[00:00:20] Telegu actor Allu Arjun was arrested by the Hyderabad police on Friday in connection with a woman's death in a Hyderabad theatre due to asphyxation during the Pushpatu screening.

[00:02:20] The court cited prolonged imprisonment and delays in the appeals process while suspending his sentence nine years into incarceration.
[00:02:28] The division bench of Justice Rajya Vijayrakhaven V. and Justice P.V. Balakrishnan noted that Nasser, who surrendered in November 2015, had faced trial delays.
[00:02:40] The judgment in his case was delivered only in July 2023.
[00:02:44] The court highlighted that similar offenders, who received lesser sentences, was already released.
