In line with ICC's goal of having one tournament for each format of the game, the World Test Championship is a bi-ennial tournament to find the best test team in the world. Earlier attempts to hold this tournament had failed, this is the first time a team will be declared as "World Test Champions". India and New Zealand go head-to-head in the first World Test Championship final to be held at the Ageas Bowl from 19th June 2021. To understand the signficance of this event and analyse the teams, we speak to Chetan Narula. Chetan Narula is a well-known sportswriter/journalist. He was written on cricket, F1 and football at various avenues not only in India but also in USA and UK. He also worked as cricket commentator (voice) at ESPN and has authored multiple books on Cricket and Formula 1.
