[00:01:13] Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday announced that the BJP would implement the Uniform Civil Code in Jharkhand if voted to power in the state but would keep tribals out of its ambit.

[00:01:22] Shah, while releasing the Saffron Party's manifesto Sankalpatra for the upcoming assembly elections in Jharkhand,

[00:01:27] announced that a Displacement Commission would be formed to ensure the rehabilitation of people displaced by industries and mines in the state.

[00:01:35] Shah said that the Saffron Party voted to power would create 5 lakh employment opportunities including 2.87 lakh government jobs in Jharkhand.

[00:01:42] The Home Minister said that BJP would bring in a law to take back land from infiltrators in Jharkhand and identify and deport the illegal immigrants.

[00:01:50] He claimed that Maati, Beti, Roti were under threat from the illegal immigrants and the BJP would provide security to the indigenous people.

[00:01:58] He accused the JMM-led government of patronizing infiltrators while claiming that the tribal population was dwindling in the state and demography was changing fast.

[00:02:07] He announced Operation Sudaksha promising to end human trafficking in Jharkhand by 2027,

[00:02:12] besides the elimination of Naxalism from the state in the next two years.

[00:02:16] Elections to the 81-member assembly in the state will take place in two phases on November 13th and 20th and votes will be counted on November 23rd.

[00:02:25] The Mumbai police have arrested a 24-year-old woman for allegedly giving a death threat to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, an official said on Sunday.

[00:02:33] The woman, identified as Fatima Khan, who has done BSc in Information Technology,

[00:02:38] resided in Ulasnagar area of neighboring Thane district of Maharashtra with her family members.

[00:02:43] Her father is into timber business, the official said.

[00:02:46] The woman is well-qualified but is mentally unstable, the police said.

[00:02:49] The Mumbai traffic police's WhatsApp number on Saturday received a message from an unknown number threatening that if Adityanath did not resign from the CM's post within 10 days,

[00:02:58] then he would be killed like NCP leader Baba Siddiqui, the official said.

[00:03:03] Further investigation was on into the matter, the official added.

[00:03:06] The police are on alert as Adityanath is likely to come to Maharashtra for campaigning for the No. 28 state assembly polls, as per officials.

[00:03:13] Former Maharashtra Minister Baba Siddiqui was shot dead in Mumbai's Bandra area on October 12.

[00:05:39] Giving a fresh hope to the project, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that he had discussed the matter with Chief Minister Pinaray Vijayam when they had last met in New Delhi.

[00:05:47] The Union Minister further said that the centre is committed to constructing the Shabari Rail from Angamali to Arimeli as per the original alignment.

[00:05:53] The K-Rail, a semi-high-speed rail corridor, aims to ease transportation along the entire north and south stretch of Kerala and reduce the travel time to less than four hours, as against 12 to 14 hours at present.

[00:06:04] The silver line would cover a 530km stretch from Thirunandabaram to K-Rail and be dialed by K-Rail, a joint venture of the Kerala government and the Ministry of Railways.

[00:06:14] The opposition Congress and the BJP in Kerala have been protesting against the silver line project, saying it will affect the families who will be displaced due to its implementation.
