Rima is trained in Film Making from New York Film Academy and is also Oscar Academy Certified Film Preservationist.
With her ties close to the Hindi and Marathi Film Industry, Rima is a very well known award winning film maker who has made her niche in films on issues related to women and children which have been appreciated at various International and National Film Festivals. 63rd Cannes Film Festival was one such festival, where Rima walked the red carpet while representing her shot film Jananee, which was the first ever Marathi short film to be screened at Cannes Film Festival.
She is also an award winning screenplay writer and consults regularly for short films, film scripts, web series. Rima has a distinct writing style and contributes regularly to reputed magazines like Sadhana and Saptahik Sakal.
Rima is also a popular Podcast host with several running Podcasts which include audio stories, interview shows of celebrities and changemakers, entertainment reviews and podcasts devoted to mental health.
