[00:00:00] Biker Divas, BIG FM Port CAST Hello, I am Sareka Mehta.

[00:00:19] Aap, Mujya Suntra hai hai, Aajay projecta ke saat in Biker Divas.

[00:00:23] Kaafi Sarea Women Biker s Ki ek Story ho deye.

[00:00:27] Qu Une Biking Situ ki.

[00:00:29] So Aap, Kogar puchha jai to Aap ki Story kye hain.

[00:00:32] Aap, Mujya puchha jai to Mere story hai ki Aap, Nautbal Women.

[00:00:37] Usually Biker Women saatme nej saatme nej saatme,

[00:00:40] Because it is said that bike is set to be the Men's Dominal Sport.

[00:00:45] Aap, Mujya S Unekhu Jhrat enabled Biker to be seen Cannot be seen here.

[00:01:03] N mal Kepti nahi Navat Sareas mai ki Saatmebs me nato,

[00:01:08] میری پٹھے میں تھای نہیں, neither I had ever seen a dream that I would ride motorbike

[00:01:15] and I'd be travelling so many countries and start with this movement of you know women's

[00:01:20] power and all that. So biking came into my life with one negative stroke.

[00:01:27] Just when I as I said that I was climbing mountain so I was coming back from Kilimanjaro, South Africa.

[00:01:33] Okay and uh,

[00:01:35] waha asa hua ke the moment I came back there was many friends who came to meet me

[00:01:41] or sub ke pas ho heavy bikes wage rata. So,

[00:01:44] to a patient shift ve hi ho tha hain this I'm talking about 2015 that mo ek heavy bike

[00:01:51] tha ho se ho par back kick selfie ki ki chane thi, that's it, no it naia bike tha.

[00:01:56] So nothing else, but la, the moment I was trying to sit on the bike and believe me I had submitted

[00:02:03] moun Kilimanjaro, South Africa that is the third highest mountain in seven summers. So,

[00:02:08] me ne kia tha and bo ek achieve menthan immediately when I came home or with bike ke upar

[00:02:14] me badne gai to aai wo peace se itna chillarin aga it is my heavy bike, it is new bike you cannot

[00:02:20] sit on the bike, you cannot handle the bike ho mere bikes se tho na hutke raho and click the picture

[00:02:27] so asi a negative troll asi hui or ek statement dos ne pas ki hai you know that time I was like

[00:02:33] ke chana ekhi foto ke chana in a let me do that and immediately he got angry and usnek statement

[00:02:39] pas ki hai ke you can climb mountains but biking is not cup of yachty. So, this not cup of yachty

[00:02:47] itna chubke hai mo jhe ke it was not that I wanted to show it to the world but I wanted to

[00:02:53] show it to myself to ki wo time pe mere bachye bhi de aur wo sunra hai hai. And this not cup of yachty

[00:03:01] me re dictionary me ya to mere family ke dictionary me hai nahi because if you surge me re dono

[00:03:06] bachye a the youngest mountaineers in the world to summit mount albres russia aideh jo 9 and 12. So,

[00:03:13] it's like it was that negative stroke ho itna ho ga aai and then I entered the field of biking

[00:03:20] where I convinced my husband that apko mo jhe bike sikhani paregi and that is how the

[00:03:25] biking journey started and on a sirt teen din sikha hai at the stroke test unko bhi asa laga ki

[00:03:31] ye siklegi and that is it done an award but do teen din mere itne saal nikal di anap travel so

[00:03:38] many countries till now most important for your growth is be grounded that is very important

[00:03:45] because the moment you become inspiration for others you are inspiration from your home front

[00:03:51] and for me my childrens are watching me they're seeing me and the moment they say that you are a

[00:03:58] role model so I have to be so much grounded that you know they learn from this thing and that is

[00:04:05] how the journey of biking has started since 2015 amazing. So, ye jo jo cheeze apne betai na

[00:04:13] was sab my eyeh khe saamne se jahare hi abhi ko pikcha kriy to rata.

[00:04:20] Saarika hapne betai aa ki haapne e grubi shuru kia biking queen nam se.

[00:04:25] To surat me je sa ki haapne ga ki gujrat me to rasa dominance tha aur women bike o zitne nahi

[00:04:32] dikhti bho time pe. To jab aapne ye aa ka grub shuru kia to us mein kasi ye ladies juri thii yaa

[00:04:40] grupp shuru kane itak bho enthusiasm rata ale kine use ki aage jaa ke ride karna us mein

[00:04:48] bo pashan tainba rei ki daerig te kaha me daedin ajme mein That l'agme ne be hi hai aapne hapne

[00:04:55] tere all la kuntin kagar aapne ge bhaa, kiaa haapne tere all laak ne jaa kine jaa kaa

I really want to do this or not

[00:05:22] Convincing family

[00:05:24] ھا بھی کسیور the place where I stay

[00:05:27] and the state which I say

[00:05:28] still there are people

[00:05:31] women empowerment

[00:05:40] ھا not that much changes as we are expecting

[00:05:45] you have to convince your family

I have to convince my family

[00:05:52] ھا کن starting with

I have to convince my family

[00:06:02] So, just like in the first try they don't have confidence in themselves.

[00:06:07] So, they have to build every time.

[00:06:10] And it is not necessary that they will stay with you for a longer time.

[00:06:14] There are chances they have certain other situations at home front

[00:06:18] or they have got married and gone to another city.

[00:06:24] And they have pursued their work.

[00:06:27] So, maybe there are chances they won't be able to come.

[00:06:31] But yes, there are chances that there are people who are joining

[00:06:34] or just who are interested in passion.

[00:06:37] So, they are still with me for the first day.

[00:06:41] So, they are there.

[00:06:42] But I have made one rule that family values and family is your first priority.

[00:06:49] We have to see that.

[00:06:50] But it doesn't mean that you cannot share your things with them and you can come out.

[00:06:56] I can tell you that I did this all in India right with 35 plus,

[00:07:00] and 45 females do all in India right.

[00:07:02] Can you imagine 45 bikes going at different states?

[00:07:06] We covered so many villages, distributed.

[00:07:09] It was a social cause there are lot of many videos on Google also.

[00:07:13] So, that time as well the convincing their family that they want to come for the right.

[00:07:19] And main purpose is safety.

[00:07:21] Here in India, no one is taking any city.

[00:07:24] You have to come there.

[00:07:25] You mean traffic rules and that is where the blame others do what they do.

[00:07:30] So, those accidents.

[00:07:32] So, there are lot many aspects in this.

[00:07:35] So, taking the responsibility and those people who come into the real cup

[00:07:40] when they started writing and doing social campaigns,

[00:07:44] they started feeling that they are doing something for the society.

[00:07:48] Second biggest thing was when we all in India right that there were so many women's and girls

[00:07:52] who were from different backgrounds, different culture.

[00:07:55] Still they got along together and there were girls who were really parents.

[00:08:00] I think you can take this to them.

[00:08:02] They are very much introvert, they will come out and learn something.

[00:08:06] There was a girl whose weight was almost...

[00:08:09] You guys have one 40 kg.

[00:08:11] Can you believe that?

[00:08:12] 120 or 140 something like that in my group.

[00:08:15] And you have to take her to Khadungala.

[00:08:17] That was the biggest task for me.

[00:08:20] Because every day writing, every day writing and social campaigns

[00:08:25] we have to cover all the states here.

[00:08:29] We had to go to Khadungala and we did the whole circuit of the lay.

[00:08:34] It was a next level fitness required.

[00:08:38] So, I started giving them training of fitness and inspirational talks and a lot of things.

[00:08:44] So, there were lots of girls who changed after coming to life.

[00:08:48] The time schedule they started managing that time and lot many things.

[00:08:52] So, it is like, that zeal, every time they have to fight in them.

[00:09:02] By Karthi Bagi, travel days.

[00:09:05] So, there is one travel tale.

[00:09:08] You have to tell a story from your journey.

[00:09:12] I just told you that my first journey in five days

[00:09:17] in five European countries.

[00:09:20] So, I learned a lot of things when bikers meet.

[00:09:25] So, they are talking about their journey and they learn something from them.

[00:09:32] So, I have always seen, whenever I go on international rides or either Indian rides

[00:09:38] I always try to learn something.

[00:09:41] And the first thing I learned was that there was a portion

[00:09:46] of 85 years old rider.

[00:09:51] And he was riding like crazy.

[00:09:54] And I had learned that age doesn't matter.

[00:09:58] Or in India, you know, I am not comparing but this is what I have learned.

[00:10:02] That here are 50 years complete and then we get a tagline that you are getting old.

[00:10:09] So, you cannot do this. You cannot do that.

[00:10:12] So, there are many taglines where you get it.

[00:10:16] So, I have learned this thing that age doesn't matter.

[00:10:19] Why fitness is so important for any rider or a woman?

[00:10:24] Fitness is very, very important.

[00:10:26] No matter how you biking or not.

[00:10:29] I have also learnt in the mountaineering that my fitness level should be high.

[00:10:35] It's not about mountaineering or biking.

[00:10:37] You work so much at home, your fitness should be so high that after 50

[00:10:43] also after 70 also you should look fit.

[00:10:46] And that is very important. That is what I have learnt.

[00:10:49] Second thing I have learnt from this rider is that even when you are riding

[00:10:54] always make sure that no matter what safety is your first priority

[00:10:59] because there is somebody waiting at your home front.

[00:11:03] So, don't exit yourself so much into that passion and drill of speed and everything.

[00:11:09] Safety is your first priority.

[00:11:12] And I have learnt so many things from my negative things also.

[00:11:15] Like I can tell you so many incidents had happened in my second ride also

[00:11:20] from India to Singapore. We were stuck in Noman's land.

[00:11:23] We were stuck in this noxialites and we had food issues.

[00:11:29] We had broken roads and many things.

[00:11:31] And the recent one was still I get this goosebumps like when I was on this ride

[00:11:37] from India to London we were three girls from biking means I selected three of them

[00:11:42] and they were when we were riding in Russia.

[00:11:46] One of the rider lost her passport and it was stolen from the red square.

[00:11:52] So, we had a disaster that time because passport is said to be your other skin

[00:11:58] you had to keep it with you.

[00:12:00] So, that time we faced lot of problems and she had to return back

[00:12:05] and things like that when things are planned.

[00:12:08] So, small things happen. We were stuck in this you know

[00:12:12] Tibet China's problem. We were stuck there.

[00:12:15] We had to ride in such condition roads that we never saw

[00:12:19] either we would have been able to get out or not.

[00:12:23] And the biggest nightmare was in Amsterdam.

[00:12:26] We had passed two bikes on the hotel and we came down and it was gone.

[00:12:32] Like in the morning we came and both our bikes were stolen from Amsterdam.

[00:12:37] This was also a big news on Google and there were a lot of things.

[00:12:41] And that was a time where I had to take a wise decision.

[00:12:46] It happens like we go and we know that we are coming back from Amsterdam

[00:12:52] via Africa again coming back. It was just hardly few days more

[00:12:56] and we had to reach to our destination.

[00:12:58] And suddenly, the bikes started going so it was a big disaster

[00:13:03] or that mind becomes closed now.

[00:13:07] So, the police the ambissata told me that you can fly to London

[00:13:11] because there was a big reception by the embassies

[00:13:15] and by the government they had made.

[00:13:17] But that was not my dream.

[00:13:19] My dream was to reach London on my motorbike.

[00:13:22] So that was not possible.

[00:13:24] But that was a time when I had two choices

[00:13:28] and these two choices were met every time in my life.

[00:13:32] Whether it was sit and grip and we keep trying that it has happened or else the other way

[00:13:38] that time, what time to utilize that now what next?

[00:13:43] So that is how I choose the second that now what next?

[00:13:47] How we should go and how we can go.

[00:13:50] And that is how we took another bike, one of my friends from Spain

[00:13:54] where I was doing this international ride.

[00:13:56] So I have a lot of many friends and connections in different countries.

[00:13:59] So, he took my BMW and I started again with another bike

[00:14:05] so the stolen one was stolen.

[00:14:07] So, BMW took me from that bike.

[00:14:10] Then it was complete journey and we reached London.

[00:14:14] This cafe London is set to be the herbs of the bikers.

[00:14:19] You know, bikers cafe throughout the world.

[00:14:22] There is no bike in the world that we have to go there.

[00:14:25] And we were having around more than 1000 bikers there to welcome us at this cafe London

[00:14:30] because all those people were following our journey.

[00:14:33] And the moment they saw that she has ticked another bike and she's again coming back.

[00:14:38] So everything is lying inside you.

[00:14:41] There is something inside you.

[00:14:44] There is a solution inside you too.

[00:14:46] But you just have to start thinking and taking initiatives

[00:14:50] rather than complaining and wasting your time.

[00:14:55] Bye Kachibas Kravpur!

[00:14:59] You have done the travel journey till now.

[00:15:02] So, where did you like the best food?

[00:15:06] And you liked it?

[00:15:07] I can tell you, there are a lot of places where I like it.

[00:15:12] Like we were travelling to Thailand and also I like those kind of food also.

[00:15:18] But keeping that thing on us means I like the European food also.

[00:15:24] I am a person who is very worried about things.

[00:15:27] But the best food is that if you talk about food, then the table or the table that I take with me

[00:15:34] will make me taste it.

[00:15:37] Because I am a good taste, but not me.

[00:15:41] But yes every culture has their different food and different taste.

[00:15:46] So they end up doing it at a time because they are not much fond of salt and sweet.

[00:15:53] They have a bland taste.

[00:15:55] So they end up cutting it.

[00:15:57] Now I am fond of the European food also.

[00:16:01] So yes I am good with it.

[00:16:04] I have started loving that food.

[00:16:07] What will you tell us about a bike tip?

[00:16:10] The biggest bike tip is connect yourself with your bike.

[00:16:13] Understand your bike, that is very important.

[00:16:16] Because when we speed up the bike, we speed up the bike.

[00:16:20] And if you cannot control your bike, if you are not connected to your bike

[00:16:25] you will not know how to stop and break everything.

[00:16:33] So a connection with a bike is very important.

[00:16:37] And whenever we are riding, no matter how late it is, make sure that you have next day or two days before you have your bikes check,

[00:16:47] your fuel check and this whole check should be done before you go in any of the ride.

[00:16:56] And the biggest another thing is whenever you are going on a bike, make sure that your bike is on the road or wherever you are going.

[00:17:05] So if you have any family or anyone else, then you will know which route you are taking or where you are going.

[00:17:12] So this few things are very important when you are going on any of the rides.

[00:17:19] Sarika, you have been very excited with us.

[00:17:22] Thank you.
