Joseph Sakoda aka Da Rulk has a background in kinesiology and biomechanics. He devised a functional training program, Raw Functional Training, that would provide an intense workout without the need for specific equipment – or even a gym. His outlook on fitness is one that bases itself on improving your quality of life far beyond the exterior markers that we usually associate with the fitness industry. Although famous for training Chris Hemsworth and Josh Brolin for their roles as Thor and Thanos, he finds his true calling in training firefighters, first responders, and absolutely anyone who wants to attain true fitness.
