Delhi Police's SWAT and NSG will be deployed around
[00:03:33] and other strategic locations as Delhi remains on high alert for the event.
[00:03:38] Police have declared the national capital a no-fly zone, banning the use of aerial
[00:03:43] platforms like drones, paragliders, remotely piloted aircraft and hot air balloons

[00:03:51] The swearing-in ceremony is expected to witness the presence of leaders from
[00:03:54] neighbouring countries including Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, Mauritius and
[00:03:59] Sishilas, in addition to the maladies as part of India's neighbourhood first policy.

[00:04:23] Ranaut in a video message on Thursday said she was hit in the face and abused by
[00:04:27] the constable during a security check at the Chandigarh airport.
[00:04:32] In her video message, Ranaut said she was hit in the face and abused by a CASF
[00:04:37] constable who appeared to be upset with the actor over her stance on the
[00:04:41] farmer protest during a security check at the Chandigarh airport.
[00:04:47] He was rushed to Starr Hospital in Hyderabad on June 5th after he suffered
[00:04:51] from high blood pressure and breathlessness but passed away in the early hours today.
[00:04:56] Born in 1936, Ramoji Rao was the head of the Ramoji Group, which owns the world's
[00:05:01] largest film production facility, Ramoji Film City.
[00:05:05] He also headed the E-Nard newspaper, one of the largest circulated Telugu
[00:05:10] language daily newspapers.
[00:05:12] In the 1980s, the rise of the Telugu Deshpati was linked to support from the
[00:05:16] E-Nard newspaper group.
[00:05:18] In 2016, he was honoured with the Patnavi Votion, the country's second
[00:05:23] highest civilian honour, for his contributions to journalism, literature and education.
