The young & versatile composer-singer -lyricist, Jasleen Royal joins Host Eva Bhatt, in this episode, remotely, from her native place, Ludhiana.
Known for her fresh voice, quintessentially folk yet contemporary music, Jasleen has impressed music lovers, since her very first appearance on a talent hunt show, where she displayed her art of playing different musical instruments. Being so young, she has had some noteworthy songs as a singer till date (Khoobsurat, Love You Zindagi) as well as a composer (‘Jahan Tu Chala’ in Gully Boy, ‘Deh Shiva’ in Kesari the Hichki soundtrack).
She shares her musical inspirations, love for folk music & her experiences as being one of the few female music composers in Bollywood, today. She talks about the ‘composer’s block’ & her funny way to deal with it!
