[00:00:54] Grandmaster Koneru Hampi made history by winning the 5 Women's World Rapid Chess Championship on Sunday, defeating Indonesia's Irene Sukander.

[00:01:03] This marks her second world title in the event, having previously won in 2019, making her only the second player after China's Zhu Wenjun to win the title multiple times.

[00:01:13] Humpi's victory capped a remarkable year for Indian Chess following Deku Kesha's World Chess Championship win and India's historic gold medals in both Open and Women's categories at the Chess Olympiad.

[00:01:27] Ullis in Uttar Pradesh have filed an FIR against Gursevak Singh, a Sikh man from Haryana Sirsa, for allegedly posting pictures of himself with weapons on social media and expressing support for Khalistan.

[00:01:40] The FIR was registered under relevant legal provisions and an investigation is underway.

[00:01:47] The incident follows the killing of three suspected Khalistan supporters in an encounter between Uttar Pradesh and Punjab Police on December 23.

[00:01:55] Authorities are closely monitoring social media for inflammatory content and have warned of strict action against such activities, urging the public to report any similar incidents to the police.

[00:02:22] Khan, whose tenure ended amid tensions with the CPIM-led LDF government over issues like vice-chancellor appointments, clarified that there were no disputes beyond his constitutional duties as governor.

[00:02:33] Khan is set to take over as the governor of Bihar, with Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar succeeding him in Kerala.

[00:02:39] The ruling CPIM hopes the new governor will work constitutionally and collaborate with the state government, while also criticizing Khan's actions as aligning with the Sankh Parivar's agenda.

[00:02:52] Malayalam actor Dilip Shankar was found dead in his hotel room in Tiruvannapuram on Sunday.
