[00:00:20] 7 Indians were among those injured in a deadly car-ramming attack at a Xmas market in Germany on Dec 20.

[00:00:27] A 50-year-old Saudi man drove into the crowd, killing at least 5 people and injuring nearly 200.

[00:00:33] The motive of the accused who resides in Germany remains unclear.

[00:00:38] Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Kuwait on a two-day trip, the first by an Indian Prime Minister in 43 years.

[00:00:46] He held talks with Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jabir Al-Sabah,

[00:00:51] focusing on enhancing trade, investment and energy ties between the two nations.

[00:01:07] At least two people died and five were trapped after a four-storey building collapsed in Sohana village, Mohali, late Saturday.

[00:01:14] A woman rescued in critical condition later succumbed to her injuries while a man pulled from under the rubble was declared dead.

[00:01:21] The identities of the victims are yet to be confirmed.

[00:01:24] Rescue operations, which continued overnight, involved the National Disaster Response Force,

[00:01:30] the intern army and state rescue teams along with excavators and medical teams.

[00:01:35] Police have booked two building owners in connection with the incident.

[00:01:39] US President-elect Donald Trump criticized Panama for charging unfair fees for US ships passing through the Panama Canal

[00:01:48] and threatened to demand the canal be returned to US control.

[00:01:51] Trump expressed concern over China's growing influence around the canal, a vital trade route for US businesses.

[00:01:58] He called the current fees ridiculous and evolved to stop the rip-off.

[00:02:03] The canal, completed by the US in 1914, was handed out to Panama in 1999.

[00:02:09] Trump warned that if Panama fails to ensure the canal's efficient operation, the US would seek its return.

[00:02:16] India beat Bangladesh by 41 runs in the final to clinch the inaugural Women's U19 Asia Cup at the Bayouma's Oval in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.

[00:02:26] Powered by a half-century by Jitrisha, Indian women posted a modest total of 117 runs in the final.

[00:02:34] But the ballers kept a tight leash in Bangla women by taking wickets at regular intervals to skittle them out for 76.

[00:02:41] Ayesha Shukla, who finished the tournament as the top wicket taker, was a star baller for India, finishing with figures of 3 for 17.
