[00:00:19] We've had all day here. Welcome to the show Vicky and Sachin. So hi. Hello everyone I'm Vicky from Memes of Real Estate. Me and Sachin, we both are real estate influencers
[00:00:30] We have started this journey back in 2020 February and since then we have garnered audiences right from Mumbai, Delhi, Pune and Bangalore
[00:00:39] Right now we have come here as visitors as well as as panelists. We are talking about how the influencer and storyteller ecosystem can help organic sales of real estate Sachin would you like to add something there?
[00:00:51] So rather than being real estate influencers we were also real estate professionals for last 10 years So we have seen the industry in and out, very small experience of 8 to 10 years which we have had
[00:01:03] So yeah, we are representing the real estate community currently as the part what we are CREDAI MCHI is doing as well as the clients also
[00:01:12] Like you know what they can achieve from this kind of events. What helps them like you know to take decision on a smoother base On a faster base is what we'll MCHI also helps and that's what we are loving about that too
[00:01:23] So Vicky, Sachin, memes of real estate is a super super interesting idea. Why don't you just start by telling us a little bit more about it I'm sure our listeners would love to hear
[00:01:32] Idea at the first was to create a community wherein everybody from the ecosystem gathers and unites at the common platform We do not really have any common platform where we all you know rant or where we talk about our emotions relating to this wonderful industry
[00:01:49] That provides you know second on the GDP contribution list right so there is no common platform So we want to have that platform first and then on the journey
[00:01:57] We wanted to add some fun and humor along with the information that and the value creation that we do for the developers for the channel partners and for all the stakeholders of the industry
[00:02:05] So real estate influences is just also like a really really new and novel concept. Just can you tell us a little bit more about how people who create content for the internet are driving the industry forward
[00:02:19] Real estate influencers if you see which are from the industry they know many things about very peculiar things about real estate is the biggest purchase one will ever have
[00:02:28] Maybe it's a 10 lakh property for him, it's the biggest investment or if it's 100 crore investment it's the biggest investment for them So there are many things which are very small which help them to take the right decision
[00:02:41] It's not only about influencing them for a product but rather than influence them for buying taking a decision which is worth their while so they can choose better Rather than telling them that this builder is good, this product is good, this product is bad
[00:02:55] Telling them what is good and what is bad influences them to buy the right product for them because each one will have different choice If I like some product someone will like amenities someone will like larger carpet area
[00:03:05] But you know telling them that this is how it should be, if you are looking for amenities this is the set of amenities you should look out for
[00:03:11] If you are looking for carpet area this is how you should gauge on what carpet area actually is and what you are going to get That will be more helpful for the audience
[00:03:20] So guys tell me a little bit about how short form content like memes and reels helps to educate the consumer So reels if you see like today the most of the time a consumer spends is on his phone
[00:03:34] Before that it was newspaper, before that it was travelling and also people used to do billboard ads and everything Right now he consumes more most of the time on his phone and on that it is more on social media
[00:03:46] Okay on social media also if you just give ads ads ads he will get frustrated right But if you give him something on if he is watching reels if there is a very interesting reel which comes across
[00:03:56] He will surely going to your website and checking that your product out That reel is giving something different than what he is looking out for So moving on guys could you maybe tell us a few things you feel consumers should keep in mind when investing in real estate
[00:04:10] One would be you know do not get confused out of the options presented You got to keep your funnel or list of options very sorted Like if I am looking at the range of 80 lakhs to 1 CR for the investment I am looking at 1 CR investment
[00:04:24] I will have to boil down certain options and I will have to make some decision Let's say Diwali is a festive season right so people prefer buying on a dhantheras before Diwali right So home buying is an experience altogether you have all your family members coming in
[00:04:36] Sample flat showing and everything is all gogo gaga it's there right it's out there You got to make some choices and you got to obviously see your pocket how it fits and how it fits
[00:04:46] You got to see that and adding numbers to that and if it fits you will That's how the decision making process is and do not make it long Do not have that discussions or decisions at your family wherein you extend your decisions right
[00:04:58] So I will see to it in 6 months if it fits you right now go ahead and buy it One piece of advice to anyone coming at this event would be keep your eyes open
[00:05:08] Keep your options open don't restrict yourself that I am going to buy this location itself with this developer itself If you are here you are having so many options keep your eyes open You can invest in Khargar like any other option you might have not even seen
[00:05:23] Keep your eyes open there are good opportunities if I am not wrong there are some developers from Surat as well Why not explore that kind of options as well why not why restrict yourself that I need to buy here itself
[00:05:33] Because there are good options across India which are presented to you under one roof in BKC So that's what I like to suggest the audience which is coming here We have around 100 plus developers showcasing 500 plus projects if I am not wrong
[00:05:46] That's the beauty of bringing all the options here but also the decision making process is complex Do not make it complex take some help from the banking advisors or the banking teams or the finance advisors that you have around
[00:05:57] Go through the research and make the decision before Diwali that's what we would love to project there So guys I am curious where did you both get the idea to start off with this real estate memes
[00:06:08] So real estate if you see being the very big industry itself is a very serious industry People are here to do transactions people have that kind of sense Like when I had a school group and they used to share memes of IT and everything
[00:06:22] People used to laugh about it you know like there was nothing fun element to be for real estate So that's what was our thinking to start this page There should be some fun so there are hundreds of people who are working here day and night
[00:06:36] Saturdays and Sundays with literally no life left on a Sunday to go on a party So why not have some fun element for them to come together and create a community through this fun
[00:06:48] Where they can share their pain points and they can just relax or just have a quick laugh after the very long tiring day Is what our whole motive is regarding this
